Final Fantasy 7 action game

Anyone heard of FF7: Dirge of Cerberus? It's like a Devil May Cry game except it has Vincent instead of Dante. I'd like to play it but its in japan right now and i dont have a japanese PS2.

A couple things. First of all, it's not out in Japan just yet, and secondly, it's a reletively new genre. I can see where you're drawing the idea of them being similar, but S-E says it's something really different.

When I first saw the title I thought it was reffering to Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII because it's labeled as an Action RPG. :D

I have heard of it for ages now, it stars Vincent as the main character and also Cait Sith and Reeve. There are rumours that Dirge of Cerberus will be released in Japan either late this year or early 2006 but nothings sure.

The game starts with the appearance of a group called the Deep ground soldiers who hid underground because of the events of Meteor hitting earth. Vincent is somehow connected and that’s all that’s really known as of now…as far as I know anyway.
