View Full Version : Runaways

June 20th, 2005, 6:43 PM
Once apon a time, the world was filled with many happy people and pokemon. The time came to where an evil dictator used his power over the people to create a new creature. A pokemorph. The man had switched human DNA with pokemon DNA. What was left is what we call, a pokemorph. He, Team Cipher Leader, Bob, created more and more, and soon there was a total of 250 pokemorphs. Bob felt that he, a normal human had athority over the pokemorphs. And so, pokemorphs were sent to do his dirty work in places called pokecamps. Many pokemorphs tried to runaway, only to be beaten harder and to do even more work. Finally 10 pokemorphs desided to runaway. This time, they wern't coming back. And thats were you come in. You can be a pokemorph, a pokemon, or a regular human. (But no bobs)

So many times had i tried to help them, so many times I had failed. Now, I just didn't try. I opened my eyes and pushed off the tree I was leaning on. With a roundhouse kick to its trunk, an apple fell into my hands. I took one bite and threw the apple over the cliff I faced. *Man, I hate visions.*

Yea! Okay. Your in. Welcome aboard

June 21st, 2005, 8:23 AM
I'll join! ^-^

Name: Anna
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Pokemon's DNA you have: Wobbuffet
Personality: Happy, bubbly, even though she's obviously been through a lot. She acts like everyone's her friend (even if you're not her friend XD). She tries to always look at the bright side and get others to have fun. It's her only way to cope with the serious things that happen in her life.
Description: She has light blue (like Wobbuffet color) hair that's shoulder-length and it's sorta shaped like the back of a Wobbuffet's head. Her eyes are a light gray color (though you wouldn't know it because they're always closed). She has a long black tail with eyes on it that she likes to try to keep hidden. Also her skin has a light blueish tinge to it. As for clothes, she wears navy blue gloves, a bright blue shirt and white khaki pants. Her shirt is a little small so a bit of her belly shows through it.
History: She doesn't remember anything outside of what she's been through with Bob. She doesn't like him, and she's been beaten more than once for trying to escape. She's also been beaten because of her less-than-perfect psychic powers.
Other: Nothing!
RP Sample: "What the?" I thought, looking over to the buzzing, bustling trees. They were moving like crazy and I was sure that just a second ago there was nothing over there. I took a timid step forward and realized too late that what was in the tree was a huge swarm of Beedril! "GAH!" I panicked, jumping and turning to begin running as fast as I could go. I started to run and kept saying to myself "Faster...! Faster...! FASTER!!" If only there was some sort of water around for me to dunk myself in! Of course; there wasn't.... Just my luck.

Name: Rine Argent
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Pokemon's DNA you have: Sneasel
Personality: Though a loner by nature, Rine is also rather efficient in life as in battle. That is, he is willing to make certain compromises if they seem logical or beneficial. However, there are certain compromises he refuses to make--ones that move against his code of honor. If driven to battle, Rine is skilled and merciless--deeming it to be a waste of energy to repeatedly spare an opponent and thereby receive their attacks.

Despite his customary efficiency, though, Rine may--at times--reveal a certain sadistic or sadomasochistic edge.
Description: Dark hair, crimson eyes, gold gem on his forehead, Sneasel's ears, gold gem at the center of his collar-bone; a bandage is tied about his head and covers one eye
History: Before Rine met Team Cipher, he lived a relatively normal life. Though his family was often lacking in finances, they were a loving one. While wandering the city's streets as he often did, Rine met a young girl. Her parents having died, she lived alone on the streets. Rine pleaded with his parents to adopt her. However, knowing that they could not provide a proper home for the girl, they instead brought her to an orphanage in the hopes that she could live happily elsewhere. During this time, she was confined to the orphanage grounds, but often escaped to meet Rine. Unfortunately, on one such occasion, Cipher kidnapped her and brought her to their headquarters. From a nearby alley, Rine witnessed the event and pursued them in the vain hope of rescuing the girl. But, as might be expected, he was taken as a prisoner in his rescue attempt. Though both were transformed into morphs, they were then separated. Recently, Rine was able to slip into a Cipher office and locate several records. According to them, the female had died several years ago under the harsh training. And, Rine's family had been "disposed of" when they grew too close to finding him. Torn by guilt and grief, Rine determined to escape Cipher and destroy them by whatever means possible.
Other: Though Rine dislikes Team Cipher, they have undeniably affected his manner of operation and view of life. His merciless style of fighting is largely due to his infusion of Sneasel DNA as well as his training under Cipher.

If in a particularly difficult battle, Rine may remove the bandage about his head.
RP sample: Rine dropped into a crouch as a set of dangerously sharp claws lashed out above him. Leaping back, the morph landed in a kneel, his scarlet eyes narrowing. Before him, a large Persian arched its back and hissed furiously. Baring its fangs, the feline leaped at Rine, its claws extended for another attack. The Sneasel morph swiftly dodged to the side before springing away.

Masking the growl that threatened to enter his voice, Rine quietly said, "Calm down . . . "

The Persian hissed and prepared to attack.

Moving into a defensive stance, Rine quietly studied his opponent. I doubt I'll ever understand the volatile nature of Persian. Even when I agreed to leave "its" lake . . . His eyes glinted with a crimson light. It had its chance.

Growling, Persian started toward Rine at a smooth run. Then, it sprang directly at the morph--its claws aimed toward his throat. Claw met claw as white claws flashed from Rine's hands. Its attack having been deflected, the Persian was slightly thrown back. However, as it twisted its lithe body and prepared to land with its usual cat-like grace, it suddenly found a Sneasel's claws slash across its forelegs as the dark morph shot past it. Though it landed with its paws beneath it, pain coursed through its front legs. Further infuriated, the Persian turned toward Rine to prepare another attack. However, even as it turned, sharp claws tore across its face. Not pausing to flinch, the Persian swiftly turned toward its opponent and once more leaped toward it.

The Sneasel morph turned to one side to avoid the attack, extending one hand and catching the Persian by its neck. Pressing his claws deep into the neck's soft flesh, Rine's eyes shone with a dark battle light. Then, suddenly he cast the Persian onto the ground. As the feline struggled to stand, it was swiftly encased in ice.

Shards of freezing mingled with the wintery air that swirled about Rine's clawed hand. Slowly the cold faded as the battle light drifted away from Rine's eyes. Licking blood from his once-white claws, the Sneasel morph stared mercilessly down at his frozen opponent.

Name: Kya
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Pokemon's DNA you have: Umbreon
Personality: Dark and Mysterious, just like her pokemon form. She is also extremely hotheaded, meaning she can get angry pretty quickly. Just don't get on her bad side, and you'll be fine.
Discription: A tall girl with long, black hair. She wears a black shirt, and jeans. Her eyes are green, and she has those oh-so-famous yellow band markings around her wrists.
RP sample: An Umbreon rested under the shade of an oak. Her lean body was curled up, its sides slowly rising and falling in a rythmic pattern of sleep. An eye opens. Suprisingly, they are not the harsh red of a normal Umbreon's, but a gentle green. They seem to have a calming affect, and no one could tell why. Suddenly, the form writhers, and sitting there is a young woman, around the age of 16. She does nothing but stares blankly at her surroundings. Kya was a Pokemorph, her memory of her childhood erased from memory. She is a loner, but can be a loyal friend...if you can befriend her.

Discription: http://www.pokemorph.com/gallery/jolta/JoltasTickingTimeBomb.jpg

History: Jolta's parents were killed when she was young. She was taken in by an elder couple who raised her into a carefree, funloving person. Katsuo tricked Jolta into following him to Cipher's base, and she became a morph. Many times she's tried to escape from the camp, but they always caught her. Sounds interesting, here's my application:

Name: Berne
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Pokmon DNA: Pidgeot

Description: Berne's above average height and haughty stature give him an intimidating appearance that is not eased by his nearly constantly emotionless expression. His most notable feature is perhaps the large pair of wings protounding from his back and his nearly waist length hair which bears an uncanny resemblance to a Pidgeot's mane (Or whatever you call it), his eyes are yellow with a faint tinge of light blue around the outer rim and his toenails are sharp and curved like talons.

History: Berne's parents died only a few months after his birth in what was classified as a 'tragic boating accident' leaving Berne in the 'care' of his none-too-loving aunt and her husband. Under their cold, and often abusive, nurture Berne grew to be a submisive and timid child which, combined with his frail and sickly body, led to him becoming the school spitoon.

Berne's life soon took a completely different direction when his aunt and uncle sold him to Bob for use in his Pokemorph project.

The strong dose of Pidgeot DNA combined with Berne's submissive nature changed the you boy drastically: He became aggressive where he used to be scared, proud where he used to be modest, confident where he used to be shy, and callous where he used to be caring. In addition to the change in behaviour Berne also underwent a shocking physical transformation, gaining both the afformentioned features as well as formidable strength and reflexes.

Despite the numerous beatings he has recieved for his insubordination Berne reamins both proud and stubborn causing no end to problems for those who would dare to call themselves his masters.

Personality: Berne is haughty, cold, vindictive, stubborn, and proud. Due to the events in his past he is also very reluctant to trust others and will only cooperate with others if he either considers it beneficial enough for himself or if the person in question has earned his respect. He is, however, fiercely protective of those who he considers his friends. Berne is not completely consumed by his avian nature however, and will occassionally show the remnants of his human side in acts of mercy or charity. Usually he considers attachment (unless very carefully thought trough) a weakness however, and will not be afraid to voice his opinion.

