So what is the best (or just a good) move set for Snorlax and Salamence?
And does snorlax learn yawn on its own?

My Salamence is pretty dominant and it knows Flamethrower, Crunch, Dragon Claw and Fly.

Just make sure its versatile.

HM Moves = Useless

Anyway, here's a somewhat strange Snorlax set involving yawn:

Snorlax @ Leftovers ** Pillsbury
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 172 HP / 40 Atk / 160 Def / 136 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Yawn
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Crunch / Zen Headbutt
Start with a Yawn (which Snorlax learns at Lv. 20 btw) to force a switch. Substitute, and depending on what's out, launch either a Focus Punch or a Zen Headbutt or Crunch Attack.

Salamence should be running with:

Salamence @ Leftovers / Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spd / 32 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) / Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Earthquake
- Fire Fang / Fire Blast
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw / Dragon Rush
I figured I'd mention Physical Sala since it hasn't been getting any love in the D/P Gen and Special Sala is overshadowing it. Dragon Claw gets that nice STAB boost, and Earthquake hits the hard stuff. Fire Fang / Fire Blast is for that necessary Heracross attacking. If you're running Fire Fang, Adamant. Fire Blast, use Lonely.
I'm officially retired from all competitive play due to my busy schedule. But I'm never going to lose the love that I have for the Pokemon game in general. I now spend my free time playing GBA Pokemon Hacks just for the enjoyment of it.

I like a Mixed Salamence.

Rash Salamence @ Life Orb
216 spd/80 sp.atk/212 atk

Draco Meteor
Hydro Pump
Earthquake
Brick Break

Sweeps rather efficiently.

Brick Break is doing the same thing Earthquake does at less the power.
Needs Aerial Ace for Heracross coverage.

I'll help you out. Heart Scales are small, and only 4 squares wide. Try not to hammer to many places at once, and use the pickaxe to find some, and the hammer to dig it up.

Curselax is a monster.

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Name: Curselax
move 1: Body Slam
move 2: Earthquake / Crunch / Pursuit / Fire Blast
move 3: Curse
move 4: Rest / Selfdestruct
nature: Careful

I actually understand IVs and EVs.
If you think that people who could care less about IVs and EVs think that way because they don't understand them, copy & paste this into your signature.
