You have a nice selection of songs out there dan48. I can't wait to play it.
BTW, announcers would be nice in the game but sometimes they get a little annoying. They talk too much and that makes me distracted so I get a miss or a boo. Its just my opinion, but I guess... I agree with you. :D

that is the main question in my head. I could mak it so that you could shut off the announcers I believe. But if I cant some peope might get annoyed. Ummmm........................ My pole is already up so anyone who wants announcers just post yes and the most votes will get the announcers.

Update: I added characters to the game so you can choose which ones you want. This is an on/off feature.

I have also found announcers, from ddr extreme so i am going to wait for more comments to either add thm or not.

These will all be added. Forget the voting. I made it so that they'll be on and off features. The characters look fantastic, better and clearer than in the real ddr or maybe the same. lol!!!

The announcers are great as well, so overall this game is going to be just like any other dancing game. Only with 80 great songs, diffrent modes and fun gameplay.

I am going to try to make some unlockable songs. If I can I'll do it, If I cant . . . enjoy 80 songs.

Fact of the day: Dance Champion will have 320 stepcharts excluding expert charts.

sorry for the double post but here is another update.

Characters: 20 so far, and they look perfect, I chose the most up to date characters so you wont be dissapointed.

The big update is that I found some themes for the game.

A Theme if you dont know is the game style. All the dancing games have diffrent ones. Below are the diffrent styles you can choose from, and they are changeable via Options. Some of these styles may change the places of some modes to fit its format but nothing really does change. You can choose whichever is your favorite one. Under each mode will be three screens of what they look like and you could compare them. Enjoy.

I am still thinkin of putting In The Groove Theme because there is a beta version out for 1, and 2 but they arent finished and might have bugs which may cause the game to crash and you to lose it. I want this game to be perfect so I am not goin to put them in until they are done.

some songs were a true nightmare, others were a little easier, but some songs dont have banners for the wheel or backrounds for the song so you have to look for them which could also take while. I chose the best songs that came, and there were about 120. Some didn't have banners and then I waited for you guys to vote and just decided to use the ones with banners and backrounds and chose my favourite 80. Now I have to create the steps for all them. So I should have it done quite soon.

Any comments on my themes?

Yes one of the dancers is going to be Alice. lol!! I am gonna try to get every character. I have about 20 now.

Would anyone like some songs and courses to be unlockables to make the game a little more challenging? I thought it would be a good idea personally but I'll wait for more suggestions on that topic.

Unlockables are always a good thing...even better if you make them hard (but not too hard) to unlock.

I know what you mean. I am probably, if I do it, am going to make it so that you must play a certain amount of songs to unlock that song. I am going to make up a list of the unlockable songs, just so I am ready to do it. I still havent finished all the songs. I still need to complete 21 more.

thanks serpenter. I guarantee it'll be jut like a real ddr game. All my beta testers loved it. The songs are great, the menus and everything is great. You'll feel like your playing a new DDR game.

Update: Just need to finish 9 more songs and I'll be done with the songs. Some songs are marathon cousrses so you wont be able to play from beginner to standard on them. There are about 3 marathon courses. the rest are normal.

Update: There will be 50 Challenge(Expert) Songs. Just to inform all you dance experts. By the way. WARNING THE EXPERT STEPCHARTS IN THIS GAME ARE
GOD COMPARED TO IN THE GROOVE. So you'll have . . . Lets just say quite the challenge.

My final question of the day?

Which Arrows should I use for the game. DDR or In the Groove ones.
Post a comment with an answer because at the moment I am using DDR arrows but I can change them to In the Groove ones. Its your choice.

The biggest update ever!!!! Sorry for the double post but it is extremely important!!!!! And all you wont mind anyway right so.........

Now I need to complete some courses. Try to do some Unlockables. And get a few more characters and I am done. So you'll have the game definatly by Friday.

I'd suggest Max300, thats really hard! I can only do it on light and standard! haha

The arrows will be the same as DDR just diffrent colors to make it more easier to identify. It wont be as hard with In the Groove Arrows. There is a diffrent arrows color for each section in In the Groove.

Here are some pics of the arrows. You can see the diffrence. I didn't use the exact arrows. I am using the colors. Please dont forget that because in In the Groove there are totally diffrent timings and in this game it'll be the same with both types. Hope this helps.

Sorry QFred, only the keyboard. I believe though if you have internet play for Xbox you can connect to this game.

Trust me, there are songs in this game faster then Max 300 and better. You wont be dissapointed.



Oh, by the way. I've decided to use In The Groove Arrows. If you want though, the arrows could be switched in the options mode so there shouldn't be a problem.

I've also added the beta version of In the Groove 2, the Theme so I hope your satisfied with 3 themes. I could add Ultramix theme if you'd like.

lol. Thats what I didn't get. You said something about circles. Those are mines. If you keep your foot on the arrow or step on them you take damage to your life meter. Sorry. I didn't understand, I dont blame you since they are a modifier used in In The Groove and some people havent played that game.

In this game. All the modifiers in In The Groove, I am pretty sure will be in the game. Maybe more then In the Groove, but I havent tried out every modifier yet. You'll just have to wait and see on Friday.

Update!!! Here is an In The Groove theme. I decided to put it in since it works. I like it most because of the wheel and graphics. I dont like it because it doesn't have extra modes like challenge, BATTLE, etc. . . Well here are the pics.
