You Know Pokemon is trolling you when you have six Pokemon at full HP and the person your battling has one Pokemon left, that Pokemon is a (presumably) well EV trained Hydreigon that manages to use Outrage for three turns gets confused and then get to use it for two more turns despite being confused! Lucky for me I had my awesome Kyrem (forgot how to spell it) that KOed him with a single ice move (can't remember which one).

Who was Pokemon trolling that day?

When I go into the GTS and search for "Palkia" and then 5 of the results are useless pokemon nicknamed "Palkia".

Also, when I go into the GTS and look for a pokemon I really want, then find a shiny version of it, but after I pick the pokemon that I am going to offer, it cancels the trade saying "We're sorry, But this pokemon has already been traded to someone else!"

One word. Emolga. Throughout my entire Black and Black2 run they have been the bane of my adventure. With their double team and parahax, volt switch shananigans, and interfering with my Audino hunting/training. I dont even run away when I encounter them anymore. You really don't care about catching pokémon and completing pokédex but you want that pokémon because it's cute. Turns out it has one of the lowest catch rates.

Not me but this happened to someone else. When you run into a shiny Minccino before the game even starts! Yeah, the pokemon in the introduction sequence also seems to have randomly generated stats and this is what happens when Arceus hates you.

If you tend to catch a Moltres with its HP almost down, 7 turns passed, and is Para haxed. I try to use 15 Timer Balls, some are 2 rolls, some just barely catch it, and not one is close to being captured. Use Ultra Balls, same result. I gave up on catching some legendaries. Or Confusion(mainly Swagger), which made me switch out immediately and rage.

In Platinum when trying to catch Creselia, I would do the route swapping trick, but it would stay in the pokepark routes for minutes at a time, then when it did come by, it would magically teleport over by the pokemon league, loop around where I'm route hopping, and go right back to the pokepark.

Mainly when your Pokemon is paralysed, and EVERY turn for about ten turns, it can't move.