Other:While Berne may be proud and haughty he is not one to actively pick a fight. He also has certain taboos which he will not violate regardless of circumstances. His nature is also a bit of a borderline case, so to speak, and may change for one way or the other depending on the people he spends his time with.

RP sample: Pain. Berne's eyes felt as if they were on fire, making contact with broad daylight for the first time in, how long was it? Days? Months? Years? He had lost track of time within the confines of the musty laboratory he had spent far too much of his life in. The electronic collar around his neck (For they would not let him outside without one after his latest escape attempt) burned against his unacustomed skin under the harsh glare of the sun but Berne paid no heed to it, his yearning for flight was too great (It was even great enough for him to refreain from maiming the spectacled bastard, who had kept 'testing' him with a definite expression of enjoyment on his face, when he got the chance).

As he mused on these thoughts Berne was vaguely aware that the two gorillas who had been escorting him had released their grip of him and retreated to a relatively safe distance. With the first hint of a smile that he had worn since arriving to the camp Berne spread out his aching wings and soared up into the sky, soon visible as nothing more than the majestic silhouette of a bird of prey etched against the clear blue sky...

Age: 15
Gender: Male
Pokemon's DNA you have: Moltres
Personality: Quiet, maybe a tad of a smart butt, and lazy.
Discription: Looks just like Ash Ketchum.
History: been a pokemon trainer for a long time, got fat over the years (jk), been traveling the pokemon world catching new pokemon and meeting new people for a long time.
RP sample: Casey walked onto the deck of the boat that had just been mopped up by the boat's crew and saw barrells stacked in a pyramid type of order. He wonderded what it was filled with so of course he headed over to check it out. He poked a whole into it after realizing it was a retarded idea since it was spilling over the just washed floor and needed something to clean it up. He took one of the mops and figured out it wasn't helping because what he was mopping was spreading. A couple hours later you could see a beautiful view of the boat sailing across the ocean from an Island where Casey got tied to a palm tree...

OCC: I'm so sorry! I went camping for 'bout a week. I, once again, am so sorry! Yea! *claps hands* More people! (I really want more people, 'cause this is my first RP) And by the way, everyone is in! And, I won't take any more members, because I'm starting... Now:

My ears twitched, my tail swishing. Ug... I really hate my new form, I thought, blowing a strand of hair out my eyes, it makes it so hard to sneak around. I swiftly dashed out of my hiding spot and into another. I had just past the Boss's Head Quarters. Hopefuly, no one saw me. The orange sun was rising. That ment it was time to run.

"Yes, I must hurry!" Yelled a strong, eager voice, "The corn doesn't pick itself you now." It laughed, walking out of the building. The boss must have paid him extra. That, or he just had coffe, (sp?) I thought, running out of my hiding spot. Now that it had come out, I couldn't run. I mean, he would have seen me for sure! Yea.. then they would have hurt me. Just like last time. Yet again I was too late. I had failed. Next time, I won't. I will soon, never see this place again. But for now, I would stay here, and work. After all, I don't want them to watch me extremely closely.

OOC: Man, I noticed this a few moments too late. My first post will just have to wait til' next week. Hopefully, me and Smarty Arty will be able to find some kind of opening. I'd hate to drop out. Well, enjoy your RPing everyone, I'll have to leave any minute.

July 11th, 2005, 12:05 PM
Woo-hoo! It's about time... >.< Anyway!!

OOC: Oh, and when Anna talks, at the end of everything she says, there's a 'wobba'. It doesn't mean anything, it's just her pokemon DNA poking out a bit. =P

Ah... early morning! It was, at least to me, the best time of the day, the best time to enjoy yourself! Well, enjoy yourself as much as possible; such was life living at work camp.

I stretched out my arms into the air and got a few odd looks from some of the others. My skin was quite rubbery seeing as I was part Wobbuffet, and my arms would occasionally stretch to longer then normal proportions. As some of the others walked by to begin their day of picking corn, I watched their faces. We had been told to come out early today because of the rising number of those trying to escape lately. I had been one of them a week ago; but luckily they had stopped watching me closely a long time ago considering I was so bad at trying to escape that they just didn't figure I was worth their time to watch. Some of my people now emerging looked tired and listless, some looked angry, and some looked sad. A few were even on the verge of tears.

I also noticed little to none of them were talking. 'You know,' I thought to myself, 'if everyone just tried to enjoy themselves and talk, maybe we would feel a little better. Today I'm gonna make some friends!' I was determined. As long as I had the will to live I would try and at least make someone happy today. A smile, a chuckle, anything would do! I looked around for my first new friend...

A girl around my age seemed to be trying to hide behind some things a ways away. I knew she was there because I could see her ears giving her away. I slinked over in my own secretive way to end up right behind her. It didn't occur to me that someone might actually notice the two of us and get us into trouble.

"Hi wobba!" I said to her, attempting to scare her a bit. What better way to meet a new friend?

July 11th, 2005, 1:48 PM
"Hiya!" I yelled cutting the vegtables with the kitchen knifes. The camp cook turned around a gaped.
"You already cut those?" I blushed. My high karate reflexs made me very fast.
"Aaa... yah." He looked at me strange.
"Fine, then you get to cook them too." he said with a smirk. I growled and turned to the stove. Suddenly it caught on fire!
"Eep! Ice beam" the stove froze. The cook turned and slapped me.
"No powers you morph!" He slapped me again and gave me a list of plants to gather.
"I hate this place" I mumbled and walked out side.

July 11th, 2005, 3:17 PM
"Tch. Is that the best you can do?" Rine slowly rose from the ground, wiping a line of blood away from his mouth. Staring defiantly at the Cipher before him, he clenched his hands.

"Hah. You morphs think you're so special, but you're dead wrong." The Cipher member angrily snapped a whip at the rebellious Pokemorph.

Catching the whip on his arm, Rine snarled, "What, because of our 'powers'? I don't need them to beat someone like y--" Suddenly, the male was struck by an electric shock. Within the next second, he fell to the ground, unconscious. Behind him stood another Cipher member, casually twirling a taser.

Glancing toward the first Cipher member, the second one snapped, "I thought the boss told you to give him a whipping."

"If you didn't notice, I was trying."

"Yeah, whatever. Let's just get him to his cell."

This is Drunkentemplar25, in case you're wondering who the heck this random person is. Stupid library computers have something against my username (:( i'm not drunk, i swear!) so now i have to use this one.

Anyway, here i go...
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> :chinese: (side note: that is so racist.)

Sparks flew as Cipher agents battled with a teenage boy. Consumed by Bloodwrath, Eric dealt fierce blows to his captors.
This is his story.

One day the street urchin ERic had been captured by Team Cipher Grunts because of the considerable psionic powers that seemed to emanate from him. The Boss (for the leader of tEam cipher preferred not to be called anything else) saw this as a way to experiment with his new Mew DNA. Unfortunately, during the DNA combining process, another DNA capsule was knocked into the mixture- Mewtwo. This union of DNA between Mew, Mewtwo, and boy created a creature with extraordinary strength. The long-joked about, the legend-in-the-making, Mewthree.

From the outside, Eric looked perfectly normal as an average street punk could seem. But in the inside, he had powers that even he himself could not control. After long periods of practice, ERic was finally able to tap into some of that energy, making him quite a formidable opponent. The Boss used him as a spy and an assassin, putting ERic's ability to bend light to use. Eric was made second-in-command of Team Cipher, until one day.

Eric was walking around the headquarters when he was summoned to the Boss's room. he went there quickly, expecting a new assignment. But inside the room, the boss was not alone. Eric was a bit puzzled when he saw that there was a girl. But what shocked him even more was that there were wires attatched to her, wires that were used for only one purpose- using electricity to torture. The Boss explained that the girl had information that he wanted to know. the girl knew how to reverse the effects of combining DNA, destroying Cipher's attempts to combine human and pokemon. The Boss wanted Eric to use his psychic powers to mentally torture her and get the information.

Eric refused.

Immediately he was captured and put into a cell. But countless times, he excaped, easily bending the iron bars. He was moved to a steel room, but he just teleported out. Finally the Boss accessed the EIN files, which had been created by a fallen Admin long ago. Using the ideas in them, he ordered the construction of a room where psychic powers were dampened, therefore disallowing Eric to use his powers. However, although the plan worked, the boss was handing Eric another weapon by doing this.

The grunts assigned to editing out all of the technology involving Shadow Pokemon did not finish their assignment. two crucial parts were left in- the closing of the heart, and the Hyper Mode. After accidentally subjecting Eric to the hyper mode method, his internal psionic energies were tapped. Mewthree......... woke up.

Which brings us back to the beginning. Eric was indeed part Shadow Pokemon, he hated people and often went into Hyper Mode, which had been forgotten long ago by Cipher and now nicknamed Bloodwrath, named after the lust for blood that it caused. Fortunately, when Eric was not consumed by Bloodwrath, he could think for himself and was like any other human, excepting his powers, which had been belittled down to nothing but telekineses by the pyschic dampeners. Of course, moving small objects with his mind did not help to excape from his prison at all. But even with all these disadvantages, Eric frequently escaped and caused havoc. He was tortured and subdued, but even then, he kept trying like a machine who never ceases working until its commands have been fulfilled. Of course, Eric had only four goals in mind- to escape, to find the girl if she still lived, to destroy Cipher, and to use the girl's knowledge to free himself from possession by Mewthree.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> :chinese: - that's still racist.

