I want Prince to accidentally catch an 'ugly' Pokémon like Rattatta... And I'm willing to have him journey with someone because he needs someone to carry his bags if anyone wants. That, or he might stalk someone with the intention of making them his servant.

Viking isn't a wacko :D but I doubt he'd want to travel with anyone xD Yet, at least. I'm toying with the idea of letting him capture a female Charmander, just because he'd think it was annoying that it was female. Though I would somehow think it's annoying too so maybe it'll be a male one after all...

Basically, what I have in mind is that not much at all is required to capture common pokémon. For uncommon pokémon, some kind of adventure or decent battle leading up to the capture is necessary. For a rare pokémon, it should be clear that effort has been put into the episode, either from the battle being long and exciting or the other events leading up to the capture being good enough.

And you MAY split up a 'capture episode' into several posts if you don't feel like writing a friggin novel for a rare pokémon. I won't judge individual posts if it's being made CLEAR that several posts are mainly there for leading up to a capture.


EDIT: btw, I can meet up with someone now if someone would like that :3 Briefly or all the way to Viridian. Prince, perhaps? Or Azure?

I know I didn't get to write much yesterday, and I'm going to have a busy day today so I'm bot sure how much I'll be able to do, but once Violet actually starts going somewhere (probably just to Viridian) I'm not opposed to having her meet up with someone xD

Yeah. I see no reason why not. But if you try to capture two pokémon in the same post / after a single battle or adventure, chances are that one will escape. So you have to write more in order to get more pokémon, naturally :3

Mm, I debated with myself whether or not to specifically state that you were only allowed to capture one Kanto starter. But I thought nobody would try that anyways so xD Seems I might have been wrong :p you'd have to write quite a lot in order to accomplish that though, yes.

Sorry about that, Rairai (what a cute nickname I just gave you), I did state in the OP that it would be a very free RP though. This first route was just a tiny something to let you get a feel for your character and maybe catch a pokémon or establish an opinion for your character on their peculiar situation. Hopefully Viridian will give you a little more to do. But just a little.

I personally enjoy being able to make up my own stories and weave in and interact with other people in these kinds of RPs, rather than to follow closely written up dialogues and events while just adding my own twist.

What do you guys prefer?

Honestly, exams are almost always much easier than expected... since I thought I had to answer 6+ questions for my sociology exam and I only had to answer four. Sooooo my exams went great!

Yeah, I like to just weave in to interact with people myself; siiince planning a co-post can take a while. xD And events are always a nice twist. :3

Anywho, if anyone wants to interact with Nabooru, she's in Pallet Town~ <3 (well, I'm writing a post about her in Oak's Lab now, and just head out)
