Appearance:

Personality: Isla is playful and a bit forgetful at times. She is a very open person and tends to speak before she thinks. She is generally nice to everyone she meets, but if you get on her bad side she makes every effort to make sure you realize that you are there in the first place. Since her newly developed love for studying pokemon has emerged, Isla uses every new opportuniy of meeting new pokemon as a case study. If it has to do with pokemon, she has to know about it. Every pokemon is interesting to Isla, they are as diverse and different as people in this world and her passion to learn about them is her outlet of enthusiasm.

History: Isla grew up in Lilycove City where her father is a curator at the art museum and her mother a judge at the pokemon contest hall. She has always been taken care of in life, her parents work ensures that money is never an issue, but she has always felt lacking. Not the typical rich girl complex, but her life just always seemed empty. She is always expected to be perfect and mind her manners, she wouldn't want to tarnish the family name after all, but living life inside the lines didn't suit her at all. She was often seen giving impromtu tours of the museum posing as a guide and was even escorted out of a pokemon contest by security for being caught rearranging the letters on the judges booth to say "hotdog bus". As punishment her parents made her take a class over the summer break, she protested while they insisted, but she at least got to pick the class. She chose Pokemon: a field guide, a general knowledge course that covered many different aspects of various pokemon species and their traits. She figured if she had to learn something it might as well be something she would enjoy. Halfway through the course work she was move involved than even she thought she would be and was quickly becoming a self proclaimed know-it-all when it came to pokemon. Her dream was to someday become a professor and dedicate her life to the study of pokemon, just like the man who wrote the textbook that sparked her interest in the first place, Professor Birch.