Eh. sorry. that sucked. Whenever i write, narrarating has a completely different tone than dialogue. Narrating- nerdy, big words. Dialogue- tough, small, quick words. :dead: -lots of that too. :classic: :classic:

"Stupid Ciphers, they'll pay." I slapped my mouth. "No, I can't think like that. Even if they abuse us, I can't want revenge. No one deserves that." I muttered saw a morph get zapped with a taser. 'He needs help.' I flew up, defing rules, and flew in between him and the ciphers. "Leave him alone!"

"Why its a little morph with wings. Get out of the way sweety!" He hit me with the whip.

"Argh!" I yelled and grapped a nearby stick. Twirling it like a baton, I blocked the whip. Planting it in the ground, I used it a lift, pushing of the ground and slaming intot the guy, feet first. He fall unconsiuos. I looked at the other guy and smiled."I really hate hurting people, do you mine just leaving this morph alone?"

"No way birdy!" he yelled and threw a punch at me. I caught it and flipped him on his back.

"STOP!" I turned and saw the cook running at me. I turned and ran to my small living space, slamed the door, and leaned on it panting. That cook was the only person their I feared. And if my visions were right, I had reason to be.

Casey was surrounded by Cipher agents with stun weapons. He looked perfectly normal like a human, but he could morph at will with the use of his Moltres DNA. Casey smirked at one of the agents and Casey's eyes had a fire ignite inside them. His hair soon went up and started to spike, turning into the colors of a flame. The Cipher agents began to call for backup as they saw this phenomenol morphing of him. Casey had not fully mastered his morphing power yet, but he knew how to acheive its full potential. Rage. He wasn't angered but he sure loved to show off to give the humans a scare, so he did. He returned back to normal and then he let them take him behind a house. They tied him up to a pole and started beating him senselessly from head to toe, swift jabs continuely hit his face and stomach making it hard to breathe. Casey wasn't a big man of hurting people but he wasnt a big man of authority either. "I think i've had enough of this game." The ropes that held him against the pole soon burst a flame and turned to ash. One of the Cipher agents tried to take a punch at him but ripped off his necklace his mother gave him when he was a chid."Now i'm pissed." Casey uppercutted him and turned his back walking over to the stairs of the house and sat on it. "Anyone else want a beating?"

OCC: Are you talking to me LA?

"Ria? Oh hi!" I said quickly, glancing down at a Wobbuffet morph. She looked about my age, and the glance she gave me was different from the normal pokemorph's glaze. It was more.. ..it was something I couldn't understand, just not normal, thats all I knew, just not normal. "Did you uh.. want something? I mean, I don't know you, and you don't know me, so ya, what did ya want, 'cause I mean, I don't need anything from you, so you must want something from me, Right? Ria?"

"You two!" A large, beefy man stood behind us. "What are you doing? Get to work!" I sighed. I was know being watched closer, even though I gave up. Perfect. " I said, get to work!" And with that, he grabbed a whip, and smacked me with it. I cowered, and began to pick some more corn. "Now, or you won't get dinner, and breakfast tomorrow!"

Why did whe have to be treated like dust? I mean, whe should be treated with respect. We are the ones only of our kind. If they keep this up, we won't be alive. And, we could be regular humans, just like bob! And why get into a fight if you don't have too? Its just, we always lose. I hate being a pokemorph. If only my parents wheren't dead, None of this would have happened. They wouldn't have found the DNA mixing papers my parnets had made. No idea why they made it, because it was really stupid, but still... I hate bob.

I will, someday, get revenge.

OCC: Sorry to end it that way, but it seemed real. And, sorry my post is so short. And, I love hating bob! I HATE THAT NAME! Sorry.. :D

July 12th, 2005, 8:59 AM
OOC: Yes, I was talking to you pokegirl. ^^; *looks at post* Hm... maybe I should have made that clearer... *hits head*

"Well how rude wobba!" I said looking annoyed to the Cipher member. He looked at me with a glare and then tossed his whip in my direction as well. I flinched, and then turned to follow the girl I had said hi to earlier. She was, after all, going to be my new friend.

The corn fields were just one of the many wonderful things that our lovely captors made us help out with. There were other places and sites to work at with many kinds of projects and things all helping to benefit everyone else but us. I didn't blame humans though; after all, I used to be one even if I can't remember those times. It was Bob I hated.

Things for psychic types were always different than the others; as psychics we had to strengthen our minds and not our muscles. Bob always liked using psychic pokemorphs for special projects that only they could do. There were a few rumors about mind-control too. However, these things were especially difficult for me to do for some reason. My psychic abilities were not what they should have been, and for that reason I was always the object of punishment and torture. I tried my best; I really did! There was always something holding me back though... like my mind didn't want to perform for them so it just didn't.

A Cipher agent stood behind me as I came to a stop next to the girl I had said hi to. He reminded me of my instructions to use my psychic powers to pick the corn from its stalk. I nodded happily and then my slit-like eyes started to glow faintly.

Corn I could pick; doing complicated psychic readings and movements was something entirely different though.

"So," I said aloud as the corn in front of me began to glow too, and slowly move from the stalk to the basket I was floating around, "Before we were interrupted, wobba, I was going to answer that I did want something from you! I wanted you to be my friend if you like wobba!"

I paused for a moment, and then looked to her, still picking my corn as I did so, "My name's Anna! What's yours friend wobba?"

Though partially unconscious, Rine faintly heard several voices. Two were Cipher agents, but one was unfamiliar and seemed to be defending him. However, after a series of shouts and cries, the voices subsided and silence prevailed.

Groaning and rubbing his head, a Cipher agent slowly stood. "Stupid Pokemorphs," he muttered. After glancing toward the approaching cook and giving a quiet, disgruntled "Thanks", he turned toward the two unconscious forms lying on the ground. "No way I'm carrying both of them," he sighed. After a pause, he knelt beside Rine, snapped handcuffs onto his wrists, and slung him over his shoulder.

Rine's eye faintly flickered open, his scarlet eye staring blankly across the concrete floor that the male lay on. As movement returned to his limbs, the Pokemorph moved into a sit. There was a clank of metal. As he attempted to glance about, Rine realized the source of the sound. About his neck was a heavy collar attached to the wall by a thick chain. In his continued movements, he also discovered manacles about his wrists and ankles. A strange device was placed over his hands, preventing him from extending his claws. Hn. It seems they were pretty thorough . . . guess they learned from last time.

The morph turned as the steel door to his cell swung open. A Cipher member smirked as he casually swung his spiked whip. "Awake, are we? And just in time, too." He lightly fingered the whip as his eyes narrowed. "Maybe you thought you could get away with resisting our punishments. The boss sent me here to prove you wrong."

"Sure. Though we're different types, and I won't see you very often. But yea, any way my name's Lisa. I know, dosen't describe me, eh? Ria," I shrugged, pulling on a large corn stalk, "Now, ria, help me pull this. Oh yea, Can you call me Ria? I mean, I always say it, and it just happens to be part of my DNA, so... will you?" I begin to grab another piece of corn, since my hands where getting redder.

"I said be quite! Now Lisa, we don't want to have to do anything that might hurt you, now do we?" The man threatened, his voice getting softer and softer every word. "Bob won't be so happy with you." He turned to Anna.

"And you, will help destroy her. Now do like I said, and get to work! No one will ever know your missing, so there will be no problem at all," The man said. Man, he was really getting on my nerves! I should have done something later, but no! I had to do as he asked.

"You know? I'm sick and tired of you bossing me around! So stop it! Or else, things could get alot worse. And not for me, 'cause you will all be destroyed!" I yelled, my head spinning with anger. My body began to fill with so much energy, I though I would burst.

I felt as if the world had been destroyed. My body fell, as the man began to whip me hard. His eyes were blazing, his body, full of burt markings. I felt so proud. Until the whip was swung so hard, it dug into my skin, blood rushing everywhere. Way to go Lisa!, I though, my arms leaking tons of blood. Way to go.

OCC: IF anyone can't tell, this was fun! Whee!! :D

What I saw was incredible! What power! I had never seen such an outburst but from a pokemorph that was part Lugia; he had been so angry and upset by the killing of his wife that he nearly destroyed a building that stored grain. My tail flinched in fear as the area around us lit up and then returned to normal. I blinked and then noticed that this was probably not the best thing for Ria to do.

My thoughts were suddenly confirmed by the fact that the agent with little burnt sores all over was now whipping my new friend!

"H-Hey! She didn't mean it, she was just angry; leave her alone!" I pleaded, watching the blood start to trickle out of her. It looked so painful that I could barely look.

"Really?" the agent growled as he continued to whip her, "I don't care, and even if it was an accident, it wouldn't matter!" He continued to slash the weapon against Ria's body. I stared in fear as I realized that this guy was so angry he had no idea how much he was hurting her! I know he wouldn't have cared, but I sure did! If this kept up, she might even be hurt enough to die....

Not my new friend... not when I had just made a friend....

