I once tried trolling. Didn't work too well.

Well, I could like try on another random internet forum or something.

Do it.
Trolling is fun, especially if it's a young(ish) person who believes you.

Hmm I wonder if Outfox is off passed out somewhere.

Really don't see the appeal in trolling and I don't understand why people do it... is doing something for the sole purpose to see other people annoyed all that rewarding or appealing? Eh it's something I have no interest in.

Trolling is soo 1991. Griefing is the new trolling, just load up gmod and have some fun by blocking doors, and what not.

I'm probably gonna sound like the internet equivalent of an old crotchety man shouting "GET OFF MY LAWN, YOU YOUNG WHIPPERSNAPPERS!" but what is griefing? XD;;

Trolling is too much hard work, I'd rather spend my time doing other things, like thinking...

I don't know what griefing is, but it sounds a lot like bullying to me, and I hate bullying.

I never troll, unless if it's in something laidback like EGC's spam thread.

Griefing on Minecraft is the partial or whole destruction of another player's constructions. As for elsewhere on the internet, I have no clue.

In general griefing is something you can only do on games instead of forums, where you make the game hard to play for people with your actions - blocking doors like Zet said, destroying buildings like Ante said, or most popularly just killing the same person over and over again so they're unable to play the game properly.

Spawnkilling is the most despicable, annoying type of griefing/trolling. It does make whatever game in question impossibly difficult to play and I've experienced ragequits from things like that. :< Really frustrating.

My hubby does this on COD all the time. Only as a retaliation though, still not a nice thing to do though.

I don't know whether I'll see a bad case of griefing on CS:GO when I do get into competitive online battles. Let's hope that I never get to see that.

Funny thing, an MC server that I frequent had a bad case of destruction that took a while to fix.

Then you'd get a kick out of the polite trolls. You know, the ones that ease their way into a conversation/group online by masking their ulterior motives and then striking when nobody's looking. Those are my favorite.

Trolling is a terrible way to grab attention. What you need is to make an argumentive statement, and read other people's responses to it to find out if you're right or wrong, and use those responses to tweak your views. It's how I thought Gen V was the most controversial gen of the series since Gen III.

Having your own opinion is important too, sure you can agree with others but you shouldnt just change your opinion just to agree with others.

In that case, I've been "griefed" on an online game. It just irritated me more than anything else. They would steal my supplies, then leave and use them. I would steal them back and leave, only to be chased and murdered. Then everytime I came back, they would run over and kill me again. T:

This post has been in progress for like 20 minutes. I stopped part of the way through to feed the stray cats. Then I ended up carrying around the friendliest one to keep him warm (the other cats freak out if I try to pick them up). Aside from being stuck outdoors, those cats live better than some pets.

Couldn't you just keep the stray cats, so they won't suffer living in the streets?
