Easy Decisions to Make

Storm listened intently as Lucy explained the situation, making sure to keep a trotting pace. "...The first thing we need to do is find out where The Bane of Arceus is and what they're up to. I don't think anyone in Children's City really knew much about that, but I have an idea of where to start looking now."

Excellent! It's always good to have a plan!

"Maybe for Humans like yourself. I don't need a plan."

When aren't you complaining about me being a human?

"When I'm in charge. If you let me take control more often, then things would be a lot more fun in here!"

That's what I'm worried about. When you take control, there's nothing 'fun' left to deal with.

"Just shut up and listen to the Prophet."

Lucy continued, "I bet at least someone in The Underground knows something about them. I remember there being an entrance not that far off.." "I have a feeling it's going to take a lot longer than one afternoon to find them and stop them, so if you want to get to know who you'll be fighting with now's probably the time... I hear it's best to be quiet unless you've got something to say in The Underground."

"The Underground...That sounds dangerous. Let's blow it up!"

Dammit, Blitz, we AREN'T blowing anything up!

"You're no fun, you know?"

This is going to take a long time, Blitz. You heard Lucy. More than an afternoon. We need as many people as we can to help us! And if you kill them all, there will be no one left to help!
Storm let loose a habitual groan, before realizing what he did. "Eheh...Sorry. Arguing." He looked around the group in apology. See! You made me look like an idiot!

"You did that yourself."

Shut up!

Suddenly an explosion rocked in the distance. The Oriana girl immediately decided she needed to go, and the kid with the abnormally loud backpack volunteered to go with her.

"Storm, go with them!"

We can't. We'll have to fight. We can't fight yet!

"Yes we can! We can demolish the enemy!"

And you might also demolish our friends! We're going with Lucy!
Storm looked the said Lucy and grinned. "I'm no explosives master...But that sounded pretty big. Big means powerful. I'm afraid I can't fight against someone like that." He laughed quietly. "I think I might be better with talking...So...I'm going with you to the Underground."

Collette – Children’s City

Collette’s eyes carefully watched every last movement the boy made. If he were to make a single threatening action, she would retaliate as quickly as she could. However, the kid seemed to be just as focused on her as she was on him. He had turned his entire body to face her and was seemingly scanning her, or something of the like. Although, it wasn’t long before he started to move himself away. His movements were slow and random, due to him keeping his complete attention on her. Neither of them spoke, they just stared at each other. After a matter of seconds the boy had completely disappeared from view.

I still think you should’ve killed him…” The Mawile said, disappointed by the lack of any ‘real’ conflict. Collette outright ignored her comment, instead posing a question to Proxy. “How do you think he got all that blood on his shirt?”

He most likely salva-” As usual, Proxy was interrupted by Marceline before he could finish his answer.

It’s obviously the blood of his victims.” She of course chose the most unlikely reason for the stains. If he had the capacity to injure anyone, the boy would’ve at least tried retaliating once she had gotten her jaws around his neck. But no, Marceline chose to assume that the frail child was actually a mass murderer in disguise… Collette’s legs finally started moving her out of the damp alleyway. Why she thought that’d be the perfect place to sleep, Collette will never know.
________________________________

You’re a real idiot, y’know… You let a defenseless potential mass-murderer run away with a bag filled with stuff, all because you didn't want to attack him.” Over the brief couple of minutes, Marceline had made it her mission to berate Collette for her previous actions. Collette was busy walking down an empty street, doing absolutely nothing. A light breeze brushed her hair, causing it to sway slightly. This could’ve been quite peaceful, were it not for the voice constantly shouting in her head. “Just shut up already.” She moaned, hoping that for once the Mawile would shut up when asked.

KRABOOM!!!

The explosion completely silenced every thought running through Collette’s mind. She immediately turned towards where the sound of the blast was strongest, keeping her eyes on the look out for any signs of the explosion. “That doesn’t sound good.” Collette thought, before returning to silence. It appeared to have happened somewhere distant, as she was unable to see any damage from where she stood. Although, that means that whatever made the explosion was probably very powerful.

After a couple of seconds of waiting for any input from her spirits, Collette’s curiosity got the better of her. “Should I go take a closer look at the explosion?”

Why would you need to? All you’d be doing is putting yourself in harm’s way for no reason.” Silence followed Proxy’s answer. He made a very valid point, what would she be gaining from going to a potentially dangerous spot? Nothing. And yet, she still felt compelled to take a look at what was going on, even if she had the possibility of getting injured. However, before she could reply to Proxy, Marceline proposed something.

You know… Where there are explosions there’s bound to be dead people. And where there are dead people there’s bound to be free stuff. We should go to the explosion, and salvage what we can from it.” She suggested, having put more thought than usual into her reasoning. The Mawile had actually come up with a valid reason for them to at least check out the blast site. “That’s… not a bad idea.” Collette complimented, although Proxy didn’t share her sentiment.

One problem… Whoever caused that explosion is probably still around that area. And I doubt they’d hesitate in attacking us.” Proxy responded, confident that if they were to go, it’d either be a death wish or a waste of time. However, Marceline’s plan wouldn’t be beaten that easily. After another brief period of silence, the Mawile had come up with a solution to that issue.

We could use that boy’s appearance as a disguise. After all, spirit wielders and adults have nothing to gain from attacking a frail boy like him.” Since when did Marceline actually have decent ideas? Collette immediately accepted her plan, turning back to her normal form and fusing with Proxy. Pink goo began to excrete from her skin, editing her appearance to match the frail body of the boy from earlier. After roughly half a minute, Collette looked exactly like the 10 year old boy (sans his backpack).

As soon as this was done, Collette began to run in the direction that the blast came from.

'Prophet' Lucy- ...

Angst Abound
Lucy seemed less than thrilled. "Well, there's no point in splitting up..." she remarked in an equally thrilled tone. "We'll never get anything done that way... I just hope we aren't wasting our time." she went on to explain, already beginning to move. "I guess The Underground isn't going anywhere, though. I don't think even the destructive force that destroyed Eterna could destroy -that- in one go." she added thoughtfuly, beckoning the others to follow her as she hurried to catch up with Collette. "Come on! Let's get this over with." the large girl called out encouragingly.

Harry Tyler

Childrens City: Where a choice has to be made.

Luke had been keeping company with Harry during their short walk. A short while later some kind of explosion happened which which made the whole group turn back. That girl Oriana decided to go and examine some bodies over there while some thin, weedy, half starved kid who nobody had seen before decided to follow her.

"What do you think about that?" Luke asked.

"Just a minor explosion. Might have something to do with the Bane of Arceus. Would suggest not go there as whoever caused the explosion will probably still be there." Harry murmured. Luke decided to stop asking questions. He had heard what Lucy had said. Both of them and the rest of the party just walked straight on.

A city of low population, a clothing shop and a thirteen year old who can't keep track of time, Emily was trying on clothes in Lumiose City's boutique, way off in the Kalos region. Most of the population had moved to more agricultural areas of the region, so Lumiose was rather bare and Emily had otherwise free reign. Sometimes kids came along or she passed them by, and Emily brought them with her to Mt Coronet so they could get their own Pokémon spirit. They either came back, or stayed in Sinnoh. Sometimes she took Lucy to the regions she'd been to, but with her being some kind of savior it wasn't easy getting time together.

Enjoying herself as she put on and took off hats and tried on the clothes the boutique had to offer in her size, Em. started thinking more about Lucy. She was planning on doing something today... something about Arceus' Bane. For a moment, she let the thoughts slide. Ketsu, her Pokémon spirit, had slipped through Arceus' watch; Hailey would have probably made the same slip-up. Emily didn't have personal survival to worry about. That might have been a good enough reason to stay out of the way a year or two ago, but she had friends now. Lucy was her adopted big sister and Amy her junior, and Lucy's misfit troupe had been a family despite all the problems her Pokémon spirit caused. They wouldn't have been exempt.

So help she was to do, starting with following Lucy in her quest to save the world. Maybe they could bring Amy around the world with them when everything was finished. They could use some theme music, too. Em. blinked once, and saw the boutique; she blinked again, and she was in the air, mere feet away from her sister. Then she fell on her.

"Hey, Lucy.~"

At least she didn't end up in her stomach again.

