Hey there Blu, welcome to PC and good to meet you! :)

If you're a video games fan then check out the Video Games (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27) board! It's got loads of fun discussions related to games that you can participate in. What games do you like? I am so addicted to Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing right now so those eat away most of my free time. I just got a DLC for my Fire Emblem game so that's been making gameplay a bit more fun. :D; PC has a loot of gamers, from casuals to hardcore, so you'll find a lot of others that you can talk with about games. You can also discuss MMORPGs and other online games in the Video Games board as well as show off your Let's Plays and the like. Check it out!

But eee... Ruby. <3 The third generation was one of my favorites and I must have close to 300 hours clocked on my Sapphire. Contests were really fun there, more so than in the fourth generation, so a big chunk of my time was spent getting ribbons in the game. Have you been keeping up with Pokemon for a long time? Looking forward to X and Y? There's a ton of excitement surrounding those games so if you're interested you can always dive into discussions relating to those games since we have a whole board dedicated to it and many avid fans. I'm especially excited to see what the starters look like when fully evolved! Hopefully they're as cool as I expect.

Oh, and hacking's awesome. Check out the Emulation (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=156) board to discuss that and you can even find a lot of tools to use if you're looking to create your own game. You can join a team, get help with scripts, and many other cool things. I'll leave the exploring up to you, though, since you learn best by doing. :) Have an awesome time here and let me or another moderator know if you need help with anything!

Hey there Jacob, and welcome to PC! I'm Zach (or you can call me Servine), and it's a pleasure meeting you! {:3}

My friend Cirno above, who is the moderator of The Welcome Lounge, directed you in the correct directions based on your interest in Pokémon, so please go check those out if you haven't already done so! :]

Anyways, as a reminder, please be sure to look over the rules, so that you don't wind up getting into any trouble whatsoever. The last thing we want to see is a new member getting busted with an infraction for breaking simple rules :[

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate in asking anyone on staff (with the bold usernames), and they'd be glad to help you out any time! :D

Hope you enjoy your stay here! Feel free to shoot me a VM or a PM if you ever wanna chat! ^_^

Hello Jacob, welcome to PC!

Cirno definitely pointed you in the right direction based on what you mentioned, especially Emulation & ROM Hacking since you did mention you're a hacker. And Ruby was my first Pokemon game as well, so if you want to discuss Hoenn and its games as a whole you should check out the Advance Generation Gaming (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=164) section here, and you'll find some awesome topics there. I may not be a hacker, but it is one of the driving forces for so many people joining PC and I can't wait to see what hacks you can make.

Anyways, like what the others said I advise reading the rules so you don't get into trouble, and there's also the various staff and members who can help you out. Anyways, I do hope to see you around PC and we have loads of topics on offer so go and explore all over the place if you can. Have a great time here dude and if you wanna talk just leave me a VM!

Hey there! Welcome to PC!

There are so many sections here at PC for you to check out to satisfy your interests. As the others have said, since you love gaming be sure to check out the Video Game (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27) section, which is dedicated to non-Pokemon games on platforms such as 3DS, Xbox, etc. You can chat about all your favorite games there, and even post a Let's Play Guide to help others with a certain game!

And if you like Rom Hacking, be sure to check out our large Emulation (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=156) section of the site. There you'll be able to find all the tools and resources you need for hacking. You can even find very good tutorials for if your a beginner. Also you can find a lot of cool hacks to play made by our incredibly creative members of the site!

If you need anything, do not hesitate to ask (:
