Personally Cryogonal (hth you spell that) is fine to me, though I think the idea of a snowflake is kinda uninspired :c

Though yeah it is kinda weird.

Another one I'm not so fond of is Glalie, it just looks... quite frightening, actually And it has a constant angry face, like what are you so mad about you're a floating ice ball xD It's just creepy. Not the biggest fan of Froslass either but she beats Glalie by far.

And not only that, but Snorunt was sooooo cute :c

But yeah. Very weird and creepy. Froslass isn't very good either, but it sure beats that ball of ice.

So enough of the negativity, eh?

What ice-type move is your favorite, functionally and aesthetically?

I love Ice Beam. Functionally, it's a really good move. But, more importantly, I think it looks really cool, ESPECIALLY in Colosseum/XD (dont know about Battle Revolution since I've never played it) where it both looks and sounds cool IMO.

I'm also a huge fan of Ice Punch, mostly because it makes Weavile (one of my favorites) awesome ^.^

^ Le this. Aesthetically, Aurora Beam and Ice Beam look beautiful, but I like Blizzard as well because of it's sheer power even if it's inaccurate :C I love lots of ice type moves, but my favorite is probably Ice Beam.

As far as Pokemon Myst. Dungeon goes, Powder Snow is probably the strongest of these. Literally just wipe out everyone on the floor if your strong enough, and beating a Powder Snow-abusing Articuno with a Grass Type was fun fun fun

Hmmmm what move do I like? Personally frost bite (or with it was), since you get a critical hit every single time. Though in reality it's weak it's just fun.

But I also appreciate Ice Beam being there, especially Drayden is one hard mofo to beat without it.

awesome pic lol

What ice-type move is your favorite, functionally and aesthetically?
Ice Beam hands down. Great special attack, 95 base power, 10% chance of freezing, and it has 100 accuracy.
It almost as much power as blizzard and 3 times. I make sure to teach it to any pokemon that can learn it, wether its an ice type or not.

I think we all pretty much agree Ice Beam is the best Ice type move. I know I love using Ice Beam in competitive battling because Ice is super-effective against Dragons, especially Dragonite. However, in Ruby and Sapphire I had a Walrein that knew Sheer Cold. Even though it has a 30% chance of hitting, the 100% guarantee of an OHKO when it does hit makes it a move to watch out for.

Ice Beam! It's just a complete classic and looks awesome haha. The damage is great, the freezing chance is wonderful, the accuracy is brilliant, and the idea of a big beam of freezing ice sounds incredible. So that wins for me by far <3 I also admire Blizzard for its huge power but that's about it. I wish there was an Ice type version of Will-o-Wisp though, it'd be great to have an instant freezer.

What ice-type move is your favorite, functionally and aesthetically?
I'd have to say Blizzard, but I do like using Sheer Cold as well.

Oo interesting question! I don't have a clue, but the Pokémon that instantly came to mind was Snover so I'm gonna go with that. :3 It''s adorable and I love how they managed to make a Christmas tree Pokémon without it looking awful :3 Its hands are insanely cute and they look like they could do a lot of damage, as well as showing that two such unrelated types can be so good together in a design. Grass and Ice are two types I never would've put together design wise but it really works in Snover <3 Shame it evolves into something ugly and awful D:

I dunno...but yeah, Snover is pretty cool. It's pretty cute, but Abomnasnow really lives up to its name :c

I love Snorunt because it's cute, and Froslass because it's mysterious...and kinda cool :"3

I'd say Froslass, she looks so beautiful.

She's based on the Yuki-onna, which is a beautiful but mysterious ice-ghost demon in Japanese mythology.

Also, Ice/Ghost is an interesting typing, I thought they'd never bring out a Pokemon with that combination but I like how interesting of a type combination it is.

In my opinion, Glaceon has the best design, but I'm biased when it comes to the Eeveelutions. I love the color blue and Glaceon's colors match those of a glacier. Overall though, Glaceon is just so adorable.

Ice-type is my second favourite type. The ice Pokémon are often strong, and have good designs. If I was a gym leader, I guess I would be an ice-type gym leader, you can build a good team with them.

Lapras, I'll call you Lokhlass!

Which Ice type has the best design in your opinion?
Glaceon's very cute. Like all the other eeveelutions. It's just adorable, and one of the most graceful Pokémon to my mind.

Everyone seems to love Glaceon eh? o3o I guess I can see it's cuteness:

Spoiler:

And it's toughness:

Spoiler:

But I'm not sure it's the best designed Ice Pokémon... It seems somewhat boring considering what most Ice types are like? With Pokémon like Beartic, Cryogonal, Weavile, Articuno, etc, it just seems like Glaceon was a little lazy? I dunno, I might be wrong, I guess I haven't spent that much time looking into it haha. I just think it should've had something interesting and unique about it; as it currently stands it just looks like a dog with pointy ears that's been put in the freezer :p

Who wants to convince me otherwise? ;)

The best designed Ice? Sneasel came to my mind first (I'm not Weavile's biggest fan), but you know I think Articuno, Glaceon and maybe Dewgong can come up there.

Glaceon doesn't really have all that great of a design to me, but I've seen a lot of fan depictions which kind skews the appeal. Articuno is one I've ALWAYS loved. I can remember being 5-years-old and saying it was, like, my favorite. It still is one of them. Dewgong's design is simple yet effective. And Sneasel just looks really unique as an icy weasel thief with a feather thing xD

So tie between Sneasel and Articuno.