Obys - End of Days

A dark shadow envelops the cavern lit only by the dim glow from the ceiling cracks from where parts of the cavern fell. Peculiar puddles circulate the rooms floor in an organised pattern, edged into squares and dots in some peculiar language Obys found no interest in deciphering. He steps into one of them, and the room echoed like a mellow cry as it circulates his ears, an eerie ripple through the air. Another crack. Obys failed to notice.

The cavern was smaller than he predicted and was quite simply a boxed room with a roof and puddles. No stone was in sight. He clenched his fist at the sight, he couldn’t bear his theory being wrong. His dark hands begin to stretch from their place at his back, slowly surrounding his body in a sort of oval like shape. A dark energy starts to circulate his body spiralling dark energy which forces the arms into growing in size.

He releases his arms and suddenly a dark energy is exerted from his body, his expression blank, his eyes dim. He had no clue what to do, and he hated it. He hated not having a plan, he hated being wrong. A spiral of clouds form above the sky from the centre of the lake, and ever so quickly do they expand so that in a mere 30 seconds the clouds had probably reached Oreburgh city. The sky goes dark, and the rain begins to fall.

Obys looks over the now clean lake, a small price to pay for death, besides it wouldn’t be clean after the rain fell. It was light rain right now, acid rain, but he could already see the effects with every drop. It was like pesticide, as it didn’t affect his skin at all, but every drop caused a reaction on the grass and leaves of the trees, turning them a dark black colour so that holes were formed where the leaves had decomposed. A boasting display of power he thought, and all of this would cause the world to suffer dearly. Cannibalism will be the only way to survive. Why hadn't anyone done this before?

'Prophet' Lucy- ...

Insight
Lucy's ears perked up as Emily teleported above her. She had just enough time to brace herself as Emily dropped onto her, reaching to catch Amy in her arms as she was inevitably violently knocked off her shoulder. She then totally just... catches Emily on her shoulders and looks back to see who the offender is before resuming walking as if entirely unfazed.

"Glad you could join us, Em..." she remarked light-heartedly to the girl she was now carrying upon her shoulders, Amy in her arms until/if the small wielder chose to hop down. If the weight strained her, it didn't really show. The super strength from her pokespirits really came in handy, as did her amazing stamina. Hard work really wasn't her thing, but she'd known the two far too long to let either of them down~

"We're checking out the source of a big boom not far off. If I'm hearing things correctly, it was at a lake." she explained, glancing over her shoulder to make sure everyone was with her. "Amethyst was just saying she thought it might be..." Lucy started, cutting off rather abruptly. Her audino ears twitched at the sound of voices nobody else could hear, one familiar and one not so much. "That's--..." Lucy began, cutting off again and tensing. "I hear something!" she blurted out before getting a better hold on either of the two girls remaining upon her and doing her best to sprint forward whilst carrying them both. The sky darkened and Lucy slowed to a stop near a clean lake.

Honestly thinking little of this she looked around searchingly, spotting a familiar lopunny spirit wielder nearby and... someone she didn't recognize. Rain began to fall; at first Lucy didn't think anything of this until the sound of suffering began flooding her ears. It wasn't quite human. "...Something's wrong. This rain isn't normal. It's... /poisonous/." she remarked, baffled by this turn of events. "Don't let it get in your eyes or your mouth! We should get in and out of here fast!" she called out, turning her gaze back on Lozel.

"Hey! What're you doing..?" she proceeded to call out, moving over to the unusually well nourished girl.

Madison Campbell

Stepping in - Children's City

As a loud explosion sounded from afar, Madison immediately turned her head in that direction. "What was that...?" She whispered to herself, actually asking Airi and Levi about it. "I have no idea but it's best you stay away from there." Airi replied. "What are you saying?! She should go to check out what's happening! What if it's something really interesting?" Levi fiercely disagreed. Madison held one hand against the side of her head and sighed. "You guys give me a headache... unless it's about books I'm sure it's not that interesting." Madison said. "Awww! Joy killer..."

Madison missed a lot from what was happening around her and noticed that Lucy choosed to leave to check out what that explosion was. Madison decided to follow together with a few others from the group. "Yaay~" Levi felt victorious. Madison felt uncomfortable as some of Lucy's followers seemed like to have a slightly dark aura around them. Madison took out another Ganlon berry and eat it unnoticeable. Before she found these berries this morning, it had been days since she actually had some decent food. As far you could call it decent for humans... Madison kinda liked the taste nonetheless.

"Maybe we can go back for more..." Madison spoke quietly to her spirit Pokémon. "Yeah, and then get caught for stealing... what a great idea." Airi's sarcasm seemed irritate Levi as he was making weird noises, he didn't say anything though, could it be that those two agreed for once?

Rain began to fall upon them as they neared a lake. This rain didn't seem quite normal though and Lucy was the first to notice. "...Something's wrong. This rain isn't normal. It's... /poisonous/." She remarked. "Don't let it get in your eyes or your mouth! We should get in and out of here fast!" Lucy told the group of followers including the red-haired Arcanine and Luxray wielder. Madison held a hand above her eyes to keep the poison from blinding her.

It's Raining Poison! Hallelujah!

Storm grimaced when Lucy decided that they shouldn't split up. I can't go! I might have to fight!

"YES! YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES!"

Shut up! This is serious! You and I both know I hate fighting!

"Well I'd hate to break it to you kid, but you signed up for a war. War means fighting. You're gonna have to get used to it."

Storm sighed and nodded to himself. I guess so...I'll fight...But only as much as necessary. He gripped the two ends of his bandanna and tugged them a bit tighter. He was about to make a comment about going to the being a good idea, but a strange rain began to fell. Curious...This stuff is thicker than rain... He felt the drops hit his skin repeatedly. Wait a second... He noticed the strange smell to it.

"...Something's wrong. This rain isn't normal. It's... /poisonous/."

No! He quickly took the bandanna tied around his neck and moved it above his mouth. It was tight enough to stop anything from coming in, and loose enough to be breathable. He looked around at the small group and began to think. Come on! Come on! What do we do?! What do we do?! He began to search the surrounding landscape for signs of cover. Storm called out to the group, "We have to get out of the rain! Find shelter!" He removed the bandanna from his hair and felt it flop onto his hair in an unkempt manner. "If anyone needs a bandanna, take this one!" He held out his hand, waiting for the response.

Collette – Lake ???

Collette’s frail legs began to tire. Running all the way from Children’s City to wherever the explosion happened wasn’t exactly easy in her now thin form and she was half-tempted to turn back to normal. But she quickly reminded herself why she was in his appearance anyway. Safety from other spirit wielders and cannibals. “Are you sure it was this way?” Collette asked, heavily breathing as she pushed one hand against a nearby tree. Her eyes wandered down the road, hoping to find a crater or dead body or anything. Unfortunately, it appeared to be a completely empty road. “Uh… Yeah, I’m certain.” Unsurprisingly, the sound of uncertainty ringed through Marceline’s voice.

As she got closer to her estimated destination, Collette began to notice something forming in the skies above her. “Those clouds weren’t there a minute ago…” She mentioned, watching as they continued to spread outwards. After a couple more seconds of all out running, rain started to drop from the sky. At first, the rain didn’t bother her in the slightest. But when she noticed something strange happening to the plants around her, Collette immediately shut her mouth. Any droplets which hit the plants seemingly tainted them, turning the leaves and other greenery black.

That rain appears to be poisonous to plant life, but I’m not sure if it has any effects on you.” Proxy stated while Collette stopped in her tracks. In front of her was where Marceline had determined the site of the explosion, some lake. Unfortunately, she wasn’t the only one there. “Damnit.” She muttered, hopping behind a fallen log. “It seems you weren’t the only one with an idea like this, Marceline.” Collette immediately began watching the people. There was a lot of them, but they all seemed preoccupied with whatever was happening at the lakeside. But Collette decided to be cautious anyway and held the Kid’s appearance for a little bit longer, just in case one of them approached her.

Acid Rain.

Harry was surprised when Lucy announced that they would be checking out the lake. Grumbling that he was wrong.

He and the party then headed towards the lake. It started raining all of a sudden. Lucy shouted saying that the rain was poisonous. Harry quickly covered himself with the metal armor and covered his eyes just to be safe.

'Prophet' Lucy- ...

Outsight
Nothing!!

Unacceptable!!

Kalos...

