4th Generation: First Pokemon ever captured

My first captured Pokèmon in HGSS was Pidgey. In DPPT was Starlly.

In my Platinum, it was Starly. In my Heartgold, it was Pidgey.

Lol just noticed they're both birds.

In Diamond, it was a little Starly. Now it's a Staraptor. ♥

My first Pokemon caught in Diamond was Shinx.

My first Pokemon caught in HG was a Zubat xD

In HeartGold my first capture was a pidgey and on diamond it was a shinx I think.

On HG/SS, I head towards the final part of Route 45 to find a Spearow for my team. That would be my first capture.

For D/P/Pt, I always have a Luxray in my team, so I get a Shinx first.

On my Diamond, its a Shinx.

On my HG game, its probably THAT SHINY SENTRET that I randomly found right after I got my Pokeballs from (whowasitagain?)

In DPPt I'm pretty sure it was either Starly or Shinx, as they appear very early on, and are Pokemon that looks like some I'd want to catch, but probably Starly since it's a bird. Not a bad choice either, considering it's by far the strongest of the starter birds and most bird Pokemon in general.

I may not have played the games, but I can already predict that the first Pokemon I'm going to catch once I get my hands on the games is a Pidgey. Starter birds ftw!

In Diamond, it was a Shinx. And now he's probably one of my best teammates right now

First one I caught was a Bidoof. I planned on using it but when it reached lvl 23 I was like "Screw This" and released it.

Well the first Pokemon I recieved was a Piplup, but the first one I caught was a Starly.

And the first catch in HG was a Hoothoot.

In pokemon diamond the first pokemon i caught was a starly sadly it didnt make into my final team was replaced by my honchkrow. then in pokemon platinum i believe i caught a starly again. in pokemon heartgold it was my geodude

Well.. this is awkward.

My first capture in DPPt was a Bidoof I named "lucky". Oh the irony.

My first capture in HG/SS was a Sentret. I purposely caught it just because back when I used to play GSC, my first capture was a Sentret, and I was so apalled by the new pokemon of that Gen.

It was definitely Shinx. I remember too well -- I was searching the grass just above Twinleaf Town to capture a male one with the ability Intimidate. He is now the strongest and highest level of my team. c:

In Pearl I believe it was a starly.

In SoulSilver, it was probably Heracross somewhere in Azalea City. I reeeeeeeeeally don't like capturing Pokemon that I won't use on my final team, so avoid it wherever possible. Because I also plan out my team before I even start the game, I have a good idea of what I'm going to get when in an early stage, and prepare accordingly. The first two gyms were fine for my lil' Cyndaquil/Quilava to use on their own, and when I got Headbutt, I headbutted me a Heracross as fast as I could! (When I played Gold, I probably got a Mareep beforehand, but I'd told myself I was going to wait for a Magnemite this time around.)

As for Platinum, I got me a nice lil' HM Slave Bidoof. To love and care for and not completely abuse as an unintended byroduct of me forcing all of my HMs on it. Not at all.

Diamond was a Starly, I believe. My second-caught Starly is still around, but now she's a level 100 Staraptor <3 My starter (which I know doesn't count) was Piplup. D:

SoulSilver was a Sentret, I think? With my starter being Cyndaquil.

Hmmm in Diamond I remember catching a shiny Shinx... but I don't remember if it was the first one... I started it in the middle of the night. 8D But I think It was something more common like Starly. Still have the little kitten, named Simba. (Oh how unoriginal... *goes to hide*)
Platinum was the same sort of, middle of the night start up. I think I went all the way to Jubilife without catching a thing. Then I caught a Budew around 7am while grinding.

SoulSilver - Sentret. Because I needed someone for my team who can Surf and use a lot of HMs.
HeartGold for me has too many resets already that it's not significant.

This is very hard for me in Pokemon Soul Silver to remember, I think it was a Pidgey and as for Pokemon Platinum and Pearl, it was def. a Starly.....hmmm all Normal/Flying types
