these are some of my manga artwork, I never copy others, such as fanart (omg so many naruto drawings everywhere) so yeah, I'm an original artist.

here it is.
these are really old, I don't have any recent artwork because they are all taking a very long time, and I'm putting more detail and stress into them. Let's just say I've moved up in stature and these are a joke compared to what I draw now.

thank you for viewing! I'll try to add more, and i also take requests, what I'm working on now is Harry Osbourne from Spiderman 3, make it as realistic as possible.

Yeah, a scanner would help me alot, all i have is my digital camera, and its so stupid, it cant adjust to the lighting and environment so picture dont come out vivid and the focus is so shot.

Your, drawings are sweet! I think once you get a scanner, and add a little more detail, you're drawings will be insane. Btw. I loved the Monster Hunter drawing.

I have a few more finishing up... give me a few days. I might get started on a Mobile Suit Gundam scene from Endless Waltz after all this.

Hello, dearest! Keep the works coming! Seriously. You have great potential!
Try working on something that's outside your comfort zone, though! Try doing some self-portraits to challenge yourself! I think it'll really benefit you!

Funny you mention that Kura, I have been working on portraits lately, but I can't get that realistic effect as desired. :/ But no worries! I'm doing my best and just today, I got a recommendation from my art teacher to go to get Drawing lessons, contributions of her. Thanks for your help, Kura!

Don't call me crazy, because this is what I'm going to work on next.

These are very well done. I can't draw on paper this well, most of the time. Anyways, as someone has said, try something outside of your comfort zone.

You seem to have a taste for armor/weapons/ mechanical things. May I suggest doing a few vehicles?

Yeah, I try really hard, but I have a hard time making it stand out. It still looks flat and I can't get the shadowing correctly, my drawings look like... pictures. Kura is the artist here. I'm trying to follow some of her tips. ^^

Do you mean with vehicles or characters? Your characters look fine to me, shading-wise.

Eh, they still look flat though, they don't have a majestic look to them.

I really like the detail in your drawings from what I can see. =] It'd be cool to see you draw some other stuff like cars and what not; which seems like a lot of members are suggesting. ^^

How about my car? (http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=41906332&albumID=30461&imageID=5053734)

Or my dashboard? (http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=41906332&albumID=30461&imageID=15451264)

Or perhaps a different make&model? (http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-mercedes-benz-c-class-us-spec)

Anything mechanical and nice to look at ;)

It doesn't have to be real. You seem to focus on science fiction/fantasy anyways. It could even be that Transformer you were going to draw.

Actually, I have an idea. Draw that Transformer in both it's humanoid and vehicular modes. That would work nicely.

Okay, so I started working on oekakis... what can I do to make this better? (by the way, I drew it with a mouse ><)

November 25th, 2007, 10:43 PM
That looks...familiar...I think that's been done? Wait a sec...

EDIT: Oh I see. It's displayed on the top of the front page. Confused there for a sec.

It's kinda...confusing? It's like it's either overly-simplistic or too detailed.
