You have to script it I believe.

I think that is right.

I got two questions:
1. I tried creating one but instead of a new map, the created map replaced one of the old ones. Why?

2. When I open a FR rom at A-Text, some texts are blank, I tried to fill it but it will cause a text glitch. How can I fix it?

1. I dont understand this either. I guess just make a new directory and store your new maps there

2. Make sure you have a clean ROM because sometimes that might make it now work (duh)

I tried it on a clean rom days ago and some of the text are still blank. That's what happened after I edit a text.

EDIT: I created a new building in Viridian and I created a warp there using A-Map. The problem is, when I entered the new building the player landed on the table instead of landing on the mat/door. How can I change the player position when it entered the building?

EDIT2: Since I replaced the FR Pidgey with a DP one using unLZ, the whole Viridian map has no events(except the flight position in front of the Pokémon Center). Is it connected to the Pidgey?

How can i edit the end credits of the game?

With advance map, i am inserting new maps, but they keep going to littleroot town folder in "Header" How do i make a new folder in "Header"?

Question: When i create a new map i can't seem to make a new name for it, instead they only allowed me to use another map's name and i could then change the name to a name a i want. This meant that if i were to use pallet town as a name and change it to another name, both pallet town and my custom map will be the same.
Anyone knows how to deal with such a problem?

I'm not sure about the A-text problem.

The second problem is that you have to make sure there is a warp on the inside and that they have the right values attached. Usually if you've warped to a room, but pointed to a warp no. that isn't there, It usually warps to the middle of the room.

3rd Problem. I have no idea. That shouldn't have happened.

My friend and I started hacking Fire Red yesterday. We never done something like that before so we... suck. Right now we have several questions (I'm sure we will have more)

1. (We're using advance map) We tried to builed a new market but everytime we use the warp from the outside to the inside, the screen turns black an the game freezes. (It's the first market in the game and we tried to delete the oak-parcel-event. I didn't worked, so we built a new one.) The warp is linked correct. Any what might be wrong?
2. How can we edit the trainersprites of the maincharacter (you know, the one at the beginning and on the trainer card)
3. Is there a programm or a way to add new trainers?
4. Are there tilesets made by other hackers for downloading and using?

1. |You can't delete the mart event, it is programmed into the map.

2.|Unlz.gba

3.|PET, I don't think you can add trainers, but you can change them.

4.|I only know of one, and that is for Ruby. Why would someone want to give you there tileset? A majority of tilesets have new palettes, if you want to add or replace someting in a-mpa, export tileset 2, paste the image on there the import it back. you can either replace an image(like the pokecenter, or add blocks to the tileset add add the tile there.

That basically means that there is a problem with the script. You've left out a pointer. POst the script the script thread and I'm sure someone will help you fix it.

i just wanted to know if this is normal for pokescript
when i click compile,i get
file not found or user canceled.
when i look at the log it shows

im not sure if that's normal since i see invalid command lock and so on
if its something to do with pkmn advance thing that i also needed to download, is it supposed to be in a specific folder?

No it isn't it means that either there is a problem with the commands file in the folder with pokescript or the commands file isn't located in the correct spot.

I just simply edited a text in A-Text but instead of changing it in the rom, it affects A-Map events. How can I fix A-Text so it will work properly?

well i have the commands and other things from pkmadv files
i just dont know if they should be in the Base folder
in pokescript or something.

Just change the tileset 1 or 2 you are using under the Events header.
