@ Nakazumi - I was referring to the character Alicia and Nox since they are the only ones possessing any particularly mean traits. But that isn't a complaint since it fits the character.

@Klar - I'd prefer to wait for a full roster but if I can at least get the 11 of us all with SUs done I'll submit the IC.

Edit: I have updated my own character with a (fairly basic) gift just to try and keep up with the rest of you. It is only a minor addition so don't worry too much.

It's not going to be like "super-mega-ultra-massive-napalm blaster" where firing one is going to have the blast force to level a city. I think of it as more of an actual burst of flame as opposed to setting things on fire, but the more magic that he dumps into it the more powerful the blast will be. And I just figure it'd be a fun power to have :b

Spencer stands 5’11” tall and has black hair dyed blonde. He has a muscular-slim build, concealed under his outfitting. He usually can be seen wearing his workplace uniform, which consists of a black vest, tie and white dress shirt and either brown or black loafers. He is rarely in casual attire.

Personality: Spencer may seem to be ill tempered and quick to anger but really he is a peaceful person. It’s just that even when he is offended slightly he becomes violent and belligerent, even the slightest bit of rage will cause him to outbreak in hostility although he has a dislike for violence. During his hysterics of violence, he exhibits a very vulgar, stubborn, brash and reckless nature. Spencer may become so angry that he may accidentally harm someone or do something brash. When he enters a fit of anger he shuts off his body’s pain reception (needless to say he isn’t immune or invincible), but when he enters his normal state of mind it can result in him submitting to the sudden pain that is built up from injuries his mind has blocked out. This personality makes him great for direct and upfront combat but bad for stealthy tasks that require not letting your anger get the best of you.

Many think of Spencer as a terrible person but usually because they don’t see him being reserved and his violent-side personality is usually acquainted with his reputation

When he isn’t infuriated, Spencer is a considerate but playful and friendly person. He has a strong dislike towards thugs or people who try to assert misplaced dominance over him. Spencer is slow to forgive a grudge. He loves physically challenging himself but not mentally. He fears hurting someone dear to him and feels like he is a ticking time bomb.

Weapon(s): Spencer usually fights unarmed and he carries no weapons although he often using objects within range to inflict misery. He is most powerful close range and has little to no long range abilities besides throwing objects.

Past Life: In his previous life, Spencer lived in London, Britain and worked as a bartender and struggled with restraining his anger. He was self-educated although it was to a minimum extent that would ease daily needs. His younger sister lived in his care as well as his father, both paraplegics. His mother died during his early adolescence, thus Spencer has no recollection of her.

Due to his anger problem, he had a bad reputation and many thought he was a delinquent due to the frequent fights that he got in during his childhood. As a form of release to prevent having pent up anger, Spencer began physically exerting himself

Special Gifts/Talents: Spencer was very fit as a mortal and his physical limits were pushed to the highest he could push them, being strong enough to bend metal with ease and lift his own body weight with one hand. This has been amplified with his conversion into a Reaper. Although he may be in shape, even by Reaper standards, he has little to no restraint or moderation of its use and also uses his magic abilities only for Dimension-Hopping.

Any Other Info: He also has a fixation for dairy-based products. Also he is unable to swim and is very distrustful of electronic technology.

Appearance: Tasahiro stands at about 5'11, he weighs about 160 pounds. His skin is tanned, much like everyone from Japan. His jet black hair hangs down to his shoulders, and it blocks his left eye as well. He looks like a gothic person. He wears a black tee shirt with a black trench coat over it and black jeans, as well as black sneakers. His face is sharpely pointed, with a scar running down his chin. Tasahiro's muscles are large, but are not huge. His eyes are astonishingly white.

Personality: Tasahiro is the exact definition of the word warrior. His loyalty is undying, his heart is full of courage, his head filled with wisdom, and his sword driven by purpose. He never says anything if it doesn't have a purpose. He believes that everything has a reason. Destiny is always present. This has led him to believe that he was destined to be a reaper. He does not deny any mission: It is destiny. He doesn't hate anything, but he doesn't love anything either. He is a man of neutral intent. He is the Switzerland of the reaper world. He is very polite. He grew up believing that if one is always good to another, good things will come out of it. He is very awkward when it comes to social interaction. He prefers to be alone.