...wimp

You didn’t get what you wanted, so you just burned everything.

You won’t be supreme for long, Lucy is still much more powerful than you!

I can respect that.

Lucy grimaced, her brain catching up to and sorting through all the things she'd heard with her super ears. Lozel seemed to notice the group approaching, her long floppy ears raising slightly. She turned and shifted into a pose more appropriate for combat, addressing a boy who seemed to be missing his lower half in favor of floating with a ghostly tail coming out of his torso. "It looks to me like you're about to get a chance to find out personally." the lopunny wielder warned before abruptly bouncing high into the air and coming down hard and fast towards aforementioned boy.

The boy seemed to take the blow with relative grace and a grunt, pulling back slightly and backhanding Lozel onto her backside. "...This again." he remarked, rather apathetic. His hand came up and he struck Lozel as she tried to hop back to her feet with a powerful brick break, sending the girl right back onto her rear. Lozels ears went limp and she began to shake involuntarily as she struggled and failed to push herself back to her feet. The boy raised his hand...

Lucy was already in action, quickly shedding Emily and Amethyst back onto their own two feet before darting forward in full sprint. Reaching out, a pink ball of energy formed in Lucy's palm and she proceeded to whip the condensed ball at Lozel, keeping relative pace with it as it was immediately absorbed into the fallen girl's body. It had been heal pulse. Wounds healed in the span of seconds and Lozel's gaze traveled up Lucy's legs as they were planted firmly between her and the oncoming blow.

...She quietly observed the fluffy pink ball of a tail; Somehow it hadn't occurred to her that they both shared this feature.

Lucy spread her arms, weaving a transparent wall of light in an attempt to protect herself. She didn't realize the mistake she'd made until the boy's hand shattered the wall in one blow, cleaving straight through with a loud bang and going on to strike Lucy's shoulder. The blow was terrible and one could just see Lucy's stance weaken as it nearly caused her legs to give out under her. They did not however and she stared the boy down in spite of her newly developed wound, raising her opposite arm and generating a brightly glowing crystalline shield.

The boy seemed startled by Lucy's intervention and oddly enough... immediately backed off despite the serious hit he'd just gotten in. He floated backwards and vanished into thin air as if he'd never been there to begin with, perhaps recognizing that there were at least half a dozen people behind Lucy and not wanting any part of that.

Lozel got to her feet, taking full advantage of her no-longer-broken leg. Lucy seemed to notice this and allowed herself to suddenly relax. She hissed slightly, grabbing at the shoulder that had taken the blow. That had hurt! In fact, it had hurt a /lot/! A mistake right off the bat had been a pretty unideal situation.

She turned to address Lozel and reached out with the arm that had just taken all that abuse and offered Lozel her hand, a knowing look in her eyes. "...I want you to come with us and get out of here. We need to talk." she stated in a soft yet firm tone.

...Lozel slowly reached out and took her hand and Lucy turned to flee the immediate manner. "Let's go! We can talk about what we just saw later!" she called out, glancing back at the now polluted lake before running off.

'Prophet' Lucy- ...

It's time for the talk.
...

Lucy would flee back in the general direction they'd come from with Lozel now in tow. The storm seemed to be chasing them however, expanding as if intending to consume the entire region. Thus, Lucy did not stop until they came across a large hole in a hillside leading down into the earth. Darkness dwelt within, and an eerie sensation of being watched built within the gut of anyone peering into this abyss. Lucy quickly descended. "This way! This is an entrance to the underground." she instructed, only stopping to rest once they had the roof of the earth between them and the poisonous rain.

Lucy would finally let go of Lozel's hand, turning to address the group. "...Is everyone alright? Are any of you feeling ill?" she asked rather quietly, somewhat concerned. "We shouldn't go any further until we're all taken care of. I don't think anyone in here is going to have any pity for us." she explained, taking a long look at Amethyst in a thoughtful manner. She was, of course, worrying about the little one. This was no place for pre-teens.

"And... miss?" Lucy added, her gaze shifting to Lozel. "I heard some of what you and him said back there... I want to know what that was all about, and why it's killing the only remaining food source for most people." she explained rather calmly. She didn't even seem to be demanding in tone, despite the urgency of the situation. "And maybe what I can call you, while we're at it." she quickly added, this time forgoing professionalism to sneak a bit of friendliness into her tone. Whatever she'd heard, she apparently liked it.

Lozel glanced across at Lucy who had been kind to her and cared for her wounds after she had fallen. A variety of questions were raised but she decided it best to explain everything instead of answering individually. There was no mystery to be had anymore. She sighed as she thought about her fruitless battle. Although obys was certainly surprised by the company of someone of equal strength, he seemed to be teasing her, knowing full well he wasn't doing his best in combat.

"For starters thank you." She sighed again as she looked at her own sorrow state.

"If you must know, Obys was informing me of some breakthrough he had, he was teasing me in some ways. He said a variety of the cult were migrating to Kalos, although I'm uncertain how they plan for that." She looked up a minute and let everyone catch up.

"In other words, I need to get to Kalos and s-save Obys..." He voice cracked and shivered and her eyes began to swell up. She could tell the common question would be why and how, but she refrained from telling them everything, to her it wasn't necessary and she hoped her fellow comrades would accept that.

"If you want to take down the cult take me to kalos with you, make them understand their fight is in Sinnoh so they don't migrate a full army down their. Please help me Lucy..."

She gave Amethyst a long, silent look. She had moved on to help one of the others, though she knew what that look meant. It made her feel better about the eerily creepy place they'd moved on to.

Seeing as Lucy was taking care of the other girl, she approached the rest of their group. "If you're not feeling very good, please come closer to me." She blinked her eyes, and both of them became a bright, glowing blue. A red spike-like object spanned out from her chest, and a white dress formed under her current dress, only this one flowing down to her feet. She closed her eyes and let a Heal Pulse spread around her, with the intent to heal any illness or injury to anyone who would step forward.

John Doe and Oriana
Sinnoh Route 208 to Lake Verity: The Sun Lifter's Apprentice

"You?" Oriana asked confused, "But you're so small and frail looking." She looked him over, "Tiny and breakable looking." She wondered if he could even dig a hole.

If he is willing to go with us, he must want to see you an action. Blaziken said, Why else would such a wimpy boy offer to join us?

Like an apprentice? He could watch and admire me while I fight! Oriana nodded her head and smiled with excitement, "Ok smalls, you and me can take on the big explosion. I hope you learn from me like I learned from Spark!" She was ready to go at that moment, anybody who joined her would be just stealing her thunder.

John wondered about this girl. After saying redundancies she decided that he is now her apprentice. However, she seemed fun and having a teacher might not be that bad an idea. Maybe she'd even be able to teach him how to control Wrath! Oh wait... he'd probably end up trying to kill her if he fused anywhere near her, and now he especially didn't want to kill her. While her words had initially brought a smile to his face, his thoughts quickly manipulated it into a sad frown followed by a sigh.

He realized that this reaction might make her worried about him, which in turn would make her keep a closer eye on him, so he tried to smile once again. However, he was still a novice at the art of fake smiles and didn't exactly do a good job. "I'd like that," he said softly as opposed to the enthusiastic way he'd shouted after her. "Oh, and you can call me Corpse." Faking emotions was really hard work, so John quickly returned to the blank expression he usually wore and started walking.

"Corpse?" Oriana repeated, "I don't like it, I bury too many of those all the time." She shook her head, "That kind of name sounds like you are already dead. Why not call yourself something awesome like The Sun!" She cycled through names in her head, though she wasn't sure what his spirit was, so she couldn't think of a good name for him.

John didn't respond and simply continued walking. He thought about Oriana's habit of burying corpses. John hadn't buried a single one, even those of his parents. Why hadn't he though? He thought it was because there wasn't a reason to, but it would keep others from eating them. Time wouldn't exactly be an issue because Wrath could take care of any potential predators. Although, he wasn't strong enough to bury a corpse on his own and he'd probably try to eat them if he was fused with Wrath.

He stared down pensively, reflecting over it before he decided to change the subject in his mind. Was the name "The Sun" really better than the name "Corpse"? The sun gave life and warmth, but it was really just a big burning ball of gas. Was there anyone who could really relate to either of those things? Maybe a mother who was a fire spirit wielder, or a kind healer. But Corpse related to everyone. According to his mother, at least. Besides that, it was pretty much synonymous with his actual name.

