The other day I visited Bianca and together we worked on writing NPC text. We made good progress. And now some screenshots cause I haven't posted any in a while.


This is the Guard Tower, It is the route gate guard's head office.
Stuff may go down here.


Celeste City, where you get your last badge ...or so you would think.


Victory Road, which is still in Kanto but completely redesigned.
And I've since forgotten the correct route through myself. Which will be great when I play test it.

Soon I'll be visiting Bianca again and to do the rest of the NPC text.
We have two towns and one route in Kohto left to write text in.

This is actually pretty awesome. You have a really unique style of spriting, and although it's quite different from the traditional style, it still fits. Your mapping is top-notch, and all of the little details in the game are professionally done... Good job.
I like how you've paired up with someone and have decided to work on it as a team (IRL at that). Ideas really turn out great when you have two minds working at it. It's not just a solo effort, and I commend you. Keep it up!

Just today I managed to finish editing the pokemon and levels of every single trainer in the Kohto region.
All that's left over is some trainers of Kanto to edit.

That's awesome! And have you thought about making some sort of update log or some sort list to put on your thread, just so we can keep track of all your awesomeness?

I don't think so, we're really really close to completion so just expect it before the end of the year.

I got http://mamarocket.deviantart.com/ to draw some promo art for pokemon bronze in the anime style the pokemon promo pictures use. She drew the two protagonists and the three starters and I couldn't be happier with the result!

Me and Bianca have just finished replacing ALL the text in the Kohto. All of it. It's all completely finished. From start to 8th badge.

All that's left over is some towns and routes in Kanto. It's well on it's way to completion!
Soon some new Pokemon will be added (GEN 5 and hopefully some Fakemon) along with some optional events to beef the game up.

Not to be rude or anything, but if you add other Pokemon, doesn't that mean you have to edit all the trainers' teams once again?

I think what he means is, you edited all of the trainers Pokemon so far in the hack, right? If you start replacing some pokes now with newer ones, the trainers will have some of the newer Pokemon and it may be akward. Here's an example, I know it sounds kinda confusing lol

Say if you have a Fire gym leader. All of her Pokemon are set. Ninetails, Magmar, Rapidash. But now you decide to add newer pokemon into the hack. So say you decided to replace Magmar in your hack for Emolga. NOW that gym leader has Emolga and she's a fire gym leader.

See what I mean? Some basic trainers on routes may have Pokemon they shouldn't have as well.

I am well aware of this. That's why I'm replacing Pokemon I know I didn't use for GYM leaders.
Regular trainers it doesn't matter so much, but rest assured I am aware.
