I've been reading up on aircraft for quite sometime, since about 2008, which is when I read up on aircraft such as the Su-47 and the MiG-1.44, both prototypes however. I also read up on the PAK FA (T-50) which was scheduled for test flight in 2009, but did not. They finally did the maiden flight for the aircraft this year, on January 29th. It uses technology from both the Su-47 and MiG 1.44, and is designed to be a direct competitor to the F-22A and the F-35. It looks very similar to the F-22 body shape wise, with the engines and air intakes being the most different, as well with the body seeming larger.

Basically, if you want to discuss the plane and it's features and hopefully provide some more information, that would be great.

In my opinion, I doubt the PAK FA will be able to directly match the F-22, with the F-22A being superior, but since production of the F-22 has stopped with relatively few fighters built, the Russians would be able to simply overwhelm with numbers as they plan on exporting and building a large amount of the PAK FA.

I do believe that it'll be able to match or surpass the F-35, at least maneuverability wise due to thrust vectoring.
