But how do you actually keep in contact with them all?
Heck, I don't even keep in contact with my 20something friends eheheh.

I have my profile set that people can't search me unless they're a friend of a friend (or a friend). Same with friend requests. I don't have anything personal about me on Facebook or in emails. I:

Being on Facebook is like contact. I know that my family friend recently broke up with her boyfriend because her status changed, she knows I was playing the Binding of Isaac because I posted it on mine.

I would never have people I didn't know on my facebook (if I had a facebook) because then all these strangers would know what a boring person I am.

I almost might delete people I don't really talk to. But some of them are just plain idiots and the stuffs they post are so dumb it makes me laugh. I don't want my Facebook to get boring neither

I did have to delete a misogynist the other day. He's in my school and his apps interest me but I just couldn't take all the "all the girls at this school are ugly" and "FEMINISTS BAD".

I just block people who get on my nerves- like my cousin. When I remember, I go to her profile and see what she's been up to, though. Otherwise, I really don't need to see her "like my status" posts and stuff like that. I: Writing that made me remember to look at her profile. Now I remember all over again why she's blocked. I reallly don't care to see your discussion with someone else about being teased involving chest size. Really.

Does anyone else dig through their facebook and delete their own comments, videos, and photos? I just lock some stuff if I think I might want to see it another time.

Sometimes when I'm browsing through Facebook, I see some old comments of mines and I find them pretty embarassing so I delete them xD

I wander through and realize how much of an idiot I was. A year from now, I'll be thinking the same thing about how I am now eheheh.

Darn it I keep forgetting to study. Unless I get around to it, I'm going to end up failing (and continue to be disliked by the people in said class) haha.

Meh, I only get on facebook to post pictures really, which I think is stupid now that I think about it because I have instagram for that xD

I might delete a picture I posted soon because it has my address in it. I would feel comfortable with everyone I allowed to see it seeing my address, but by default it's set to "Friends except for" the people I listed, which means if I ever add a new friend they get to see it unless I remember to go back and block it.

It would be nice if people had the courtesy to ask you if they could take a picture of you and if they could share it, but we don't live in that kind of world now. We have to document everything.

My aunt takes terrible pictures, then posts them on Facebook. She actually took a photo of me while I was doing something, then told people I was doing something else in said photo. I was pretty irritated. She's blocked now because I'm ticked off by her.

I remember a girl added me and she said that I her dad was cheating on her mom with me. I kept telling her that I was a guy and that I was 17 years old (at the time) but she kept talking to me like if she knew exactly what she was talking about. She said she read my files and whatnot, I was like wtf? You live in Philippines and I live in Canada.

To stop them from seeing what they get up to in their personal life, I imagine. I know I'd consider doing it, had I any family other than my cousin and my sister on facebook. A week or two back my aunt actually added me - but she's since deactivated her account so it's alright, haha.

One thing I don't really get is deleting people you don't often talk to. I mean... it just seems pretty unfriendly and standoffish to remove someone just because you don't talk to them much or at all when they do absolutely no harm being there. It's almost like there's some standard you want your facebook friends to live up to which seems way off to me. I just add anyone I've had a nice chat, a good night, whatever, with so I can keep in contact with them if I want to and if not then next time I see them do anything I'll at least remember them for anything we did together. Removing people for the sake of it just makes no sense to me, honestly.

Maybe because they didn't know that you can select people whose updates you don't want to show up in your news feed? Quite a few people I know didn't know about a lot of the lesser-known functions of Facebook.