"STOP!" I yelled, my eyes glowing the light blue color they did when I called upon psychic power. The man stopped in mid-whip, he looked as if he were frozen in time. A light blue glowing outline surrounded him, and I could see his malevolent, cold eyes turning to look at me even though the rest of his body couldn't move.

"Did... did I do that?" I asked, relaxing for a moment. I had never done such advanced psychic moves before; though they had tried to train me to do so.

I was afraid that my concentration would break and the agent would be free to start whipping the two of us, so I focused hard on keeping him under my control. It was very hard and I could actually feel him trying to move against me.

"Oh Ria this is bad wobba!" I strained, still trying to keep it up, "What do I do now?!"

July 12th, 2005, 2:17 PM
My eyes burned, but after I watched Anna, I relized (sp?) she cared for me. Alot. I had never felt this way. Anna felt like.. the best friend I could ever have. She saved me, and my life.

"You.. saved.. I mean, you can allways runaway. I wan't to do it, but now I'm like," I griminced at my wounds, "Busted. You can call me dead as soon as Bob is finished with me." And from that, I slowly began to tremble, in fear of my fate.

"But, go. I don't want you to die too. Better be only one of us," I said, looking into her eyes. They gleam hadden't died out yet. "You go. I can't go on like this. Go. Now. Before someone sees us here." And with that, my body gave in, as I fainted on the ground, the wind blowing by us.

July 12th, 2005, 2:37 PM
Slowly peaking out of my den I looked fort the cook. He wasn't there. "Thank Hoho..." I said and started walking to the river that bordered the camp. To get I had to pick my way through a corn feild. Walking through I saw a Lugia morph and Wobba morph. The Wobba morph was holding up a psychic sheild and the Lugia Morph looked hurt bad. A Cipher was attacking them. "This is worst than the last one!" I ran up and kicked the Cipher. pulling out a feather I gave it to the wobba morph. "This will help the injuried one I can handle this guy."

"You little bird! I'm melting your ice!" he charged me. I jumped up and pushed of his shoulders slamming into the ground face first. I pulled his wrists together behind him and sat on him.

"You should have played nice, now you'll pay for it." I tied him up with the whip and stood him. I focused on my power and did a kick to his stomach. Combined with the power of my gust attack, he went flying. "Bye-bye!"

July 12th, 2005, 3:01 PM
"Foolish people..." Casey jumped off the stairs and found a corn field. He wanderded through it and found other pokemorph's like him. "So, you all seem to have quite a bit of power...So I understand you took on these Ciphers. I don't know about you all but I don't plan to stay here long. Are we going to get out or not?" Casey saw through his peripheral vision that tons more of Cipher agents were heading this way. "It's either we take them all on, get our butts beat and go back and clean up their waste, or get out of here."

July 13th, 2005, 6:41 AM
OOC: Um, White_Winter_Wolf, pokegirl's character is part Raichu, not Lugia. My character was just thinking back to a time with a Lugia morph, but that wasn't pokegirl's character. Just making that a bit clearer! ^^

"This will help the injuried one I can handle this guy," the girl said. I looked down at the feather the Articuno girl had just handed me.

"Mmm... kay, what am I supposed to do wobba...," I trailed off, looking back up to see the girl totally kicking butt! Wow, she could really hurt someone; unlike me, I could only dream of being able to do that.

I decided that the Articuno girl hada things under control, and so I turned my attention to Ria. She had fainted, and I had a, erm, feather, and the Cipher agent was, well, getting the crud beat out of him. I placed the feather on her, and before my eyes it began to glow brightly and expand out all around Ria's body. As quickly as the feather had begun to glow, it ceased and was gone. And so were the gashes that had been all over Ria!

"Ria! Wake up wobba! You're all better now!" I said, shaking her lightly.

That's when a boy that appeared to be a morph of a pokemon I had never seen before appeared next to us and seemed to be looking at us very seriouosly, "So, you all seem to have quite a bit of power...So I understand you took on these Ciphers. I don't know about you all but I don't plan to stay here long. Are we going to get out or not?"

"That's what Ria said... leave wobba...," I said, noting the similar idea. Leaving was something I had always tried to do but it had always been on my own. With friends, the chances of actually escaping might be... higher.

The boy continued, "It's either we take them all on, get our butts beat and go back and clean up their waste, or get out of here."

"Well, it couldn't hurt to try!" I said, still shaking Ria to wake up, "After all, Ria and I are probably gonna get it anyway so what is there to lose! By the way, I'm Anna! And I am a Wobbuffet morph wobba!"

I extended my hand to both the girl and boy, not suspecting that many Cipher agents were on their way over to us.

July 13th, 2005, 6:56 AM
I awoke to the sound of Anna talking to another pokemorph. It sounded something like running away. My ears twitched, picking up people running over to us. We would have to escape now, or fear the rath of Bob!

"Quick! Bob's men are coming. Either we run now or never!" I ran to Anna, and pulled her hands. "Follow me!" I jumped over a big barrel, causing it to roll down the hill, knocking into a few bob followers.I tossed aside a large box, pokeballs falling out. I ran further away, and up to a big gate.

"Now what?" I asked, facing Anna, who I had dragged all the way here

July 13th, 2005, 7:03 AM
"Why would you want to waste time fighting these guys when we could be long gone from here? I don't see any sense in that." Casey shaked her hand, "I'm a Moltres morph. The name's Casey. But indeed you are crazy to think we should take them on. Excuse me, I have to do something stupid now, I just hope every pokemorph can walk if they are in this field..." Casey's eyes ignited again with a flame and his hair went into a red/yellow/orange mix of colors and lit the field on fire. "Here's your options: 1. You die with the Cipher agents. 2. Me and you go get dinner somewhere." Casey saw that Anna was already gone "****..." Casey went off in his own way through the fields, the fire wouldnt affect him if he stayed in his Moltres form. Only make him stronger.

July 13th, 2005, 7:26 AM

"Wahhh! Wobbaaa!" I yelled as Ria grabbed onto me and dragged me down and over and her and there until we stood in front of an enourmous gate.

"That was fun! Though, I don't know if I would want to do it again," I said, panting from having to run so much.

"Now what?" Ria asked, looking over at me.

I shrugged, "I dunno, I've never gotten this far before." I looked at the gate. There were men on one side, and men on the other. A total of six or so in all. They would probably chase us after we got to the other side.

"We've got to fight!" I said, smiling, "You up for it?"

I was planning on using the only thing I could really do that was attack worthy. I was going to use my Mirror Coat ability. It didn't last for very long, but it made a protective coat around me and if I rammed into that gate, I could probably break through it.

"I can break down the gate, but I don't know about the guards," I said to Ria, pointing to the men.

July 13th, 2005, 8:48 AM
Rine banefully spat blood at the Cipher agent, his crimson eyes blazing with uncontrolled battle-rage. Merely smiling, the Cipher again swung the whip. Turning, Rine caught the weapon in his mouth and attempted to yank it away. Withdrawing the whip, displeasure passed over the Cipher's features. Next time, those others better put a muzzle on this one. The whip snapped again, causing blood to splash into the air. Falling to his knees, the Sneasel morph snarled as he struggled to stand. Scarlet fluid streamed from his wounds, mingling with the pool of red already formed beneath him.

Lightly swinging his spiked whip, the Cipher laughed as he viewed the wounded prisoner. "You know, you've been a bad little morph--especially after that one time you broke into the boss's office." Smirking, the agent leaned close to Rine, placing the whip handle under his chin to raise the wounded male's gaze. "Now what was that the boss said you read? Something about the deaths of that little girl and your family . . . and how it was all your fault," he taunted, slowly emphasizing the last three words. Then, his smile vanished. Raising his whip, he brought it down heavily. "Pathetic weakling. Of all the the things I hate in this world, one of the things I hate most is you narrow-minded slaves."

Rine did not flinch under the fury of blows. Neither did the Cipher's new insults register in his mind. Slowly raising his eyes, the Sneasel morph stared piercingly at the Cipher. "You made a mistake," Rine growled quietly. The Cipher's whip ceased mid-blow.

"What was that?" the Ciper agent challenged.

"Actually, you made a lot of mistakes." Rine's cat-like eyes narrowed. "But, the one you'll regret the most now . . . is that you taught me to show no mercy."

Seconds later, Rine's cell shattered, releasing the furious ice storm that had previously been contained within. Finding himself freed of his confinement, the Sneasel morph allowed the blizzard to fade. Then, breaking the frozen chains attaching the shackles on his wrists and ankles, he turned and started away--leaving what remained of the Cipher agent buried in the snow behind him. The surfaces of Rine's wounds had turned to scarlet frost, temporarily preventing further blood loss. Shifting his gaze, Rine's eyes narrowed. Someone's lit the field on fire, and it seems there's some type of commotion at the main gate.

The Sneasel morph started toward the facility's side gate. While the guards are occupied elsewhere, the side gate will probably be left unattended. His eyes narrowed. And, any guards who are there will regret it.

July 13th, 2005, 11:07 AM
"Lets do it," I said, my voice alarming the Cipher members. I steaped away from Anna, shocked the gate. It swung open, as six humans came charging at us. I kicked one in the head, banging it upon the gate. Blood rushed every where. A whip struck me on the back, my warm bood ozooing out of my wounds. The man laughed, getting ready for another swing, but I moved aside, letting his whip fall into the dirt. I then smacked him, leaving a dark red mark. I hope Anna is doing good, I thought, then, I let a bundle of my energy out. THe Cipher member fell to the floor, his face still red. There is no way we can beat them! We need help, and fast!

