GSC Which Starter do you choose in G/S/C?

Although I normally choose the water-type, Hinoarashi is my starter for Silver. He's adorable when he's little and ferocious when he's grown.

My first playthrough of Silver I chose Totodile due to my water type bias, but my second playhthrough I chose Cyndaquil and I haven't picked the other two since (not even in hgss).

I like chikorita. She's so adorable. She's my favorite starter, ever, because she stays cute throughout her evolutions. I don't care if she's not a tank-she's cute!

I mostly when for Totodile as Chikorita was bad and cyniquil was over-rated.

Cyndaquil. I always loved his design, he's so cute! I also picked him as my starter because of Gold from the manga, one of my favorite characters. Also, Typhlosion totally rocks.

Totodile, though in recent times I've changed. Generation two is saturated in Water types. (pun intended).

I chose Chikorita, all three of her stages are so freakin cute. Definitely made beating the game challenging but she held her own tho.

I've always preferred Cyndaquil in Gen II. Totodile and Chikorita just don't cut it for me in that generation.

I chose Totodile because i really like Crocodiles/Alligators and thought his design was really cool.
And back in the day i still watched the Anime, and i loved how Totodile would bite everyone :D

Not sure why, but my first time playing silver I picked Chikorita...I can safely say that's a mistake I'll never make again. I f I were to play nowadays, I'd go with Cyndaquil.

I picked Chikorita as my first choice. I also did new games with Shiny SCyndaquil, and another save file with Totodile since i ucould use a vulpix with a fire stong.e

I chose Chikorita because I wanted a challenge.
In the beginning of Silver Geodude and Zubat are avalable and they complimented Chikorita nicely.(i think my sign. has my trainer card from johto)