John looked up at Oriana and was about to say, "I like Corpse better," but relented. Instead, he faced forward again and continued in silence. He couldn't be making friends, especially when he planned to just leave. It would be even worse if someone ended up getting attached to him to the point of wanting to go with him. Then he wouldn't be able to fuse at all and they would both die. He groaned internally, wondering how some villains in books could pull off fake emotions so easily. That would make his situation much easier.

"Well it makes ya sound dead, which would be a real shame." Oriana pulled her knife out and began opening and closing it. "Does that look like rain?" She said suddenly, looking up at the sky. A droplet fell on her forhead and she could feel how different it was. "Hey Sun, any idea about this rain? I feel like it ain't natural at all."

John was surprised to see it suddenly raining, but it was indeed more than rain. It seemed to... sting a little, even, as it sat on his skin long enough. Distracted by the strange rain, he momentarily forgot his vow of silence and even the fact that he had just been called "Sun" and spoke. "It feels more like a pokespirit attack than normal rain to me." Although as uncomfortable as it was, it wasn't really more than a minor disturbance. His trained ears caught onto something else, though, that was more than that. A big problem. He turned to see that Lucy and the rest of the group had decided to follow. Farther behind, probably avoiding contact with the main group, he noticed something even stranger.

Is that... me?! Indeed, he saw a copy of himself walking behind, out of the group's sight. Who would do such a thing? Who could? He was aware of a Pokemon once known as "Ditto" that had such a power, but he didn't know anyone who wielded one. A quick head count revealed it was someone outside the group, though. As mysterious as this was, though, the bigger problem was Lucy's group. Their presence made it impossible to sneak away. He sighed. It seemed he would be staying with the main group a little longer...

Suddenly, things started happening extremely quickly. They arrived at the lake to find only a ghostly-looking boy locked in one-sided combat with the rabbit girl from before with him being the one side winning. Lucy intervened before what would have been a death blow for the girl only to he struck herself. Then, for no reason, the boy seemed to vanish. It was all very strange and made little sense. One thing that John managed to gather was that if this was indeed like certain stories then that would mean that this boy was the "big bad" of the tale. Powerful and enigmatic whose motives and possibly past would be revealed over the course of the story. Either that, or he was the big bad's second in command, meant to look like the big bad until he is defeated, at which point the true big bad reveals himself. Either way, he meant trouble for Lucy and the group, which (hopefully not much longer) also meant him.

With another sigh, John motioned to rejoin the group. He wasn't very eager to become involved any further, because eventually in these stories everyone would have to fight, and if he had to fight then everyone would die, or he would die. And that would be no good. However, a more childish part of him deep down was excited to be going on a novel adventure of his own for once.

They walked on and eventually found the entrance to what he assumed was The Underground. The young girl who was supposedly Lucy's adopted daughter offered to heal anyone, but it didn't really seem like anyone besides the bunny girl and Lucy herself needed any healing. He looked for Oriana for a moment wondering if she needed any help since it was entirely possible that someone as battle-hungry as her was in a fight before the group set off on their journey and was wounded. It didn't seem like too much of a stretch to assume that she would stoicly hide the wound. Or even that she would just not even realize she had sustained any.

Oriana had ignored the boy's motion, intent on getting to the village. She had neglected to follow the group into the cave, "If you guys want to hide from a little rain, then fine!" She yelled, continuing on. The rain was not even touching her anymore, as she was burning hot enough that the droplets turned to steam when they got near. "Stupid aprentice, shoulda just stayed with me." She mumbled walking on. "I could just kill whoever caused the explosion myself, then whoever started this rain, and then whoever was at that lake." She was significantly annoyed, and was also feeling a bit odd.

Collette – Lake ??? --> The Underground

It didn’t take long for a battle to break out between the two standing closest to the lake. Their fight started with the female leaping high into the air and quickly smashing herself into the boy. He took the blow fairly well, back-handing the bunny girl straight onto the ground. The boy immediately struck the girl, although his attack appeared to be much more powerful than his earlier slap. Just before being able to finish her off, someone else stood over the downed bunny and created a shining wall of light. However, this was immediately shattered by the boy’s strike, landing a solid hit on the newcomer’s shoulder. As soon as his blow had landed, Marceline made a quick bet. “I bet an hour that that girl wins.” Occasionally, Marceline/Collette would make a wager with one another (Proxy’s rarely involved). Their usual agreement is if Collette wins the bet, Marceline would remain silent for a predetermined amount of time, speaking only when absolutely necessary. However, due to both Marceline never winning a bet, and Collette assuming that it’d be something like ‘Listen to Marceline’s instructions for a predetermined hour/month/second,’ she doesn’t actually know what the Mawile would be wanting to take.

“You’re on.” Collette mentally replied, watching as the girl put up a second, seemingly stronger barrier. Disappointingly, the fight ended nearly immediately after the bet was finalised. The boy vanished into thin air, while the girl started chatting with the bunny girl. “What was that?” Marceline whined, confused by the sudden ending of the fight. As she was also disappointed by the lack of a proper battle, Collette replied with a sigh. “... I guess neither of us wins.” After a brief moment of silence, the sound of fleeing footsteps filled the air. Collette rapidly shifted her frail body around the log, making sure that she continued to remain out of sight. She was getting sick of the thing, but managed to convince herself to keep in this disguise for the time being.

As Lucy’s small army ran past, Collette noticed that they were certainly an odd bunch. One boy wore a strange assortment of yellow clothing, while another wore an open jacket, presumably to show his physique off to the entire world. Why anyone would prominently display so much skin was beyond her. Aside from those two, there appeared to be an armoured dude, a girl with a completely bizarre and seemingly random appearance, a girl who looked no older than 9, a girl who’s hair colour was a dark pink and a girl who looked much plainer than everyone else. There were a few others with the group, including what looked like a small boy, but she failed to get a good look at any of them.

After the group were out of her sight, Collette stood up and scanned the lake in front of her. Unfortunately, there didn’t appear to be any dead people to loot from /eat. “So... This was a waste of time after all.” She muttered, as the peculiar rain continued to bucket down. It’s not like she learnt anything from this journey either. However, in an attempt to justify her plan, Marceline immediately responded. But she didn’t exactly know what to say. “Nuh-uh. We could... uh... uh...” As Marceline started to mumble away, Collette began to look at the clouds above her. “That rain is not natural... And the clouds appeared to have formed from somewhere near here.” Proxy stated as Collette lowered her head.

“[I]You should head back to Children’s City before this rain starts to get worse.[I]” He continued. Or he would have, if it weren’t for Marceline finally figuring out the ‘solution’ to their dilemma. “[B]We should... We should follow and join that group in this kids appearance, then attack them all while they’re not expecting us to.[B]” The Mawile sounded quite proud of this plan. In fact, she figured that this was her best plan yet. It was flawless, perfect, the greatest idea ever formed, etc. Of course, she didn’t exactly give a reason for attacking the group, but that only made the plan even better (in her mind).

On a normal day, Collette would’ve dismissed Marceline’s plan. But today wasn’t exactly a normal day. She didn’t want to go back empty handed, and taking the food supply of the small army ahead would provide her with enough food to last a life time. So, whether it was because of the strange rain affecting her thinking, or some hidden faith in Marceline, Collette decided to go a long with it. “If this stupid plan fails you’ll regret it.” She threatened, accepting Marceline’s plan. Utter glee spewed out of the Mawile’s mouth while a surprised Proxy returned to silence.

---------------------

While following the trail of footprints left behind by her ‘prey,’ Collette was starting to worry about the spreading rainclouds. Why and how they were formed was beyond her, but their increasing speed helped confirm her worry. “You don’t think they’ll spread across the entire region, do you?” She asked to no response. Her feet stopped where the trail ended, a large hole. “The Underground... Not the safest place in the world.” Proxy stated, ending his rather lengthy silence. She didn’t have much experience with Sinnoh’s underground, but she had heard a lot of stories about the place. About how it was filled with thieves and murderers. About how expansive and labyrinth-like it was. “Perhaps you should head back to Children’s City. There’s no telling what would happen to you down there.” He continued, hoping that she wasn’t actually going to go through with it.“...Yeah. I guess you’re right.” Collette answered, turning her back on the hole.