"Help! RIA!" I shouted, trying to alert as many pokemorphs as possible.

July 13th, 2005, 11:44 AM
As he destroyed the side gate, Rine heard Lisa's shout. He hesitated. Then, with a growl, he dashed outside the gate and began to circle around toward the front. Tch. I shouldn't bother to go help another like this. As he ran, he tore off the devices on his hands that prevented him from extending his claws. I'm doing this because I hate Cipher, not for the sakes of the others. Turning the corner of the fence, Rine saw the broken front gates. Moving farther away from the wall, he stood diagonally toward the front entrance. Narrowing his eyes, Rine cast a blast of ice and snow toward a guard.

July 13th, 2005, 1:19 PM
I ran at the ciphers and stoped in front of three. "Hi boys, please could you leave?" i said incently with smile.
"Ha, you wish." they ran at me.
"Okay then." I did handstand and they all looked at be like I was crazy. Suddenly I spinned on my hands and my legs struck alll three of them in seconds. Only one was still consious. "Now will yopu leave?"
"Ya right." he grapped a whip swung it at me. I caught it, swinging it back it strunk him in the neck. He fell.
"Help! RIA!" I turned and quickly ran towards them. Grapping a guards whip well running I swung it at the nearest tree branch and went flying. Spearding my wings I dug my right foot into one guard and my left in another one.

July 13th, 2005, 1:25 PM
"Thank you guys so much!" I said, as two other pokemorphs cam e to help. "As soon as we finsh the last three off, we can runaway!" I sent a bolt of lightning into the air, and soon, a large thunder storm began.

July 13th, 2005, 5:36 PM
((Ooc: Arrrgh, stupid Dennis. Aorry I'm late, guys!!!))

Jolta stood on the roof of a small house, surveying the scene below her. So they had really managed to escape. They had worked together, and had almost made it out of the camp. Was this the way to go? To make friends, and work together?

Jolta's eyes narrowed. Yeah right. No one would trust her, and she would trust no one. The last few people who messed with her ended up being dead. The black Jolteon morph tightened her grip on her sword. Growling, she lept of the building with inhuman speed, landing between the three gaurds.

She moved so fast she was invisible to they're human eyes. In less than three seconds, they lay dead on the ground with wire-thin red lines all oper their bodies. Jolta skidded to a stop, not releasing her sword. Silently, she walked past everyone, ignoring their looks of horror and wonder. Everyone at the camps knew of Jolta; she had almost suceeded in killing Bob.

"Jolta, you do relise you've killed more of my workers?" Said a voice from behind her. Jolta stopped, but did not face the person who had spoke. She knew very well who it was. Bob.

((Sorry if I got something wrong. I don't have enough patience to read all those post. XD))

July 13th, 2005, 6:26 PM
"Bob!?!" I said, looking at a man, no older that 15. He has blode hair, slicked back. He was wearing a buiness suit, yet hand a sword in his hand. My heart started thumping, as I realized I was no match for him. Not alone at least. No one else was a match for him either. Though, maybe the Jolteonmorph was. But, she would need help.

"Yes. It is I, the ruler of this world, thanks to Lisa's mother and father. But now, you are trying to ruin this all. I pity you. Poor pokemorphs. You don't stand a chance. Wait until my new creation is finished! A collar.." Bob's voice echoed through out the camps, and every one could here him. I began to dream about my mother and father. And how non of this would have ever happen, if I hadn't asked late at night, what would happen if human were part pokemon? And that, was the begining of the most horrible nightmearre come true..

"Bob. I loath you. And you loath us. To be the only one of our kind. To have strength no one else has. The power. And, how in the world can you, contral us by collars?" I asked him.

"They can control your mind. Here Jolta, you shall be my first expariment. And if you run, you better watch out. You better watch your back, and watch your friends," Bob gestured to the other pokemorphs, "Because, soon, this might all become a dream. And your parents will be the first ones to go." And with that, he snapped a collar onto Jolta.

((Sorry, But it seems he 'knows' you're a threat, so I desided to do it to you. If you are un happy with this, please PM me, and this will change. And, remember he has control over you now))

July 13th, 2005, 6:48 PM
((Ooc: No, I'm okay with this. It fits perfectly into everything. *evil grin*))

"Hey, get away from m--!!" Jolta had no time to react. Before she knew what was happening, Bob threw something, and it snapped around her neck. Jolta fell to her knees crying out in agony as pain seared through her whole body. This was worse than anything Jolta had ever expriecned- she couldn't control herself anymore.

((So, is everyone allowed to control Bob, or can you only?))

July 13th, 2005, 6:49 PM
((Anyone can, as long as it fits the story))

July 13th, 2005, 7:05 PM

I tried to use my Mirror Coat ability, but I was suddenly surprised by a guard from behind and found myself having to deal with him instead. These things never went off without a hitch! He tried to knock me out, but my Mirror Coat absorbed most of the blow to my head and I countered with a hard punch to his stomach.

"Sorry! I mean, um, take that!!" I said to him as I punched him again. Even with them being heartless Cipher agents, I still couldn't help but feel a slight bit guilty about intentionally hurting someone.

Soon enough, as I knocked out the guard and turned to see how Ria was doing after she had yelled out for help, I saw... her. A girl I had seen a few times before in the work camp. Her name was Jolta, and she was probably the scariest person I had ever seen in my life besides Bob himself. Everytime I saw her someone ended up dying, and she just hurt them all so... ruthlessly.

She killed a few more guards, and then she walked a bit past us. I stared with a fearful expression as she passed by me. She could probably sense my fear... I moved next to Ria to feel a bit more comfortable.

Then there was a voice. One I had heard once or twice before.

It was Bob. And he was talking faster than my brain could seem to register. I tried to ignore it; it wasn't that bad, the small group of us could get past him no problem! Right...? Then he began to mention something that was really worth being afraid of... collars.

Then something else registered in my mind. Ria's parents?? Pokemorphs? They were the reason we're this way? I blinked. What I should have thought of was how awful her parents were; but instead, I suddenly felt very sorry for her. What must it be like to be the one who's very parents were the reason for so much evil?

"Poor Ria," I mumbled in a quiet voice.

"They can control your mind. Here Jolta, you shall be my first experiment. And if you run, you better watch out. You better watch your back, and watch your friends," he indicated he was referring to the rest of us, "Because, soon, this might all become a dream. And your parents will be the first ones to go."

He had attatched a collar to Jolta.

I gasped. Not her! She was so... powerful, to have her be controlled by him would be....

Jolta looked as if she were in pain, and suddenly she had a look to her that suggested that she was no longer there. I did feel sorry for her, but the feeling of intense fear was too powerful.

"Oh Ria what do we do wobba?!" I asked her, looking nervous, "It'll be alright, won't it?"

July 14th, 2005, 5:59 AM
"I have no idea," I mumbled, scared of the now even more powerful Bob. "We can't take both of them. We need more help, but if I scream ria.. for help, Bob will know what I did." I gulped silently. "And then I'll be the next one to go."

July 14th, 2005, 6:05 AM
Casey could hear commotion at the gate and he knew they all had forgotten him. Bob didn't even know much information on Casey to pick up on who he was, he just thought he was a volunteer who worked at the camp since his Pokemorph features are very very well hidden. Casey didn't have a collar yet but he could hear Bob was issuing them over there and Casey just stood there pondering what to do. The field was stil a blaze and he was still in his Moltres form. Since he could shift into having Moltres powers and shift back to being a regular human he had to work at both powers. It was like having the super strength to deck 20 men within a minute and then not having the power to open a simple potato chip bag in human form before...Casey swiftly ran to the fields and shifted back into his human form. He walked right up to Bob. Bob stared at him wondering why he just came along out of nowhere. "Arent you...a stocker boy or something?" Casey's face went a little red, "Yeah." Bob said, "You know, do you see these 'things' infront of me. They aren't like us, they are different. They deserve to die." Some of the others recognized who he was but they didn't say a peep. "Anyway's kid, we got things under control. Go home." Casey walked outside a free morph and didn't want to screw it up.

Standing some distance away at the edge of the forest, Rine's eyes narrowed. I knew it was a bad idea to come here. He lightly touched the collar about his neck that had been used to restrain him in his cell. But, as long as I have this on, they can't put the other collar on me. The Sneasel morph paused. Unless . . . Rine shook his head slightly. No, those grunts wouldn't have thought of that. And, their boss wouldn't have either. At the least, I hope not.

Clenching his hands, Rine growled softly. Sorry to do this to you, all you other morphs, but . . . The gem on the male's forehead shone out with a sudden light as a blindingly thick ice storm surrounded the facility. Hopefully, you'll be able to find your way out and use this blizzard as a cover. Without a word, Rine turned and vanished into the freezing white.

July 14th, 2005, 10:00 AM
Casey could feel a blizzard coming up from behind him as he walked away. "Wtf" Casey turned into his Moltres form and went back into the facility going to try to save the others. Bob could see Casey shift into his Moltres form from a distance "What! I never would've thought of that!" A few seconds before he could get a collar out for him he was decked in the face by Casey while he was heading towards the other Morph's. He could'nt find any others in the blizzard except Anna and Ria and pulled them out of there to a safe place away from the blizzard.

