Forum Posting Regulations
These rules are to keep you safe from getting any punishment from Zet and is recommended that you follow them to your grave. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in punishments covered in the PokeCommunity Rules thread in the main forum rules (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=54097). Scroll down for cookies and the Computer & Technology Rules and Computer Guideline.

No cracking.
Don't teach people how to use a keygen or a patching program, it is usually frowned upon in society and is unlawful.
No computer hacking.
Don't teach people how to hack another computer. I really don't care if you want to get revenge on your ex-boy/girlfriend
No download links to illegal programs.
Hacking and cracking are exactly what I'm on about. Don't link to it, or get banned.
No advertising whatsoever.
eBay is your friend. It's there for a reason. And if you just want to flat out advertise on this forum, go ask Steve, don't SPAM us.
No Photoshop help.
There is a thread here (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=23456) in the Graphics forum for Photoshop help.
No delete System32
Seriously guys, none of this crap, a normal member here won't know how to delete it and will keep asking how.
Computer GuidelinesThe rules now said, here's some general guidelines:
Watch that ".exe"!
The common problem with computer viruses nowadays is that people open it without knowing what harm it could do. Check your sources.
note: In my cases, I found program exe with viruses tend to be .EXE instead of .exe, but still check your sources.
Use Windows Update/Mac OS X's Software Update.
Generally, there is an updating mechanism in the latest Windows versions. In Windows XP Service Pack 3 and Vista Service Pack 2, it's automatic. Check Windows Update (and get Service Pack 3 and Service Pack 2 for Vista). In Mac OS X, go to the Apple menu, and select "Software Update...".
Only get Microsoft Updates from Microsoft.
Microsoft is a reliable source, but don't grab updates elsewhere (especially Windows XP Service Pack 3 and Vista Service Pack 2). Doing this may end you up installing potentially harmful updates into your computer.
If you need some help, it's recommended you search on Google or any other search engines (like Yahoo, Bing, Ask, etc) for it.
Taskbar gone in Windows XP/Vista?!
Well make it ungone by pressing ctrl+alt+delete and go into task manager, then click "file" and click on "New Task (Run..)" type "explorer.exe" in the box and hit enter
______________ won't stop running
If _____________ ( a program goes in the blank incase you don't know) won't stop running no matter how many times you click on the close application button (the big red X) go into task manager(read above on how to get into it) and select the "processes tab"(unless already in there), find the program in the list and click it and then click "end process" at the button of task manager and then click "yes"

And that is all to it, enjoy your time in C&T and it's subforums.