When she saw that Collette was going to abandon the greatest plan known to Sinnoh, Marceline decided to take action. “You are sticking to this plan whether you want to or not.” The Mawile aggressively shouted. Feeling betrayed by their lack of confidence in her plan, Marceline ensured that they’d be going through with it. All of a sudden, Collette felt her left leg go completely numb. She was unable to move it at all, but something else could. Her foot dragged the rest of her body back to the edge of the pit as she tried to regain control of it. Something like this hadn’t happened in a long time. As she felt it hang over the edge, Collette gave up on the leg. “You little b-”

Her back quickly hit the rocky ground below. Having to use all of her energy just to maintain the form she was in, Collette closed her eyes and lay still for a while. Eventually, she let out a short groan of pain.

'Prophet' Lucy - The Underground (Entrance)

...
Lucy watched stoicly as Lozel explained herself. The somewhat pudgy girl nodded softly at the other's words in thought, her brows creasing somewhat as the other went on. Something was obviously bothering her about what was being said, but she decidedly let Lozel finish before speaking. Rather than blurt something out however she first leaned in and traced two fingers over Lozel's cheek haphazardly, trying to figure out what exactly Lozel was still suffering from. She cringed as she did this; the other girl was probably poisoned. Judging by how much pain she was clearly already in she would be dead before sundown. Lucy knew then that a condition of this nature was too much for Amy to heal. Heal pulse could prolong the inevitable but would only be a temporary fix for a terminal illness.

Lozel needed something a bit more... potent.

"A moment..." she said quietly, not wishing to cause an echo in these deep caves; what she was about to do however would leave no choice in the matter. Her hand dropped and her bell shaped ears perked. The two twitched and the twinkling of tiny bells filled the air, supernatural tones reverberating strongly against the walls and piercing the bodies of all those present. The noise coursed through Lozel, eradicating toxins and restoring bodily integrity.

Meanwhile after a moment the stirring of some things deeper inside the cave system could be heard, distant and faint. Heal Bell hadn't really been painfully loud to listen to, but it carried across an alarmingly large distance within those walls. Lucy then proceeded to reach down and grasp Lozel's hand in her own, flexing her arm up to eye level and locking eyes and elbows with the other in a gesture of comradery. She now had a smile on her face, lite as it was.

"...Sounds to me like you belong with us. Agreed, 'my lady'~" she remarked somewhat coyly. This was not however disingenuous, rather a gesture of goodwill and good spirits. "Now it's time to be strong. Those that live down here will not be as ...forgiving as I am. I've only one question..." she continued, releasing the other.

"...Where is 'Kalos'?" she asked, slightly awkward in tone.

The Poison Rain!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The toxic cloud drifted it's way over everyone's head slowly but surely like a halo made of death and sin, snuffing out life and hope where it went. Everything it coated turned poisonous and when it evaporated even the air was deadly in it's place. Only poison type pokespirit wielders were spared it's wrath as getting very much exposure invariably wound up making one sick. To this end Children's City went out of their way to comission weather controlling wielders to keep it away, but they only succeeded in deflecting the storm rather than destroying it.

The Underground - Collette
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Collette lay within the cold earth she would likely become aware of movements within the relative darkness, the sound of human feat skittering across stone and dirt nearby. ...She was no longer alone. After several moments a boy's voice spoke up.

"...Well! It looks like you've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?~" he asked mockingly, for it was he whom was the terrible fate. As he closed in on Collette she would be able to see gem-like eyes glowing slightly in the darkness and a grin stretching from ear to ear looking down at her. He was not merely one however. A second larger cheshire grin joined the first, this time paired with more normal yet malice-filled eyes. Then a third, this time in the form of a large zipper visible only ever so slightly in the almost complete darkness.

The three swarmed Collette quickly, beginning to search her with absolutely no respect for her personal space. Everything but the clothes that bound her were up for grab and it would be an understatement to say they weren't gentle either.

"What brings a pretty girl like you to the bottom of a rock like this..?" a second ghostly voice asked. His voice was like an echo without a source, soft and not entirely there as if he weren't completely anchored within this world.

'Prophet' Lucy - The Underground

Ghost Town
One brief explanation of what Kalos was later Lucy nodded in affirmation. "...Oh."

The distant voice of a girl accusing her of being afraid of the rain turned her head. She couldn't help but furrow her brows. As much as she herself could shrug off even the strongest toxins indefinitely, she couldn't help but question if Oriana would survive up there after seeing how Lozel had been afflicted.

It was a lot harder to keep poisonous rain out of your eyes, nose and mouth than it sounded.

"...As much as I hate to admit it, we're probably safer down here than in that rain. I can't just keep healing everyone if we're just going to inhale poison or something every hour or so and I don't know how long that storm's going to last." she explained in a lackluster tone, clearly not thrilled about the circumstances.

"...And my guess is that if we actually had to fight up there the rain would make any wound really difficult to survive." she continued. "At least down here we can defend ourselves if we need to." she finished, nodding in satisfaction with herself.

"...I wouldn't recommend that, though." she added after a moment. "This place is pretty nasty. Don't let anyone see any weakness and don't provoke anyone either, unless you want to provoke everyone. Just keep your head down and walk... And... Be prepared for the undead." she remarked rather ominously before beckoning the others deeper into the underground.

The dusty old tunnels were extremely dark, all light sources having vanished a long time ago. One of Lucy's hands rose and her fingers began to glow dimly, lighting the path ahead of them for several feet. In truth she was terrified; to say she was scared of ghosts would be a tad bit of an understatement. Her options for fighting them were extremely limited, almost non-existent! Lucy did a damn good job of pretending they weren't literally in Death's foyer however; she didn't want the others to be afraid. Bravery was a necessity and she for one was willing to bear the majority of that burden, perhaps because she feared no one else could.

"Rumor has it these caves stretch a really long ways, maybe even directly into this 'Kalos'." she explained quietly as she trailed slowly along. The corridors were built like mineshafts, complete with wooden support beams to prevent cave ins. They were very old however and some even looked rotten, but at least they were something!

Occasionally the sound of something moving in the distance would catch the ears, of rocks clattering against eachother as they rolled about and feet slapping against stone. Lucy seemed to be making a point to avoid these sounds; noteworthily when they came to an intersection she went out of her way to ignore and avoid the sound of a girl sobbing in the distance down the left path in favor of continuing straight on. A shiver subtly ran down her spine, but she knew better than to follow that voice.

Her ever so sensitive ears were picking up lies from it.

Collette - The Underground

A brief jolt of pain spread throughout Collette’s body. Thanks to her stupid Pokéspirit, she had fallen flat onto her back in some pit. Oh how she wished that Marceline had a body, so she could punch it straight in the face. But millions of angry thoughts would have to do for now. Her thoughts quickly became a garbled mess of anger, disappointment and violence, all aimed at Marceline. She attempted to shout back, but Collette easily overpowered any speaking that the Mawile did. Whilst she was shouting, Collette attempted to lift herself off onto her feet. However, she found herself unable to do so. Her mind briefly stopped shouting to ask Proxy a question. “Proxy,” She said, in a still angry tone. Lifting her body into a sitting position, Collette quickly scanned the area in front of her. (Un)Fortunately, she couldn’t see anyone near her. “Could you release this transformation for me? I’m... feeling kind of weak.”

Was it the rain that was causing her sudden lack of energy? She didn’t normally feel like this after being transformed for so long. As she briefly contemplated this, her fake body slowly turned into pink goo and retreated into her skin. It didn’t take long for the goo to completely disappear, leaving her normal body behind. “Thank you Proxy. Now, where was I?” Collette thought, giving Marceline a chance to prepare for the verbal beat down that was going to occur. “WH-” “WAIT!!!” Marceline shouted, interrupting Collette’s oncoming speech. “Someone’s coming...” Collette stared down the tunnel in front of her, trying to find any sign of other people. But she didn’t see a single person in the darkness. Marceline was probably just trying to distract her and weasel out of her yelling. “Nice try Marceline, but I’m not an idiot.” She stated, preparing her rant once more. “She isn’t lying

A tiny pebble skipped across the ground, stopping just in front of Collette’s feet. She reached over to pick it up, but stopped when she heard a voice. “...Well! It looks like you've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?~” The voice mocked. Collette quickly moved her eyes around the room, attempting to find the source of the sound. Almost immediately, a pair of diamonds appeared out of the darkness. Followed by an almost shining grin. It remained above her for a little while, just staring at her. A second grin appeared next to the first one, although this one was much larger and without the gem-like eyes. Then a third person appeared, although all she could see of them was a zip. Without hesitation, they swarmed her. Hands flew all around her, searching every pocket and hiding place on her person. The hands were cold and aggressive, although they had yet to injure her.

