View Full Version : Question: member id

September 16th, 2009, 10:09 AM
Was wondering if I could get my user ID changed to 36.. or 000036, if the zeros make a difference. I actually had a lot more to type but forgot about it...

Short answer: No, you can't.
Long answer: It'd be too troublesome to move things around manually in the board's database in order to place your account at #36 and move every other account down 1 number. Something like that would cause far too many problems. :\

why cant he just switch his number with the persone who as 36

Because there is no member with 36.

Though I'm not sure if admins usually honour this, do they?

I know it is a simple number change, but if everyone wants it, though like me, you are a supporter, so idk.

We... don't change User IDs under any circumstances I believe.

There's just no real reason or need for it.

No more annoying 36 character long user names? :p
Well supposed to be. ;;

Listen to the redhead. He's right 500% of the time.

Another thing: it's not impossible to move IDs, but even after I pined to be put back at ID 5, not even I'm allowed to do it. ;o
