In my 6th, I usually have a Pokemon I'm trying to train for the sake of gathering Pokedex info, though I'm beginning to hold off on that now that I have 50+ (and thus what I believe to be all of the gifts from Professor Oak). As I've made evident in my list, it's currently a Tauros that I recently caught in the Safari Zone. In the past, it's been Venonat (gave up due to seemingly incredibly lame defense stats), Nidorina/Nidorino (currently boxed because I'm about to go through the Saffron Gym), Pidgeotto (still not entirely sure why I stored it, but now I've grown attached to my team and can't find a reason to unstore it), and various HM slaves such as Gloom (cut) or Machop (strength). There are a lot of other Pokemon I've been meaning to train in my sixth slot, but I get attached to my teams too easily.

I can't seem to remember my original Silver or Gold teams, but I do remember (and still have the save for) Crystal, which i played and loved the most. Not sure about the levels besides Typhlosion and can't be bothered to look right now.

As a kid I didn't really train other Pokemon (never got the concept of a team) and I liked my Quilava too much to evolve it.

In RBY I just went with Sceptile in one game, Blaziken in another. By the time I reached the Elite Four I remember the levels for each being insanely high. I don't remember if I grinded or not or if it was really just a natural thing.

I haven't played Yellow or Red in forever, so I can't tell you who's on my teams on each game. However, I just completed a challenge using Blue version and my team consists of a Level 70 Venusaur, Level 30 Snorlax, Level 13 Bellsprout, and a Level 22 Pidgey. Though I should definitely check my other games. :V

First of all, everyone who plays the old games is awesome. My team on Pokemon Blue is Mew Lv. 100, Mewtwo Lv. 100, Blastoise Lv. 100, Moltres Lv. 100, Articuno Lv. 100, and Zapdos Lv. 100. Yes, I glitched for Mew, but that's it. I raised him from Lv. 7. Black and White were disappointing.