A second, almost otherworldly voice spoke up. “What brings a pretty girl like you to the bottom of a rock like this..?” The only thing she could pick up from this voice was that it was from a different person than the last. Collette wanted to stay silent, but words started falling out of her mouth. “Why would I make small talk with some low-life thieves?” She hypocritically asked, closing her mouth immediately afterwards. Her eyes began to glare at her three ‘attackers’, although they didn’t appear to take much notice of it. “So... Uh... I have an I-” The Mawile was interrupted with a very blunt “Shut up.” She wasn’t going to be listening to any of her stupid ideas for a while.

As the thieves began to finish up their thieving, Collette finally decided to make a move. She fused with Marceline and forced them away from her. Collette quickly hopped onto her feet, then raised her head up high, before smashing her second mouth down onto the rocky ground. Dirt, rocks and dust were all raised up into the air, creating an impromptu smokescreen. Even though she didn’t have much energy left, Collette decided to stay and fight. She began to wildly fling her second mouth around, hoping that they either back off, or are taken out.

Harry Tyler

An Unexpected Encounter

There was a burning sensation suddenly in Harry's eyes. "Dammit, it's got into my eyes." Covering them with his arms he ran around, not sure where he was going. He didn't want to be blind, that was for sure.

"You can't go if you don't use your eyes Harry."

Harry knew Arthur was right. Painfully, he opened his eyes and he could see everybody taking shelter in some type of a cave but with a blurry vision. He ran as fast as he could, ignoring the pain and with a triumphant roar, flung himself into the cave. He howled as his eyes kept burning and fell onto the ground.

Lucy swung her ears from side to side and the sound of bells began to echo throughout the cave. In a flash, Harry was better after feeling the toxins being sucked out from his eyes. It just felt like tears being sucked from your eyes. Harry felt much better and staggered up just to be welcomed by the glares of 'The Rebellion'. He just grunted and they turned away.

Lucy began to talk to the Lopunny girl ----- Lozel. After talking about some faraway land called Kalos they proceeded to head into the Underground. Just to quicken his pace, Harry fused with Arthur and no sooner had he done that then, the a putrid smell hit his nose. He paused dramatically while the others continued their walk. After a long pause he whispered softly to Luke, "Tell the others, I'm going outside to check something. Just go on, I'll be back within five minutes." Harry left a clearly puzzled Luke and ran to the entrance of the cave. As if by magic, he felt something or rather someone jump onto his back. He tried to move his neck and saw somebody who he had once thought dead, an extremely thin black haired guy with arms of steel.

Tim was somebody who lived with Harry when they were kids. When Harry had left or Mt. Coronet, Tim had begged to come with Harry but harry had refused to let him come. Tim was always the loser. When Harry had come back and destroyed the town, he had left Tim to die.

"Now, I never expected to see you M, Harry. You remember me? I'm gonna kill you now and then we'll see what will happen to you." Tim snarled.

Harry gave a half smile and laughed while talking, "You always stank. Anyway, there's a group of about ten just a few meters away and one shout will bring them here. Then we can be buried right next to each other."

"Shoot. I guess I ave to help you." he swore, helping Harry up in the process. "I'll come with you Tyler but we will face off once against."

"Right, come on we'll run to where they are. Harry shouted as both of them ran as fast as they could. While he reached the group, Harry explained what happened.

After being drawn to the odd place with the stone, T'rinity's life has never been the same... She hasn't been able to sleep, and she hears voices in her head. She'll find herself waking up looking differently and unable to control herself. She wasn't sure if she was going crazy... Perhaps she was.

"No, you're not going crazy. Arceus chose you." a voice in the back of her head echoed... She had three voices she heard. A light, child-like voice, who she calls "Baby Boy", a deep, fun-loving voice who she calls "Snowstorm", and a voice that is much too difficult to explain... It seems almost mystical. She has not decided what to call it yet...

"Okay, I have no idea who you are, or this Arceus is." T'rinity complained quietly to herself. The voices in her head seemed to never shut up... They taunted her, told her about what is going to happen, and so on... Perhaps she was going insane. But, all that aside, she was going on her daily walk to the markets. "Sticky Finger T'rinity", they called her. Of course, it was true, but, hey
they didn't have to mock her. Whilst she was walking down the dirty paths, she saw a certain item that caught her eye. Of course, it was food. She bolted to her left, towards the apples that she so desperatley wanted (As well as her stomach!). She bolted her hand towards the shiny, red apples, until she heard a sudden "shnghk" noise... She looked down towards her stomach, only to see red
blood trickling out of her stomach. A knife was thrown into her, and she began to stumble away. As her vision began to blacken, she heard a voice in her head;
"Oh, come on... Is that all you've got?!". She suddenly felt a burst of power, and saw herself change into a white, beastly creature. Before she knew it, she was running at full speed down the path, not
controlling herself. After about ten minutes of sprinting, she fell to the ground in exhaustion. She looked down at her stomach, only to see the white body of hers (If it even was hers anymore.) still oozing blood.

"Kid, I can't help anymore. I'm out." the same burly voice said, panting. Her strength she felt faded away slowly, until she returned to her normal self. She slowly began to black out, until she was fast asleep. (Open to be saved by someone! :p)

(I'd like to add as well that I haven't roleplayed in a long time-- I don't have very good skills atm. :p I'll work on it!)

Chapter One: Enter the Evil Overlord
(Off the shore of Canalave City, 7:45 PM)

“Finally.” Marvin studied the brilliant sunset outside. It was always the time he went to town and destroyed a couple things before heading home… and this was the last day of his normal attack cycle. “We should get going. It's almost seven, and we need to keep to our normal routine."

“And who exactly are you trying to impress?” The Dragonite gave off a mental sigh. “These people are afraid of you enough as it is without you obsessing over wearing the same suit, and attacking at the same time, and the same places.”

“I'm making an impression on my food. They fear me for my consistency. If I skip a beat, they’ll think I’m weak.” Marvin clenched a fist. “If I’m to hold the city under my grip, I have to first uphold my reputation. If I state that I’m going to be somewhere, I’ll be there. You did remember what I said last time, right?”

“I did, and I still don’t approve. Look how much this town has suffered under your hands.” The Dragonite pointed towards the shore they were flying to. “You’ve already taken your revenge. Why not just move on?”

“It’s more entertaining than having an existential debate with myself, over how I’m supposed to live my life.” Marvin landed on the shore, and found it was a part of town that he had attacked only the night before. “Besides, destroying things helps my mind wander, and lets me think more clearly afterwards.”

As he found some abandoned buildings, he gave off a sigh. “Anyhow, it’s the only life I’ve got now. Might as well make the most impact out of the time I’ve got.”

And he summoned the rain, as he usually did. Then came the massive flood from the beach that messed up the buildings. After that came the lightning and the winds that finished the job, and after that was done, a good two hours had passed and he had dome irreversible damage to the entire abandoned city block. Nobody got hurt this night, but he would need to eat soon… He was getting hungry, and he never went a cycle without getting something to devour.[/quote]

CHIPTIV — Amethyst — The Underground

"...As much as I hate to admit it, we're probably safer down here than in that rain. I can't just keep healing everyone if we're just going to inhale poison or something every hour or so and I don't know how long that storm's going to last... And my guess is that if we actually had to fight up there the rain would make any wound really difficult to survive. At least down here we can defend ourselves if we need to... I wouldn't recommend that, though. This place is pretty nasty. Don't let anyone see any weakness and don't provoke anyone either, unless you want to provoke everyone. Just keep your head down and walk... And... Be prepared for the undead."

Undead...?

You know, like... Zombies.

Zombies? Amethyst stuck close to Lucy, finding it necessary to grip the older girl's arm with both of her own.

"Rumor has it these caves stretch a really long ways, maybe even directly into this 'Kalos'."

Kalos?

I got nothin'.

Me neither.

