I kinda expected this, seeing as Pokémon is one of Nintendo's largest franchises, and the DS has online capabilities. Seems like Nintendo is finally answering the pleas of all those NBers out there. Yay!

I'm not sure about online trading, it would take the emphasis out of getting both versions of the game if you can just trade with someone online.

You're not supposed to buy 2 DSes and the 2 games to get the pokemon exclusively in either one, you're supposed to trade with friends and other people who have that version.

The page doesn't show up for me.

I was expecting them to go online. Good to hear they're doing it.

You could always borrow a friend's DS and trade if you had two game packs, but that wouldn't work for people who don't have friends with a DS. I like the idea of online trading.

i like the idea too. for those who don't have friends with the games or who don't get enough time to trade with them, its a great idea. it won't make the game less fun - its your choice. even though i will have a friend to trade with, he may not always get the pokemon i want or may not be willing to give it up. and its nto like u can rip off someone (unless their stupid) because trading is mutual. i would love to see online trading. it would make the games even better.