July 14th, 2005, 11:09 AM

I'll be back in a couple of days. Trying to get over the misery of it.

July 14th, 2005, 11:52 AM
My eyes clouded up, because of the blizard overhead. I looked at Jolta, and began to form a plan.

"Anna, go! I'll catch up later!" I shouted to Anna, who was looking kinda worried. "Go!" I picked up the head of Jolta. But instead of picking up her entire body, I got picked up instead.

"Here we go Lisa," Bobs voice rang in my head as he placed an extreamly heavy collar on my neck. Click. The collar tightened, and I fell to the floor. All the thoughs I had had before had vanished, and was replaced with one, new thought. Obey the master. Obey the master. I got into a fighting position, and stood, ready to attack anyone who try to harm the master.

OCC: Bob is the 'master'

July 14th, 2005, 12:26 PM
Some distance away, Rine shook himself free of snow. Then, with a few swift slashes of his claws, the shackles about his ankles shattered. But, as the morph prepared to destroy the restraints about his neck and wrists, he paused. No . . . not yet. I'll keep this collar to protect me from the other one . . . and to remind me of what I must do. Lightly running a claw over the band of metal about one wrist, Rine snarled. Until Cipher is destroyed . . . until Bob is destroyed, I can't consider myself free.

Starting away from the prison facility, the Sneasel morph glanced back. The blizzard still covered the structure, enveloping it in freezing shards of winter. But, in a few minutes, the storm would fade--leaving only a layer of snow and ice. Rine's scarlet eyes shimmered with a light colder than the blizzard as he hissed, "I'll look forward to the day when my claws are drenched with your blood, Bob. Until then, enjoy yourself."

July 14th, 2005, 12:39 PM

The snowstorm was blinding me a bit, but I could definitely make out Ria.

Ria turned to me, "Anna, go! I'll catch up later!" She looked back to Jolta that still stood before us.

Just leave her? How could I just leave her when she so obviously needed someone to help her and be a friend?! I hesitated, torn between the way I felt and what my friend was saying to me.

"Go!" she repeated, and so I turned to run off. Suddenly I heard Bob's voice address my friend, and I looked to see him snap a collar onto Ria's neck, one of those mind-control things.

"N-no!" I said outloud, and then realized that I had to run, because, well, Ria's sacrifice would be for nothing if I got caught too. I nodded, took one last look at Ria with her new accessory on and saw Bob busy checking it out.

"Bye Ria... I'll help you out of this somehow; I promise!" I said quickly, noting that she had seen me now and that I should race off before Bob could catch me too. Not that I could do much good for him anyways....

I ran off, past the gate, and away from this place as fast as my pitch-black tail could carry me. Tears were falling from my slit-like eyes as I ran, but I didn't notice; my mind was focused on one thing: getting as far away as possible. And I had to find one of the others. I just couldn't do this all alone.

When I got pretty far from the gate, I slowed a bit and looked around. "Hello?!" I called, looking around, "Anyone there? And if you're part of Cipher, then don't bother to answer back!"

Of course, if someone had been from Cipher, they probably would have answered back. But there wasn't; and I continued to call once in a while as I walked, hoping anyone but a Cipher agent would answer.

July 14th, 2005, 5:03 PM
ooc: no one pays attention to me eh lol forget it whatever

"I'll just leave the other pokemorphs to die I guess." Casey had a look on his face that showed no guilt whatsoever. Casey sat on the ground looking around and yawned. "I wonder what to do...I guess I could light this place on fire again." Casey clenched his fists and the snow that was building up on the ground melted as the glowing flame around him started to grow. He let out a loud yell and the flame engulfed most of the facility, burning almost anything. The blizzard let up a bit and Casey prefered things burnt anyways.

July 14th, 2005, 5:12 PM
OCC: Yes we did. We couldn' do anything though, you had left

July 14th, 2005, 5:25 PM
ooc: weird, didnt seem like it but okay, sorry my bad.

July 15th, 2005, 10:17 AM
"So, someone else did escape after all." Rine perched in a tree, calmly removing whip spikes--ones that had become embedded during his earlier beating--from his open wounds and allowing his blood to drip freely on the ground. Tossing another spike aside, the Sneasel morph turned his crimson gaze directly to the seemingly panicked Wobbuffet morph. "I saw you at the gate, but where's your friend--that Raichu morph?" Shifting to fully face Anna, his allowed a slight smirk to pass over his features as he laughed coldly. "Don't tell me she's been captured, too?"

July 15th, 2005, 12:50 PM
Seeing my chance, I bolted out the gate. Running from the others I jumped up and flew.I needed to get out of there. I keep hearing the voices of the Ciphers I killed. Landing at Indigo I ran into Lorielli's room. "Mame! please help me!" Lorielli ran up to me and gasped.
"Your morohed with articuno child! I must take you to the Ciphers!"
"No! I just ran from there! The ciphers are evil! I need your help. I need to know about Articuno!"
"Oh dear. Fine. If you go into a trance you'll learn all you need to know." I nodded my head and bowed down. When i opened my eyes I was in a very cold place. In the ice i saw everything i wanted to know about articuno and my powers. Suddenly I saw Casey trapped in a blizzard. Using my power I made the blizzard let up. getteing out of my trace i ran out of the room. I had to help him!

July 15th, 2005, 2:25 PM

I turned around quickly as I noticed the Sneasel pokemorph. "I saw you at the gate," he said to me,"but where's your friend--that Raichu morph?"

"U-Uh," I said, unsure of what to say about that. Ria was... well I tried not to think of it just yet.

"Don't tell me she's been captured, too?" he laughed. Not exactly the best of people skills; was it?

I looked down at the ground with tears now coming up in my eyes. "She-she... she has been captured. He stuck a c-collar on her and now she isn't Ria anymore," I didn't want to cry, crying was weak and I was supposed to be happy, "She was my-my friend. Why...? Why is it just when I find someone else, they get taken away from me?"

It was more of a question to myself. I couldn't remember anything from my childhood, or anything from the time before I was with Bob, but I knew that my parents had died when I was very little. And while I didn't remember losing them, I could still feel it. I remembered that when I first came to this camp, I tried to make a friend with a little boy, a Bulbasaur morph, but he was soon killed by the Cipher agents. Now Ria was gone too....

All of those times I never got depressed, never faultered in my resolve; but now? I sat down on the ground, and looked back up at the boy before me.

"I hate the thought of killing or hurting anything; but if anyone deserves to die, it's that man," I said tears still coming down, "Bob."

July 15th, 2005, 3:51 PM
Casey had no strength left and he couldn't do anything. He was completely helpless, alone, and hurt..

July 15th, 2005, 4:36 PM
So she's been taken, too. Great--another obstacle. As Rine flicked the last of the spikes away, he realized that the Wobbuffet morph was crying. "Wha--?" After a pause, the male sighed in exasperation before springing down from the tree. And now I've set another morph crying . . . mind as well do Bob's job for him, huh?

Approaching the Wobbuffet morph, Rine flicked a little snow toward her. "Come on, we should get going." Turning away, he said, "So that Raichu morph's been taken and you don't like it? Well, then, we'd better fix that problem and get her back." He lowered his voice slightly, adding, "Listen, sometimes, when you lose something precious you can't get it back. But, if there is something truly precious to you, then you should still be willing to give everything to protect it. If your companion wasn't that valuable to you, then leave her and take your freedom. But, if you're willing to give everything to get her back, then let's go."

July 15th, 2005, 5:35 PM
Jolta ran darted in and out of the trees, running as fast as she possibly could. Her orders were to find the other Morphs. Once she did, she was supposed to attack them, and keep them all together until Bob and his team got to the scene.

****it, I can't believe this... Jolta thought angerly, her ebony fur crackling with electricity, Bob actually got a collar on you. This is... is... sickening!! I don't like or care for the others, but they haven't done anything... I can't do this!! And yet, she was.

The black Jolteon Morph skidded to a stop. There were the escaped Morphs, not even 10 feet away from her. "Thunder Wave!!!" Jolta shouted, a ball of energy forming in her hand. She hurled it at them, regretting every moment of her attack. "No... I... r.... RUN!!!" Jolta cried, trying to fight the collar. She refused to fight against her will. But her will didn't seem strong enough. There was another wave of pain, and Jolta couldn't fight back.

The Morphs just stood there, watching her fall to the ground. "Di...Didn't you hear me?! RUN!!!" Jolta cried in exasperation, pushing herself to her feet again. She could already feel the electricity of another attack gathering in her body.

July 15th, 2005, 6:40 PM
[OOC: Hopefully this is post is in the correct context.]

Rine stiffened, extending his claws as he sensed a presence.

"Thunder Wave!!!"

A pillar of ice suddenly burst from the ground, acting as a lightning rod and attracting the electricity.

"No... I... r.... RUN!!!"

Rine did not turn and said nothing, rather simply withdrawing his claws.

"Di...Didn't you hear me?! RUN!!!"

The Sneasel morph still did not turn. Rather he stated simply, "There's no need to. So don't tell me to."