"Undead..." The thought stuck Amy even closer, resting her head against Lucy's arm as she looked onward. "Zombies..." She reverted back to her own body, only to change again. Her eyes both turned red and fangs grew in each corner of her mouth. A red leaf-like tail sprouted out behind her and her overall appearance looked a little more threatening. Still, she clung to Lucy.

The Underground - Collette
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The three ghostly wielders started slightly at Collette's snapping, but her jaws understandably had... a bit of a hard time grasping them. Whether they were simply out of reach or their bodies ethereal wasn't entirely clear.

"Woah-ho-ho!" the sableye eye wielder remarked rather sarcasticly. The person whose mouth resembled a zipper suddenly began to glow with a ghostly aura, exposing it to be a rather androgynous girl wielding a banette. Her joints had seams not unlike a ball-jointed doll and her dress was filthy much like the rest of her. Her eyes flashed and suddenly Collette would find that her second mouth was sealed shut by an unknown power, the muscles refusing to respond to her brain. It was disable. The other ambiguous spirit wielder opened his large mouth and a comically large tongue shot out, smacking Collette rather harshly. It was far from just a gross, slimy tongue however. It seemed to have an anesthetic effect, sending a very uncomfortable pins and needles sensation across her body where it struck. The feeling would spread throughout her quickly, leaving her feeling empty and short on breath. She was suddenly entirely numb, making movement even more difficult as a supernatural sensation of freezing cold settled over her. It had been a lick attack; while not overtly deadly, it was incredibly unpleasant and had an exhausting and paralyzing effect. The sableye spirit wielder quickly followed up with a night shade attack and Collette's sense of reality began to warp around her, the figures deforming into eldritch abomination as even her mind began betraying her. It was coordinated and vicious offense intended to cripple her as hard as possible as quickly as possible; heavily outnumbered, few would've even stood a chance.

A very sharp pain in her head began rapidly escalating and a ghostly echo of a voice emanated from the banette wielder's presence, not quite coming from her sealed mouth.

"Now we lay you down to sleep, pray the lord your soul to keep~♪" she began in a sing-song tone as if she were merely playing a game with the other. "If you die before you wake, pray for Arceus your soul to take~♪" she finished with a distinctly innocent giggle that suggested she had no sense of empathy.

She and the others descended upon Collette, taking advantage of her paralyzed state to gain a preemptive second strike. The banette wielder covered Collette's eyes in a harmless manner, blinding her... After that, it would feel as if the floor gave out under her, casting her into a sea of increasingly cold water where she sunk like a brick. The laughing of a distant girl, likely the banette wielder, could be heard... and then a eternal darkness ensued as the cold consumed her consciousness.

Mt. Coronet - Trinity
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A passed out girl in dire condition on a holy mountain left to die? What was the worst that could happen? How about... nobody finding her, ever. Luckily for Trinity the dice of destiny rolled slightly better for her than that. A boy not much older than her was drawn to her weak presence, eyes glowing red and a stoic expression on his face. He was fused with the spirit of a pangoro, foliage sticking out of his mouth and large black bags under his eyes. His body had grown thick with muscle, hands and toes sprouting claws.

He knew why she was there. "...Today's not your day, kin." he mused out loud as he picked her up and began carrying Trinity away from those mountains. His voice was unusually deep for a kid, resembling an adult's even. He didn't get far however before a spiky bodied nidoking wielder began stalking him. It took the nidoking wielder a while to reveal himself.

"Hey." he remarked casually, closing the distance between the two of them.

"What do you want?" the pangoro wielder asked, suspiciously.

"Nice catch... I want her." the boy said, flexing his neck. His body language said he wanted a fight, but the pangoro wielder was unimpressed.

"If you think you can 'have' her you're mistaken." he responded, glaring slightly.

"C'mon. She's a dumb girl. She couldn't even make it off the mountain! She's just going to get herself killed anyway." the nidoking wielder protested.

"Only because people like you are always there preying on people without the experience to defend themselves... Taking them the moment Arceus' laws don't protect them, bottom feeders like you make me sick." the pangoro wielder grumbled out in a gravelly tone.

"You do what you have to to survive. Now gimme her before I..!" the nidoking wielder started.

"Or what??" the pangoro wielder interrupted, looking down upon the nidoking wielder with an unrestrained malice. "I am the guardian of Mt. Cornet. I protect the innocent from scum like you. Waste a second more of my time and I will end your miserable life." he all but roared out. The boy had a very intimidating voice, to say the least.

The nidoking wielder flinched, but he hadn't come all this way for nothing. "...So that's how it's going to be then? Right!" he blurted out, raising a foot that glowed with an awesome power. With one violent motion he leapt into the air and slammed his foot down, the very earth cracking open violently before him. It was fissue. The pangoro wielder turned to dodge the attack, only to realize the other wielders' genius. He'd waited until they'd reached untstable ground where his fissure would be that much harder to dodge.

Despite the best of his efforts, the pangoro wielder was unable to completely avoid the attack. Losing his footing he plummeted twenty feet before crashing against some rocks and grabbing ahold of one of them. Sadly he was unable to keep hold of Trinity, the small girl plummeting to her assumed doom below in the darkness of the earth.

"You coward!" the pangoro wielder roared, infuriated by the other's trickery. Only once Trinity vanished beyond view did he begin climbing. That nidoking wielder was about to have a very bad day.

...Meanwhile, Trinity's beaten and bloodied form would crashing into the rocks below, certainly not remotely helping her volatile situation. As it happened though, the unstable ground the nidoking had taken advantage of had been caused by a certain tunnel system underneath them.

'Prophet' Lucy - The Underground

People Eater
Meanwhile, Lucy peered over her shoulder at Harry and Tim. It was overwhelming trying to process all the things she was hearing, let alone deal with this development. She was forced to divert her attention away from her surroundings to listen to his story more clearly.

"...We could use all the help we can get. Right now we've gotta focus on getting through here without anyone dying though." she replied in a very serious tone. "This is a place of gossip... They're probably listening right now..." she added, furrowing her brows and nodding approvingly at Harry before turning her attention back to their destination. The sound of a girl feigning tears rather well in the distance could still be heard, but Lucy made no further comment.

Her attention was once again drawn away by a pair of small arms clinging to hers. She couldn't help but melt a little at her adorable charge. Realizing that she was scaring Amethyst Lucy was faced with an internal conflict however. Did she want to expose Amethyst to all of this? Heck no! Luckily, she had just the solution!

...Lucy's ears and tails glowed white and vanished as she shifted forms. In their place, a giant mouth formed underneath her shirt. Barely missing a step, Lucy reached down and scooped Amethyst up into her arms, leaning in close and whispering to her.

"...Let me do the worrying for a while." she said ever so quietly, hushing the smaller girl before lowering her and in one swift motion lifting her shirt just enough for the large mouth on her belly to open and gobble Amethyst up.

She hadn't even turned around, but it was unlikely no one had noticed her totally just absorb their neighborhood midget little person. Lucy's tail and ears re-appeared, her stomach sealing up again behind Amy. She wasn't planning on letting her back out for a while. ...And besides, this was an awful place to be mistaken for a non-spirit wielder. For once she didn't want to be stealthy.

Lucy, now appearing rather gravid, turned her head and gave the others a stern look. "What you just saw was power of the pokespirit Arceus gave me." she blurted out very quickly in a matter-o-fact tone, emphasizing the lack of choice on her part. "She's too... little for this place. This'll keep all of us, especially her, safe. If anyone asks though, she's the last person who got in our way." she continued, one hand resting on her stomach in a casual manner.

Dealing with other people was hard! She much preferred the tactic of not caring what other people thought, but a part of her understood that was no way to lead.

'Prophet' Lucy - The Underground

People Keeper
The earth rumbled violently around the group as a fissure opened up somewhere above. A rockslide occurred and Lucy was forced to spin on her feet as the walls suddenly began collapsing towards them before she even had a proper chance to call out a warning. She raised her arms and generated a shield in an attempt to protect the group, but the sheer weight of the earth collapsing on them was enough to violently shove her back against the opposite wall, the shield barely holding the rocks back and possibly shattering in some areas to allow a bounder to burst through and potentially give someone a nasty blow. Lucy grunted, her body tensing heavily with the strain.

