-Defeated the Elite Four and Lance (used FAR too many revives and hyper potions. Ugh!)
-Beat up all the people on the SS Aqua, woke up the layabout and had to babysit the kid (annoying)
-Landed in Vermillion. Figured out the hard way that I couldn't beat Lt. Surge yet so decided to run around the other gyms first.
-Defeated Sabrina
-Defeated Erika (I hate that gym layout)
-Got the machine part and the Power Plant is running again
-Interrupted Misty's romance (I'm a pest!) and defeated her
-Defeated Brock
-Defeated Janine
-Only Blaine, Blue and Lt. Surge to go

Electric Monotype
-FINALLY defeated Giovanni. My entire team was level 61 by the time I managed to beat him. Earthquake kept on OHKOing me up til I was level 50-something. Ugh.
-Defeated the Elite 4. Took me 2 tries to beat Gary because he was using Sandslash and my non-electric moves are mostly subpar.

-Defeated Team Magma in their base (far too many random encounters, bleh!)

-Defeated Liza and Tate
-Defeated Team Magma again (no blowing up volcanoes)

-Went to Sky Pillar to wake Rayquaza up
-Defeated Juan after 3 tries. Evil, evil Kingdra using Double Team.

Oh yeah, that would be great. For now, though, I'll be sticking with the Flying challenge, but if you want to add my Fire- and Grass-progress, too, that'd be great, if I decide to finish those

HM slaves can be used in battle only if they match your type. If they are anything besides your chosen type, you can carry them around as long as you don't use them to fight any trainers (fighting wild Pokemon is okay, since some Pokemon need to evolve in order to use certain HMs).

Finally another update.

I went through the whole Team Galactic stuff, defeated Cyrus and KO'd Giratina.
Went back to Pastoria and to the move tutor to get rid of Juda's Rock Polish for Sucker Punch.
Then I went to Wayward cave and got TM 26 Earthquake!
Gave Earthquake to Rampardos and got rid of Screech.
Went to Sunyshore and got my 8th and final badge. Next update will be the end of Sinnoh!
