Yeah, it's likely not us. You've most likely been infected with adware, which produces ads whenever it feels like. Like coolmaster said, just run a scanner to confirm the issue.

If it's not Adware, you could've accidently pressed the middle-button of your mouse (/mousewheel) while over a link, which would open the page in a new tab.
Unintentionally happening a lot of times.

I'd try running a scanner, I don't know where you found the link on this site.....but whatever, I hope you get the problem figured out!

Lavasoft.com has a good scanner its called "Ad-Aware SE Personal" it scans for Trojans, Adware, Spyware, Viruses, and it scans your registry for malicious keys.