A certain girl's body seemed to fall out of nowhere, landing nearby. Lucy noted Trinity's entrance but was a tad pre-occupied. Bending forward slightly and pushing back against the rocks, she stabilized the shield and let go. It would stay in place without any further effort on her part... but not for long.

"C'mon, c'mon. Let's go. No turning back now." she stressed, moving forward and helping to make sure everyone got out of the way of the rockslide. She'd squat down and heave a boulder that had broken down out of the way, ushering the group out. As she herself turned to flee the immediate area she totally made a point to grab the unfamiliar, unconscious girl. Using her spirit wielder strength she simply lifted the other in a bridal carry and moved her well out of harm's way.

Perhaps there was something she could do for her. Being owed a favor was never a bad thing, and she was certain a wounded girl couldn't possibly be any worse than what already lurked in the darkness.

Setting Trinity back down, a frustrated Lucy crouched down next to her and placed a hand on the wound on her stomach. Her super sensitive ears could pick up very faint signs of life. Without immediate care the girl would almost certainly be dead within the hour. Lucy used heal pulse, a powerful pink energy pulsating from her palm and spreading throughout Trinity's body to energize her and ease her of the wounds she was suffering from. They were quite extensive wounds however so she was forced to apply a second helping.

"That was some stupid crap." Lucy remarked, ever so slightly pissed off about what had just happened. It was likely the first time anyone had seen her genuinely get angry. "Did anyone see what caused that?" she asked, baffled at the earth's decision to suddenly try and crush them. "That definitely wasn't natural. Someone did that and I bet it wasn't an accident either." she rambled on irritably as she continued healing Trinity, listening for signs of her awakening. Her anger was already fading away as she began to regain her composure.

"Hey wake up." I heard feeling myself being shaken. I opened my eyes to a dim cavern, and looking down at me was an annoyed looking girl who had to be older than me, but really couldn't be an adult. I could tell she had a pokespirit because she had patches of blue scales covering the outside of her arms, the front of her legs, and I guessed she had them covering the front of her body too. I couldn't tell though because she wore a bandage around her chest and stomach. "What are you stupid?" She said using a knife to carve out a stake. "You do know that rain is poisoned right?"

"I have to get to the explosion." I said, trying to sit up. It was hard though since I was wrapped in a blanket and felt weak. "Unwrap me!" I commanded wriggling around.

"No go, Faullen told me to keep you here." She stabbed the stake into the dirt and began carving another one. "Also the rain has yet to let up."

"Who is fallen?"

"It isn't fallen, it is pronounced Fow-Lin." She didn't seem to have a reason to be carving the stakes, and they seemed more like a pastime. "Stupid." She mumbled.

I began to struggle even harder. I realized the blanket was staked to the ground, and I was immobilized. "IF YOU DON'T LET ME GO I WILL KILL BOTH OF YOU." I yelled.

"Nope." She said, seeming to ignore me, "To be honest, you owe us your life."

"I don't owe you anything!" I retorted. "You captured me and probably poisoned me too!"

She finished her stake and stabbed it into the blanket, right next to my arm. "I already told you stupid, it's raining poison." She growled.

"MY NAME ISN'T STUPID, IT'S ORIANNA!" I roared.

"Yea, your name is pretty stupid." She said.

"Oh yea!? Then what is your name!?"

"Reiss."

"Your name is stupid!"

"I'll kick you into the sea little girl." She snapped.

"Is that a challenge!?" I taunted, struggling again, "Fight me and we will see how far who kicks who!"

"Gladly." She growled. She pulled her knife up to the blanket, about to cut me out, but a voice stopped her.

"What are you doing Reiss?" A teenage boy with a booming voice said. He looked similar, though he had purple scales. He also covered his torso with bandages. "If you let her walk around, she may get even worse." He said kindly, walking over.

"I don't like this girl, she's stupid and reckless." She handed the boy her knife, "She is also disrespectful, ungrateful, and unreasonable."

"STOP USING WORDS THAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND!" I yelled frustrated that I was still stuck.

"She is also loud."

The boy kneeled down beside me, "She is just lonely and afraid is all." He put his hand to my forehead, "and still sick."

"I'm not sick!" I said shaking his hand of my head, "and I am not afraid!"

"But you didn't deny being lonely." He said laughing lightly.

I growled, but then felt a large pain in my stomach and sides. "Ha!" The girl said "She is totally sick. You were completely right! How does it feel Orianna?" She taunted.

The boy glanced at her, and she shut up, then looked down at me, "When I found her she had been soaking in the rain unconscious for who knows how long. Say what you will, but she is tougher than our scales." He put his hand gently on my stomach, which did nothing to stop the pain. "I'm sorry we can't help you more than giving you shelter, but the medicine I read about in our books is not easy to find."

"Yea, all those old meds are a real pain." The girl said, "And the berries would be coated in the rain, Faullen said it would be too risky to feed you any."

I struggled and writhed, mostly not understanding what they were talking about. "It doesn't hurt." I said through clinched teeth, "I'm fine, let me go, I need to go to the explosion."

"See, totally reckless." Reiss said, "Doesn't even understand that she is sick and will die out in that rain far before she reaches the site of the explosion."

"READY TO KILL READY TO DIE." I yelled, "I'll keep going until I die, no fear."

"I'm afraid that mentality is completely irrational." Faullen said, "If you are fighting for a cause, then death, even if you accomplish your goal, would be the worst thing to happen. If you can live to fight another day, then you should do everything you can to make sure that you survive."

"I don't care about that." I said, "If I don't do this, then I will be weak, and Lucy won't trust me anymore."

"Would Lucy be sad if you died?" Faullen asked.

"No! Because I will die for her and Spark."

He rubbed his cheek, thinking for a moment, and then looked at Reiss who only nodded her head. "We would be sad if you died." He said. "Lucy and Spark don't sound like good people if they wouldn't be either."

I growled and began to struggle, "SPARK IS NOT BAD, SHE WAS THE STRONGEST PERSON EVER AND COULD KILL BOTH OF YOU WITH BOTH ARM TAKEN OFF!"

"You hit the nerve." Reiss said.

"Yea, I am surprised that this girl is related to her." He replied.

"They don't look related." Reiss said, "Hey sickie, how do you know Spark?"

"She saved my life and trained me." I replied venomously, "Which means I could beat you both with one arm tied behind my back."

"Clearly you can't beat us with both arms and your legs tied down." She laughed.

"Do you want to hear our story Orianna?" Faullen asked, ignoring Reiss's taunt. "It involves your teacher."

"No! I want to get out of here!"

"If you let us tell you our story, then we will let you go on your way." He said. "We will personally escort you to the explosion site as well."

I looked at the blanket wrapped around me, then at the two of them, then let out a defeated grunt. "Fine."

"Well why don't you start Reiss?"

Lozel - A Tunnel
The sight wasn’t something I would naturally gasp at, Lucy was indeed strange, I couldn’t even argue and neither could she. If she thought it helped I was prepared to trust her. I shrugged before I was interrupted by the sudden occurrence of a rock fall. Flinching slightly I gather my strengths managing to pick myself up and gather courage to run away. For a fleeting moment my heart skipped a beat as I begin to stumble for the exit of the underground tunnels. Barely keeping my breath in control I gasp as I stumble with my wounds still greatly affecting my pace, despite Lucy’s healing abilities. I assume Obys’s curses are quite powerful.

As I continue to pass through tunnels on my own, since regrettably I was the only one to depart on such short notice and with such a speed I outran most of my comrades, I trip and fall over onto a dusty overlay of rocks. I notice a family in the corner cower away around the corner as I look at them with good in my eyes. With no doubt they still backed away, too many lives had been ruined thanks to lies. They are gone from my sight but as I begin to look down I notice the smallest kink in the grounds natural form, a small indent out of the rock and soil, so square and solid it peaks my interest easily. I grasp a hold of the outer edges, feeling a smooth edge, and gently push at it. It moves to my surprise and suddenly I’m present with a trap door, an ordinary thing and quite small, it could however just about fit Lucy. Anyone else may have a difficult time getting down. Looking down I see many signs of neglect, cobwebs and darkness consist in the small space I see. Cobwebs? How old does this thing have to be to have natural cobwebs? Somehow they don’t seem old but I know they must be. Either so I just down, gathering a bunch of webs along the way. The drop is sharp and short and very, well icky. I hope the rest catch up with me soon for I fear a great evil lurking within the caves…
