That is correct! Mia is supposed to be pop cultured as all get out, so I wanted a game/character name of some sort. I figured the Fire Emblem knights would be a good fit because of their heavy armour and firepower, and Zelgius was the most exotic/badass name I could think of from them.

Haha, thank you! I know Red's been adding music to their posts, so I figured "okay, what can I do to just make this as over-the-top as possible?" and I knew that Mia would DEFINITELY be the type to walk around with a speaker hooked up to her PokeiPod, blaring whatever theme song she was feeling at the time. And so, we get a battle between two low level pokemon that only know Tackle as an offensive move... set to The Ultimate from Persona 4 Arena. Because I can. It's also why she gets to spout out ridiculous catchphrases like "It's time to d-d-d-d-d-duel" and "Heaven or Hell, let's rock!" (Yu-gi-oh (which I have never actually watched or played, to be honest) and Guilty Gear respectfully). And why she's wearing Asagi Asami's jacket from the Nippon Ichi games. (Aside from the fact that I just... really like that jacket.

Also, this is funny because my name was actually going to be Adam if I was born a boy, so... irony?

EDIT: I found a chapter rule in a journey RP from someone else that I found interesting:

- Level cap here is 10. Your Pokemon cannot level up higher than that.

Level caps! That might help if some people get stuck in levels 12 or so while others go up towards lvl 20+ soon.

I guess... 20 is a level cap for Viridian Forest. I'd rather you didn't get that far even, though :p but some are already on lvl 17 and whoa Vuowth is on lvl 19.

Yeah. Actually. 20 will be the level cap for chapter 2. You can still post even if your pokémon has reached lvl 20, but your posts won't get you any more levels for those pokémon.

Sounds reasonable to me. That way it balances things out nicely for everyone.

Also, I'm enjoying reading those joint posts a lot the double headers are awesome! I'm a bit disappointed that the Charmeleon trainer hasn't posted yet as I would have loved to have Charmeleon but I suppose everything works out for a reason. I'm loving Dewott and that whole family line a lot more now even started a new game on White with an Oshawott named Lucy. :3

I am in my college's production of a play, and we open in just under a week. My days have been spent going to class and my nights dedicated to homework and rehearsals. Unfortunately, 10 players seems to be the absolute maximum of what I can handle as a GM. That's why the spots are closed even though there are trainers and pokémon left. Thanks for the interest though!

I see, thank you for explaining although it was not necessary at all :) I'm glad you're not giving up and still want to be in! I know right, the stories are really entertaining :D I don't just think of this as a RP, it's like we're writing a book of stories that hopefully intersect once in a while.

On the matter of number of players, it seems like heretostay123 left a farewell note (for two weeks at least) in the RPD but didn't really notify me here or personally. So, um, if he cares that little I might poke him from the RP soon. I'm not sure I'll open up a new spot though; you are quite a handful already, my dear players ;) Which I love! Just don't want to overburden m'self and stress you up more.

Well, pretty much made my closing post in Viridian Forest and decided to switch to present tense as compared to past since it adds a deep understanding when being read, and also allows for more freedoms when expressing a character's emotions without making a poorly-worded sentence.

Question: If a Pokemon would normally learn a move after evolution at that level (Like Grotle learning Earthquake as Torterra at the lowest level it can evolve by.), would we still have to evolve it at that exact level to learn the move or would we have to resort to a move relearner/tutor or TM if the right one is available later? I'm contemplating how I'd like my Pokemon to evolve for the story and move accessibility will have an impact on my decision.

However, as with Riolu & Lucario, there are moves that the evolved form have listed as being known at level 0. These, I can throw up when I feel it's fitting when the evolved pokémon is leveling up!
