Default Attack Ideas

So how about we list some ideas we have for moves for diamond/pearl, they don't have to be moves that you would use competitively, just moves that would fit Pokemon.

Fault Line (hope everyone knows what a fault line is)
Description: Creates a fault line in the middle of the arena
Type: Ground
Damage: N/A
Effect: After using Fault Line, when enemy pokemon use a physical attack, they recieve damage (because they cross the fault line)

Psyblast
Description: Low accuracy. Random psychic blasts are shot at the enemy.
Accuracy: 50%
Damage: 100
Effect: Enemy always becomes confused.

And what have you people got?

Psyblast sounds like Psywave but at least Psywave is 100%.

I want a move to bring fliers and levitators to the ground.

Id call it something like Net or Drag Down or something.

Doesn't psywave do 1 to 1.5 the users level?

BTW that's a good idea, sort of like foresight for normal vs. ghost attacks.

I think thats what it used to be, then it was changed, or something. Prove me wrong someone.

Thanks, Ive missed Earthquaking Gengar and Weezing since GSC days so a move like that would be awesome IMO.

Heh, I've made that move in my game XD. It's called Gravitate though.

I wanna see a grass version of Hydro Pump and Fire Blast. Grass Pokemon always get left out in Pokemon.

Solarbeam is different though, it takes two turns to use it. Unless you use Sunny Day too.

This is the equivilant of hyper beam but for rukario and other steel types

Quicksilver
Dmg: 150
Acy: 90
Type: Steel
Effect: A masive beam of quicksilver that does a lot of damage to the oposing pokemon. Also will hit first

and that is my idea

That's a bit too powerful to be an actual attack. 150 damage, 90% accuracy and no side effects? And it will hit first? That'd be like a megamove.

Oh and:

Hyper Claw
Type: Normal
-Overgrown version of slash, but it drains the users strength (attack falls)
Damage: 100
Accuracy: 100%
Effect: User's attack falls.

Dive Bomb
Type: Flying
-Dives and attacks the opponent
Damage: 120
Accuracy: 95%
Effect: Hit with recoil (like Double Edge)

Turn Quicksilver into a Steel-type hyper beam to make it fairer if you ask me. I like cmatz's move and your last 2 Xtacy.

??? type can never be a damaging attack. It would have to be neutral to everything, therefore giving it an unfair advantage.

so? unfair advantages are fun. anyway, i would like to see hara-kiri... the pokemon sacrefices itself to automatically capture, or at least make a pokemon a lot easier to capture, like catch a legendary with a greatball or something... anyway, if it was a trainer's pokemon, it would defeat or damage the oposing pokemon and make all other opponent pokemon on the feild for the rest of the battle be confused. as for appearance: a katana would appear and slash through the pokemon. the pokemon would asplode and be ko'd...only a few could learn it, probably samurai-type ones or something...like that sumo one, i forget it's name

Err, accuracy 98%? 130 attack? Very unfair...

Anyway, some moves:

Branch Arrow (or something like it)
Damage: 95
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 15/15
Type: Grass
Effect: Maybe 10% poisoning?
(finally, a DMG95/ACC100% grass attack)

Silver Mist (like Silver Wind?)
Damage: -
Accuracy: - (always 100%)
PP: 10/10
Type: Bug
Effect: Raises both own and opponents stats (all) by 1 level.
(Hard to use, but might be strong if used right - for high level users?)

How about...

Jab
Type: Fighting
Accuracy: 95%
Power: 50
Effect: Opponent has a 50% chance to flinch.

This could probably use tweaking to power. Its intentions are to have high flinch rate, low power. Maybe for a new Haxy pokemon, like a Dunsparce with arms lol.
