Oh you're right, she does speak english instead in the Japanese and French versions.
Let's say the region is based on Europe in general, and we just know she's from this region, not her home town. Then the Japanese and French players can assume she comes from the town that will be based off England. Problem solved!

I can't argue with that, genius Syd!

All I keep thinking is how much harder going through caves might be... More chances for Zubat encounters...

Eh. I don't think it'll be such a big deal. I'm kind of excited and more concerned about the length rather than the difficulty. XD

True that, I'm just excited about the change in point of view. It will make things very different, I'm guessing. Will we have a compass-like device? A lot of RPGs have them, and considering the changes in these games, I wouldn't be surprised if we had something similar.

Natural Harmonius gropius was a great character. I hope we get more characters like him in x/y.
Any ideas on puttential rivals (not traditional rivals, rivals in the since of N.)

A compass will probably be built into the gadget we receive. We always have Repels at least.

I hope that they have two rivals who each take the other two starting Pokemon similarly to Black & White. I prefer having two rivals, the teams can become more diverse between them.

Bianca and Cheren didn't really get a good or diverse team till the end of BW though. I hope they don't give the rival(s) generic Pokemon like the generic bird or rodent or something everyone gets. It got boring, really.

I agree. It annoyed me in Black and White how the rivals all used generic Pokémon and those annoying elemental monkeys. I disdain them so much...

Wouldn't be surprising in the least, really. I see it as kind of a traditional thing. Opposite starter + generic bird type + some other Pokemon, and I don't know the others(since I'm like still half-asleep right now). XD

Bleh, the elemental monkeys were like pseudo-starters and I always felt cheap picking one of them up to help me against the first Gym. I seriously hope Gen VI stops handholding us like Gen V did.

I guess Silver didn't use the normal Pokémon. I still didn't like his team anyway though.

Its always been the generic Pokemon that they use, I hope they change it up this time and maybe even give them a pseudo legendary to make it somewhat difficult.

I hope they get a strong Pokémon like that too. And they also end up with very powerful Pokémon and are a big challenge.

I could've sworn at least one rival had a psuedo-legendary in the gaming series...

Yeah; Cheren had a Haxorus, and Barry had a couple of strong pokemon (Heracross, Snorlax...) and yeah, Blue had a Tyranitar.

I don't really mind what pokemon the rival usues, but I want him/her to have a good strategy. D= I just want harder rival battles, tbh. ):

Well Blue uses a Tyranitar in his rematch in FR/LG, so that's probably it.

Stronger/more difficult everything would make me happy, but that's just me talking here. XD I like more of a challenge.

I hope I don't regret saying this...

How about making difficulty levels available at the start of the game instead of after it?

That would be more ideal I think, especially for a friend of mine that thinks that B2/W2 was a bit too hard for him. D:

I'd love that. The games are far too easy otherwise.

Does the difficulty level in Black 2/White 2 change wild Pokémon encounter levels? If not, then that and other changes involving the difficulty could be added. Adjustable trainer AI, item prices, encounter ratios, and PokéBall capture rates just to name a few.

Hm, It makes me wonder why they didn't have the option before the game in BW2 in the first place. Yes, I'd love for the rivals to have tougher Pokemon and strategies. Maybe they could use revives like us for an improved strategies, as well has laying entry hazards and using combos like wish and protect.