July 15th, 2005, 7:03 PM
Jolta involentarily growled, charging at the Sneasle Morph. She punched at him, lightning forming around her hand. She couldn't stop herself from attacking. These people didn't deserve to be hurt- they had done no wrong.

At that moment, Bob had arrived at the scene. He jumped off the helicopter, and was followed by men in suits with stun guns. No!!! Jolta thought in mid-attack. Then, the helicopter burst into flames and was followed by an explosion. Everyone was thrown off the feet. In the flames stood Blaze, the talking Growlithe. He was the only person Jolta trusted.

"You little rat!!" Bob roared, but his only responce was a wave of flame blown in his direction.

July 15th, 2005, 7:30 PM
A wall of ice suddenly formed itself beside Rine, catching Jolta's hand as she punched. As the ice sealed itself about Jolta's arm, the Sneasel morph slipped to one side, coating her collar with frost with the intention of causing it to become brittle. Then, swiftly extending his claws, he slashed at her collar.

Springing back after his attack, Rine briefly shifted his gaze as a helicopter arrived. At the sudden explosion of the helicopter, the male raised both arms to block while automatically creating another ice shield. As the shield shattered, he turned to view the burning wreckage. Seeing the Growlithe prepare another flame attack, the Sneasel morph snarled as he formed a blizzard about the morphs--leaving the Cipher agents to suffer whatever fate they might meet.

July 15th, 2005, 8:04 PM
Bob shielded himself with his arms, and rolled out of Blaze's shooting range. Blaze missed his attack on the person who had made these people's lives misrable but didn't care. "Jolta!!" The small Growlithe cried, pacing around the blizzard. He braced himself as a icy wave rolled over everyone, freezing them in their tracks.

Jolta gained more control of herself. She fell to her knees, trying to rip the collar off her neck. "I can't... get... this... ****ing... thing off!!" There was another jolt of pain but the Morph ignored it. She dug her claws into the ground, swearing. The stupid collar just wouldn't come off. "**** it...!!!"

July 15th, 2005, 8:08 PM
An opening formed in the blizzard, allowing passage for the Growlithe. His eyes alight with energy, Rine turned toward the fire Pokemon. Raising his voice over the wind, he called, "I can only make the collar so brittle with my power. Both, if the collar were to move between sudden cold and warmth, there might be a chance." The Sneasel morph raised his claws. "If the collar were a little weaker, I could easily slice through it."

July 15th, 2005, 8:18 PM
"Right!!" Blaze called over the roar of the snowstorm. He had to aim this perfectly; if he missed the collar, he would hurt Jolta. Come one, Blaze, you can do this... Oh man... After a minutes hesitation, he blew a small flame onto the collar. It heated up, burning Jolta's neck slightly, then cooled down once more. Jolta had become completely limp. Between the freezing cold blizzard, Blaze's fire, and the constant pain from the collar, she had no energy to do anything, just be hurt over and over again.

July 15th, 2005, 8:54 PM
Stripped of his powers for the moment, living through this was all that was on his mind. He turned as cold as you would be when you stand outside in freezing temperatures when you've been soaked with water. It was getting harder to walk by every step. It was getting harder to see by every snow piecee blinding his sight. He fell to his knees and hit the ground face first.

July 15th, 2005, 9:02 PM
Immediately following Blaze's fire, Rine froze the collar--encasing it in ice and causing it to crack slightly. Good. Looks like it's ready. The Sneasel morph snapped his fingers once. The ice broke and fell to the ground. Then, kneeling cautiously beside the Jolteon morph, Rine raised his claws. With a single, swift movement, the male shattered the collar.

July 15th, 2005, 9:17 PM
"Hmn..." Jolta groaned, attempting to stand. She just collasped, landing heavily on her side. Another scar had formed on her neck, but they were small and just blended in with the rest of her. Her while life had been a battle. She was always fighting, never stopping. And now... Someone saved her? She was so confused.

"Jolta? Jolta, please, answer me...!!" Blaze said weakly, trying to push her upright.

July 16th, 2005, 5:14 AM
"What.. haHappened?" Ria muttered, shivering like crazy. "And, why is it so.. cold?" Ria stood up, only to find her legs where too weak. She fell, but got p after a minute or so, for she seemed to have recovered her strength.

"Anna?!" Ria called out into the blizzard, though her voice simply disappeared in the hail and snow.

July 16th, 2005, 8:47 AM

I stared up at the Sneasel morph next to me, and thought quietly to myself. He was right; I had to try and set her free, but how? I had no awesome elemental powers, no knowledge of how those blasted collars worked. I stood up to follow him back to the others, when suddenly Jolta showed up.

I felt the fear trickle down into me again as I looked into the fearsome morphs eyes. I tried to tell myself that she was just a poor person stuck in horrible circumstances, but her enormous amount of power scared me.

"I-I uh...," I mumbled, afraid to do anything. What could I do anyway?

Jolta told us to run; she seemed to have regained some of her self. But the Sneasel morph didn't run. I was about to, but seeing him becoming unafraid made my resolve a bit stronger.

I stood where I was.

What happened next was whirl of events. Another blizzard was started, cutting off Bob's access to us; the little talking Growlithe appeared, helping to try and get Jolta's collar off. Eventually, with the Senasel morph and Growlithe's help, the collar broke, and Jolta was set free.

I suddenly awoke from my temporary frozen state and walked up to them.

"She's... free wobba?" I paused, looking at the Sneasel morph, "That was so cool wobba!! You two are most certainly the most awesome sneasel morph and talking Growlithe ever!" For the first time since this mess had started, I had a big crinkily smile on my face. The kind of smile only a Wobbuffet morph could produce, and the only kind of smile a Wobbuffet morph could love.

I looked down at Jolta's limp body, "She'll be okay wobba. I think she's just a bit tired; she needs to be healed!" It was hard to yell over the continuing blizzard.

Suddenly I thought I heard my name being called out by someone... I listened for a moment, but then I didn't hear anymore. I thought for a second and then turned, "Ria?! Was that you?!"

July 16th, 2005, 9:37 AM
Jolta managed to push herself to her feet. She stood there for a moment, trying to rethink about everything that had happened. She had the collar put on, she was forced to attack the morphs, Bob had her sword- Bob... Jolta's lips curled into a firesome growl as she ran out of the protection of the blizzard.

Bob was trying to get his minions to go into the blizzard. When they saw Jolta without her collar on the dropped their weapons and ran. Only Bob remained. He held her sword. "No, now, Jolta, you were never able to kill me before. What make you think you can now?" He asked, a smug smirk playing on his lips.

His only responce was having electricity thrown at him. The first two he managed to dodge, but the last on hit him on the shoulder. Bob held his limp left arm, glaring at Jolta. Everything seemed to freeze.

July 16th, 2005, 12:15 PM
Though he did not smile, Rine allowed the harshness to fade from his features as the Wobbuffet morph grew excited. Then, returning his attention to the present, the male slightly lessened the blizzard as Jolta exited it. His eyes narrowed. Bob is right here . . . And I can already almost taste his blood.

The blizzard vanished, reforming to circle about both Bob and the morphs. Making an opening in the blizzard, Rine turned to Anna. "This is your chance to save the Raichu morph. Your powers may not be the same as some, but use what you have." Then, shifting his scarlet gaze to Bob, he spoke to Jolta. "Both of us have a vendetta against this guy, but fighting each other would be useless." The Sneasel morph bared his fangs with anticipation. "So, how about a little blizzard cage match?"

July 16th, 2005, 3:58 PM
Casey awoke up to a raging headache. He got up and pressed on trying to find someone, anyone for that matter. He was beginning to lose consiousness again but kept walking.

July 17th, 2005, 5:42 AM

I nodded, listening closley to what the Sneasel morph said to me. After all, I believed that he had perhaps had a bit more experience in the area of fighting. I was better at being stealthy and hiding and being happy.

"Um, right, so lemme think wobba," I said, thinking to myself. What could I do that could help? I could make small things float, I could temproarily freeze things, but that was just that one time with Ria... I could manipulate small and very dumb pokemon, and I could use Mirror Coat to protect myself from being hit hard. Hmm... I looked around and noticed that there was still a lot of snow on the ground around us.

"Ooh! I've got it!" I expressed happily, clapping my hands together.

I stared a bit at the ground, but since this was the only thing I really knew how to do well, I didn't need to concentrate that hard. Soon I had several large balls of snow rolling around in the air, and I looked hard at Bob as I sent them flying at him.

"Not to easy to see what's going on when snow is in your face huh?" I said excitedly, the snowballs hitting him in the face. A few missed as he dodged out of the way a bit, but the first couple hit him dead on and temporarily blinded him.

He pawed at his face, trying to wipe the snow off, and I remained calm, knowing that I had at least given the others a window of opportunity.

I jumped a bit though as soon as I heard a voice from behind me again. One that sounded like Ria.

July 17th, 2005, 5:26 PM
Jolta wasn't going to let anything or anyone distract her now. She ignored the others, analyzing the situation. Snow was made out of water, and water and electricity didn't mix all too well. A cruel smirk appeared on her lips.

"Blaze, Flamthrower."

Bob was showered in flames, and was now burned as well as dripping wet. Jolta charged up, electricity leaping off her body. "Thunderbolt," she said smugly, thrusting her arms forward. A beam of lightning shot from them. Bob put his arms up in attempt to block her attack...

