Someone needs to make a game with these in it once we have a lot!

You know this is a great thread when someone with art skills as bad as mine can still help.

I'm not sure about 96x96, it's big right ?. I use 32x32 grid in PS , brush : pencil 1px -> start drawing and saving by index color , png format

Umm... Added more to the lower body, gave it some wings and some wrist spikes, also does somebody wanna to do some feet, I'm not good with feet.

I took a shot at the feet, although someone can change it if they don't like them. Also, do we need to remove stuff and make it 96x96 again?

Yes. Please keep it 96x96 for consistency. This sprite can continue, but from now on no canvases larger than 96x96. And 96x96 is the current (if not 100x100) sprite size for the Black and White 2 games.

also, the current sprite reminds me of a mother-style mob. ahaha :D

ps. try to keep your extra posts like game screenshots apart from here unless you include a contribution. You can also use [IMG]urlhere[/IMG*] (remove *) tags to post images instead of attachments, but that's just an alternative.

I tried to touch up some of the details, and I thought that the viney hands would look cool.

Honestly, I'm not liking this sprite too much :/ could someone experienced give some suggestions?

Deleted Anything that went outside the 96 by 96 canvas.
Moved Wings to fit canvas.
Simplified jagged lines with trying to keep the essense of the pokemon intact.
Tried to make it editable for others.

note: Next time someone adds too much especially when it goes outside the parameters, revert to the previous poster's addition and moveon from there. It ruins the fun for everyone else when the game is hijacked.

Ok Small Edits, small minor edits

Such as fixing those hands which are for questionable intentions, also gave it a little thing... I don't know what to call it, it's the bit in the middle just under the petal collar.



Also it is still in the 96x96 Grid, and do we want to consider adding colour soon or leave that till later

Fenneking and Serperion just made this sprite look waaaaay better than it did before :D

I don't see anything that couldn't be fixed with a bit of color, so is it color time?

Changed a few of the colours giving it a more Orange colouration as a secondary instead of yellow also does anyone else feel like this one is an onion?

Pretty colors! Also, I personally think that thingie on out sprite's head should be orange, not green.

very minor but im hopless when it gets to the colouring stage.

i took in the previous statement about the bulb on it's head colour and made it orange, and gave him red eyes... he kinda looks like darkrai, but anywho im currently seein him as ghost/grass or dark/grass?

This Pokemon looks like it would be a Grass/Fairy/Ghost/Fighting/Flying. I'm not too great at shading so here's some more minor colors. And on a random note, since were're creating a Pokemon and not just designing one, I kinda see this Pokemon as somewhat of a mixed attacker with high Special Defense and average speed.



I think we're almost done here. I'm nearly out of things to do.

Since I'm absolutely horrible at shading, I'm not going to post any edits until we start a new sprite, but so far it's looking really good. I would say it's a Grass/Ghost with Levitate, Final Evolution of a 3 stage evolutionary Family with moves like Razor Leaf, Toxic, Leaf Blade, Shadow Claw and Slash. Its stats would probably be; High Attack, Good Defense, Average Sp. Attack, Good Sp. Defense, Low Speed, High HP. Probably a base stat total then of nearly 600 maybe 580.

I thought those greens were too dark, so I lightened them up some.



Also did a few changes to the shading in some areas and redrew the outline in a few places near the bottom.

Added some more shading, revamped the outline and altered the palette a little. I think we have this one pretty much covered now (unless anyone wants to edit it a bit more.)
