Would that increase evasion or something? Sounds very gimmicky...

How about an ability that sucks hp when the owner/user uses a physical move? (sort of like inflicting Iron barbs on the opponent, except you aren't waiting for the hit, plus you get something more out of it.)

I have always been hoping for an Ability that will restore PP. Sometimes PP doesn't matter but when the opponent used Grudge or Spite it could become useful.
Or an ability just like Scrappy so you can use Ground type moves on Flying foes.

Speaking of making ground hit flying, a pokemon that automatically starts Gravity when it's in (not permanently, just when the pokemon is in). It would be pretty neat and allow for some cool combos with the pokemon involving hitting flying / levitating pokemon with ground type moves and low accuracy moves becoming more viable.

Also a Trick Room effect like that would be pretty neat as well.

What if, types are assigned to abilities. Imagine how ludicrous it is for static to still affect ground types despite immunity to the type the ability is associated with. If it were given electric type, then it will not affect ground types. Other than immunities, effects of abilities are either strengthened or weakened depending on its type matchup. (ex. Flame Body will only give 10% chance of burn on water types, dragon types, etc. and give 25%-30% chance for grass types, ice, or bug types.)

^ I agree with Static but not with Flame Body.
I'd like to see a Kecleon's evolution (or maybe Porygon or I don't know...) that would've this ability:
Color Change #2 (Yeah, I am too lazy to think of a name xD)
Whenever this Pokémon prepares to use a move its type changes to match that moves' type. (non-damaging moves included) It can also be great if it works as Color Change too. :D
Max STAB, yeah! :p

I like that ability! :3
Maximum STAB for every attacking move, nice! And it could also work defensively, if the opponent uses a fighting move, just use a ghost move and his attack will have no effect!
Actually, come to think of it that seems too overpowered...

Kecleon is gimmicky and not too strong so I don't see it as being too overpowered...it's only overpowered if one knows how to use it right.

STAB for everything sounds amazing. But would they actually do that? I know what MRAS said but it really does seem too strong, lol.

Yeah, it does seem pretty overpowered. What if a certain Pokemon has a boosting move (Swords Dance/Calm Mind) and utilizes their attacking moves in conjunction with this new ability? It could be devastating. D:

I'd like for there to be an ability opposite to Defeatist in which, if a Pokemon's health drops below half, that Attack/Special Attack are maximized.

Nothing too big. Think of it like Anger Point in Primeape, except more useful, I suppose. xD

DIE TWILIGHTSKY (Love you Derk <3)!

Giving an ability that gives EVERY type STAB is a little bit crazy. I mean Adaptability sort of does that by making everything Normal typed, but at least Normal isn't an overpowering type in the slightest. This would just be overpowered.

Then it can be an ability that converts the user into the type of the last used move. :] And get STAB next turn if you're fast enough.
Can allow some combos like Nasty Plot > STAB Dark Pulse/Snarl, Sunny Day > STAB OP Flamethrower, Swords Dance > STAB Body Slam/Return, Stealth Rock > STAB Stone Edge, Detect > STAB Mach Punch, Trick Room > STAB Psychic .. xD

Adaptability increases the power of STAB from 1.5 to x2. Normalize changes all attacks used by the ability owner into Normal attacks. Also Feebas, Basculin, Corphish and Crawdaunt have Adaptability too and it is utilized very well on the Water; Water/Dark types.

I would like to see another variation or more spread of Adaptability though.

An ability that would make the chances of critical hit 50% higher in rain.

Ancient Guard - Priority moves can't damage this Pokémon. However, super efective attacks (x2) do double damage (x4).

I'd love to see this in Archeops, for example.

Fly - would increase the flying type attacks by 50% if health is half.

Acrobatics would be horribly overpowered, but other than that, I don't see a huge issue with this ability. xD

Maybe instead of half health it could be 1/3. Kind of like Overgrowth / Blaze / Torrent / Swarm. That would make more sense at least. It would be nice to see a bit more type variation with these moves (even if they are generally not that useful if another more...appetizing ability is available).

What about an ability which that doubles the power of all its moves when strucked by a Super Effective Attack?

What do you mean by this? oO; It doesn't seem to make much sense to me....

If you mean like, if a Pokemon is struck by a super-effective attack, then the power of all of it's moves doubles? I personally think this is way too overpowered. Keep in mind that not all super-effective attacks deal significant damage (depends on a number of factors, really). So in a sense, you're giving that specific Pokemon pretty much a freebie by striking their weaknesses, and if they survive, you're pretty much dead. Especially so if they're a Pokemon that's fast.

I don't think it's too overpowered. I mean when you have stuff where your attack is raised EXTREMELY HIGH when there's a critical hit... then having your own power doubled with a super effective attack isn't that bad especially if they have bad defence.

I don't see this being too bad, really. Though perhaps too game changing, since an attack missing is all it really takes to change the tide of the battle. @_@

An ability that decrease Accuracy and works just as easy as Intimidate is something I personally would hate. :x
Maybe if it needs some kind of a condition or a counterpart.

Probably just decreases special attack then? I mean, these are mythical Pokemon here, so I imagine that they would have something unique to the both of them. Assuming that Xerneas is more physical and Yveltal is more of the Special attacker, Xerneas would learn Intimidate and Yveltal could learn the special version of intimidate, which lowers special attack?
