My mobile service provider is Telstra, which, if I'm not mistaken, is also the largest one in Australia. It's reliable, which is all I really want - I only use my mobile services to access the Internet, though, so my judgement is mainly based on that. Don't get me wrong, though; the few calls I do make are handled pretty well.

Not to be the exception in the trend of Australians not having access to comically large American services like WalMart, there's nothing AT&T here (although we do have other global providers like Vodafone). By the sounds of it that seems like a pretty good thing...

My cell phone service provider is Virgin Mobile, which is a subsidiary of Bell Canada. Although, admittedly, I don't use it all that often. I really don't have much use for phones. I regard them as a necessary inconvenience.
I just looked Virgin Mobile up and I wasn't aware it was in so many different countries.
In the United States, Virgin Mobile USA is a subsidiary of Sprint.

At&T is mine and I prefer AT&T over any other really.

Why the hell isn't Virgin Mobile on here? I've used VM since I got my Galaxy Reverb last Christmas, and I have next to no complaints with them.

My mother and I use T-Mobile. We've had it for almost three years now. It works for us since we mostly just call and text. Our bill is only about $100 a month, switch is fantastic.

I currently have and always have had Verizon. I find them to be great. Never have problems with them tbh. Good service everywhere I go.

I've always had Verizon as well, and I don't plan on switching. Several of my co-workers have Sprint or T-Mobile and they have to go outside to even get reception...and meanwhile I'm sitting there with about four bars of service. You get what you pay for, but it helps that I'm on a family plan and just pay for my part of it.

I've got AT&T and I really haven't had any issues at all. I tried Sprint for a wireless hotspot, but it NEVER worked! It was sooooo bad, things took forever, and the cancellation fee was over $200!

My family used to use AT&T, but we switched to T-Mobile later. I don't know why we switched. XD

I'm an Aussie, so Telstra. ;)

We have a few choices in Australia, the big players are: Telstra, Optus and Vodafone. All the other smaller ones like Virgin Mobile are resellers based off one of those three.

I used to be with Vodafone but decided to move after a big outage occurred in Western Australia where both voice and data services were down. They were selling really cheap post-paid and prepaid plans and as smartphones got more and more popular in Australia it got to the point where they just couldn't keep up with capacity, making it super slow for everyone.

As Aurora2698 mentioned, Telstra is more pricey but it just works. :)

I currently have a Nexus 5 on T-Mobile's network
Couldn't be happier, and that's that I came from Verizon

I used Telus until I started high school, and have been with Rogers ever since.
I may be wrong, but I think these are Canadian providers, which is why they're not in the poll. They're both pretty big here.

We have Verizon. It works really well where we live. We used to have T-mobile, but we moved into an area where it wasn't working as well as it used to. Thus, the switch to Verizon. I personally really like them because they have a better service than T-mobile does. I have an iPhone 4 lol go figure.

I voted Verizon, but Verizon isn't exactly my provider.

I bought an American phone last year, and it came with Verizon on it, something that isn't in Canada (I think?). My phone doesn't have a plan on it anyways, and I don't need one.

I'm with Wind Mobile in Canada. I'm SO HAPPY with them. I get unlimited everything for $40/month, the only real catch being that I have to stay within their Wind zones for it. I get pretty good service--on the trip from Waterloo to Toronto (both Wind Zones) I only roam for maybe 5-10 minutes. I'm mostly just ecstatic to not be giving money to any of the Big Three telecomms anymore though. *u*

Since the poll listed mainly US providers and seeing how a lot of international users here are listing their providers, I went ahead and just removed the poll.

At the moment, I'm on T-Mobile. They're quite expensive, though, so I might move over to Simple Mobile or metroPCS pretty soon. These two providers give excellent services, but for lower price.

I use Verizon. And the bill is always super high. xD Very expensive. But it's way better than past companies I used for phone service.

I use AT&T for now, and it's alright. Kinda not a fan of the $80 bill even if it's lower than usual due to a discount from my mom. I'd go with a cheaper carrier if I weren't lazy (though to be honest if phones weren't an essential, then I wouldn't even have a cell-phone at all.)

I'm on EE. Kinda forced my hand - they're the only carrier that provides any sort of service to my home, as they're a merger of Orange and T-Mobile (previously I could've had a choice of two providers!:P) . Plus, when getting an iPhone 5C I wanted to be able to use 4G, and they had the biggest network - actually a city in my home county, as well as where I'm at uni.

I have Sprint, and I have a very volatile love-hate relationship with Sprint. Unlimited data is great, but coverage around where I live is awful. There have been times when I've been on the road, hours away from home and had better coverage than I do at home. Which is funny because I'm sandwiched between Ohio's three biggest cities.

I have Telus. I pay 63,50$/mo and get:

- Unlimited Text & Picture/Video Messaging
- My10 National Numbers (Unl. Incoming/Outgoing)
- 1GB Bandwidth per Month
- Unlimited Local Nights (6pm-7am) and Weekends
- 200 Extra Local Minutes
- 100 Extra Long-Distance Minutes

They credit me 20$/mo for Call Display (not included in this plan; it's grandfathered, too) and the extra long-distance minutes out of loyalty.

That said,

I work for Bell so I should promote Bell services lol Go Bell(?)!

I have Tracfone because I'm horrifically poor. My family used to have Verizon, but we weren't getting the service that we were paying for. Tracfone works better for us because we don't use a lot of minutes/data, so we only renew once a year for the same price we were paying Verizon once a month.
