Mine is from the album ¡Dos! by Green Day. It's the chorus of a song called Lazy Bones.

"I can't take it anymore

Basically, I love it because in the song it's my favorite part, and that it also connects to recent events in my life. My parent's won't get off my back about everything I've messed up on, and I have to explain things to them every day. Then the next day they bring it up and pretend that the conversation last night didn't exist (hence liars) and it keeps going ON AND ON AND ON IN A VICIOUS ****ING HORRIBLE CYCLE. They do NOT listen to me at all and it feels like they're trying to break me and have me admit I'm doing something that I'm not.

I feel in love with this song the first time I heard it. It actually inspired one of my fan fics.

This song lyric would probably be far from being my all-time favorite. But it fits the topic. This specific verse has just been stuck in my head for a while, and it just keeps me going. Especially when I find myself pondering on the somewhat questionable real life choices I've made in the recent past. I find it oddly inspiring, even though I can think of many other songs that I prefer over the song that the lyric came from itself. So yeah, it's probably gonna change in the near future, but for now, this is it.

They just really stuck out to me and it's a pretty true statement. The reality I picture in my head is far better than the real reality. I've always wanted to live in the world I imagine in my head, but unfortunately I can't. I really wish I could live in the made up world in my head cause life would be better.

Nas is one of the best storytellers ever when it comes to lyrics. I really like the last line here from "Vivid...listenin". He is telling the listeners that they can follow his story and his life through his songs.