Weapon(s): He uses an anciet Japanese katana in one hand and a second, smaller Wakizashi in the other....and mayonnaise, but that's a different story.

Past Life: Tasahiro was one of Japan's finest warriors. Was. His skill was countered by very few men. He was in the emperor's personal guard. He grew up alone with no one to care for him, so he was always a loner. Even when the guard was sent on a mission. He fought the enemy with sword and word. He was visited by a reaper in the year 224 BC. Mishumi's talent for killing was legendary, and the rea[ers agreed. He was taken to the grim reapers, and he was trained and turned immortal. Now he is one of the more active reapers.

Special Gifts/Talents: Tasahiro is a master swordsman, as well as a gifted climber. One of his finer talents is the brewing of excellent tea. His skill with a jar of mayonnaise is very deadly. He's killed a man with it. His most useful talent, however, is his ability to manipulate people.

Not bad for an alpha but at a bit over 2000 years of age he would be far from being one of the oldest reapers, even Nakazumi's character who is around 6000 wouldn't be since the reapers have existed as long as the first sentient life, which may not even have been in Geos (Earth's realm). Other that he sounds intriguing and I look forward to seeing your finished SU.

I will be submitting the SU as soon as heretostay123 has completed his SU and Orange has posted his SU (unless of course he hasn't posted it by tomorrow when his reservation runs out).

Okay guys since I have removed oranges reservation that gives us everyone ready so I am going to submit the IC.

I will probably repost this in the IC but here is the description for Chapter/Mission 1. If you have any problems with this let me know

Mission 1


Group A (Adrian, Destiny, Luka, Nox) - A huge coven of vampires has appeared and is using a large, abandoned warehouse in Moscow, Russia as a home. It is believed that they were spawned through harbinger magic and that several harbingers are also present in the nest. The warehouse is in a heavily industrialised area and as such is very lively during the day but is fairly dead during the night. You and your fellow reapers will scope out the warehouse and the general area around it during the day and attack the nest as soon as the area is clear. Vampires are difficult to kill needing to be stabbed through the heart, have their head removed or be burned by sunlight or fire, but are not a huge threat to you; any harbingers present however will be a big threat as they possess all the powers of a reaper.

Group B (Alicia, Seth, Byrne, Spencer) – A tribe in the Saharan Desert has come across an ancient burial ground imbued with demonic energy that was previously unknown, even to the Grim Reapers. They are going to conduct a ritual in order to utilize this energy to grant a wish, which could go one of two ways
• They will wish for control of the climate and succeed; thus hugely unbalancing the Earth or:
• They will wish for control of the climate and not succeed giving themselves as unwilling sacrifices to the demonic energy which will likely manifest itself into a gigantic physical form.
You will need to either stop the tribe from starting the ritual or kill whatever monstrosity the energy manifests itself in. The mission itself is simple enough but there is the trouble of finding the location of the nomads in the huge desert.

I'm glad you approve. I chose the groups based on what I thought were good matches for the introduction and interaction of characters. You won't always be working with the same group though, hell missions could have as little as one person.

Which by the way is what will happen to any latecomers who wish to join. They'll get a solo mission whilst this part is concluded.

It would, but, if you are searching a large desert for an ancient burial ground that not even the grim reapers knew about until recently it is generally good to have the seer who can locate objects with flame in your group. Besides Byrne will have great interaction with Alicia.

If you are truly bothered by his placement I can swap him with someone but where I have him makes sense.

And, lol, I have had some fun thinking of paranormal beings to use as Reaper NPCs. The main one being Slenderman, as well as the Rake. Technically speaking, Slenderman is a version of the Grim Reaper, I guess, so that should work nicely. The thought of using them here amuses me. xD

One of the main things you probably have noticed with this RP is that it makes a lot of use of the "all myths have some truth in them" belief so quite a few things are quite possible.

Edit: I just read that Heretostay will not be able to participate for some time. Due to this he is still to be treated as an accepted player but I will no longer be including him in the first mission. If he comes back before we have finished that part then he can have a solo mission.