OOC: I've just read through the posts and I think it's too early to kill of this big a bad guy yet.

Swoop Berne heard the mental command of the 'master', courtesy of the helmet latched on to him along with the rest of the armor he had been given recently. Berne gritted his teeth, knowing that pain would soon follow if he didn't do as he was told. Against his will, Berne swooped down between the morph and the human, his armor deflecting the jolt of electricity.

Bob regained his composure with a smug smirk "Do you honestly think I went into this unprepared Jolta? This is Berne, the latest product of our weapons department. He will be teaching you a lesson in humility. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got bussiness to attend to."

Maim them. sounded the command in Berne's mind Just make sure to leave enough for med-lab to revive. Bob signaled for a nearby helicopter to pick him up, leaving Berne behind to do his dirty work.

July 18th, 2005, 7:13 AM
[OOC: Alright. It should add interest to the story.]

Seeing a helicopter approach, Rine increased the power of the blizzard in an attempt to repel it. However, at his current energy level, the helicopter was too high to be struck by any of his ice pillars. Tch. I should have expected this. The Pokemorph's clawed hands stiffened. It seems the chance I wanted--the day I awaited--has not yet arrived. A fanged smirk passed over Rine's face. But, I can wait.

July 18th, 2005, 7:19 AM
Casey pretty much stranded alone with no one to talk to and lost, started thinking of bad thoughts. "No one is going to rescue me...no one's going to help me...i'm powerless." Then a flashback of terror was injected into his brain making remember the suffering of his brothers, sister's and the rest of his family. The Cipher Agents were hunting down Pokemorph's when he was a kid and they had barged into their house killing the babies, torturing the women, and putting the men into work camps. Fortunately, Casey was small enough to hide in a box where no on looked and from that day on he was on his own ecountering dangers far worse than this stupid camp. Casey punched the ground and with this sudden rage filled up in him it renergized his strength. Casey was on fire.

From within the helicopter, which had quickly moved to a relatively safe distance, Bob observed the situation through a camera in Berne's helmet. What are you waiting for? he asked, noticing Berne's hesitation Attack!, he sent along a short jolt of pain to emphasize the urgency of his command.

Briefly, the pain overwhelmed Berne's senses causing him to falter. Berne straightened up with a refurbished hatred for his 'master'. The soldiers weren't of any help in this matter, he would have to face the three morphs and the Growlithe alone. The way Berne saw it, it was a no-win situation: If he won, something that the added protection of his armor might make possible, he'd have to get back to serving Bob, if he lost the morphs would most likely kill him for interfering. Another, much firmer, shock of pain coursed through Berne's body, disrupting any thought. Guided by his predatorial instincts he leapt backwards, rebounding from a nearby tree and charging at the Sneasel morph at full speed.

July 18th, 2005, 7:46 AM
Seeing the armored morph charge him, Rine lowered himself into a crouch. Then, as his opponent drew near, the morph sprang upward and over the morph, slashing his claws at the area connecting his wings to his back--a place at which there would logically be a gap in armor. Landing, he swiftly spun about and placed a hand on the Pidgeot morph's back, extending an thick icicle from his palm. Then, immediately following the attack, he sprang back and away, leaving the ice with the armored morph and withdrawing his claws. He's fast, but that's to be expected from a Pidgeot morph. Rine's crimson eyes narrowed. I'll just hope I'm faster.

OOC: If it seems a little weird yeh I changed my name, I am former Goken.

Casey found a small facility, well it seemed small from the look on the outside. There were lasers going in random directions, it seemed impossible to tell where they would go. Casey took out his headphones from his pocket and played a song. It was europeanish. He went under, over and every position possible to get to the other side. He made it and ran down to see what they were trying to protect. He opened a big metal door that had bolts rusted and creaked. He could see Pokemorph's in tube's like they would put aliens in. He stood around in awe.

July 18th, 2005, 8:35 AM
Ria growled, watching pokemorphs attacking each other. Though she wanted to help Anna, her Master disagreed. So, she attacked. Ria pounced on Anna, her eyes on Bob. He glanced at her, sending a his thoughts.

Lisa, after you finish her off, get that Jolteon morph away from me! Ria jumped off Anna, her heart pounding. Her tail began to twitch, a bolt of thunder shooting strait out at Anna. Ria stood there, her eyes linked with Bobs.

"Anna!" She called, her face ever so worried. Ria's collar sent a shocking surprise to her, and she stopped, and went back into battle.

"Jolta. Step away from the Master, and you won't be hurt," Ria growled, glaring at Jolta, Bob right behind Ria. "Now, and you won't have to worry about licking your wounds after I beat you."

Anouncer: And welcome to the fight of the year! In the ring we have Jolta and Ria. These two pokemorphs are well challanged. Who will win? So... Get ready to fight!

Crowd: Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fight! Fight! Fight!

Sorry about that. I thought it would be funny with an anouncer, and a crowd cheering and stuff. But not in the RPG though..

OOC: Like my old avatar said: "Place your bets now" ^_^

The sharp pain, combined with the sudden chill on his back, snapped Berne back into focus, pulling out the icicle without as much as flinching he considered the situation. The morph was fast, the first to evade one of Berne's charges, and those claws were awfully sharp. Could he use it to his advantage? Maybe he thought Just maybe.... Gathering his strength Berne cried out: "The helmet! Attack the helmet!" earning a mind-numbing shock from Bob that sent him back into a mindless battle frenzy. Employing a new tactic Berne kicked up a powerful gust of wind that knocked his opponent of his feet, slamming him against a nearby rock while simultaneously covering the battlefield with a blinding cloud of dust and debris. Berne seized on the opportunity, flying upwards until he reached a sufficient altitude, at which point he elegantly spun around in mid-air, aiming a sharp kick from his taloned foot onto his foe's face as he dived downwards, his keen eyes unbothered by the obscuring cloud.

OOC: I'd better not place my bet, seeing as I usually lose in those things. =P

"Ria!" I said happily as I turned to see her. I had completely forgotten that Ria was under the control of Bob. Well, that amnesia didn't last too long considering the next thing I knew Ria had leaped onto me and I felt as if something was punching every part of my body.

"R-Ria!" I grunted trying to decide what to do. But how could I fight Ria? She was my friend and I didn't want to hurt her. Besides, what was I going to do?! I closed my slit-like eyes and hoped something would just happen.

But then I felt an odd sensation of crackling air around me, and then a horrible jolting pain went through my body, sending an awful shockwave through me.

I felt Ria get off of me, though I was twitching a bit from the electricity, and I thought I had heard her call my name. I opened my eyes and saw her threatening Jolta.

'No!' I thought to myself, 'Ria stop...!'

I tried to get up and failed. My body was too twitchy and wasn't responding. I saw the Sneasel morph and the Pidgeot morph in a tussle of their own, and I tried once more to get up. If Ria hurt Jolta or killed her, then the strongest of us would already be down. I may be afraid of Jolta, but that didn't mean I wouldn't stick up for her a bit. That, I would do for anyone.

"R-Ria! I'm sorry wobba...," my voice trembled as I spoke as loud as I could convince my throat to do.

Then my body glowed a with a light red outline and I ran forward like I had planned to with the gate we both had tried to escape. I knocked hard into the side of Ria, she recieving the full blow of my crash, but me recieving little pain with my Mirror Coat on. I had aimed for her to crash into the large tree near us, but I missed a bit, and she fell instead onto the ground.

'Darn!' I cursed to myself, I had wanted to knock her out. At least then we could have attempted to get her collar off.

"Ria! Get up and defend your Master! I will not tolerate such weakness against a pathetic attack like that!" Bob called to the raichu morph, glaring at the both of us.

"Ria! Get up and defend your Master! I will not tolerate such weakness against a pathetic attack like that!" Bob called to me, glaring at Anna and my self. I groaned, pulling my self up, and running to Bob.

"Your word, is my .. comand," I said, panting deaply.

"Good. Now hurry up!" Bob yelled at me. I sighed. I would be out fast at this rate! My legs stood taller, and my arm spread apart, as I looked into Anna's eye. Sorry. I don't want to hurt Jolta or you, but as long as, I jerked my head toward bob, He controls me, I can't doing anything to help you. Move, or ... well, you know what I have to do. And with that, I jumped up, shocking Jolta, Anna, and other pokemorphs on my way down.

"Go. Or else," I muttered. Though my voice was weak and tired, it was full of threat, and hatered I did not know of.

Jolta glared at Ria, a snarl escaping from her lips. "If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get..." She growled, not moving. That attack was strong, but nothing as harmful as the pain she got being betrayed by him... Just the the of him enraged the Jolteon Morph. Electricity crackled around her.

Jolta started speeding towards Ria, but then stopped, making a quick turn left and grabbing her sword. She skidded to a stop, holding it and counculating how much it would take to take this Morph down without killing her. Jolta would have fought with her electricity, but against a Riachu Morph it was useless. Her yellow eyes sparked with joy. Battling was Jolta's best talent.

She jumped, bringing the blade high above her head, and landed behind her opponent, leaving the thinest scratch on her back. She turned on one foot, then dashed under Ria's raised arm. If she kept moving, it would be harder for Ria to hit her. "Get back!!" Jolta called to Anna while passing her by, "Stay with Blaze, he'll protect you!!!"

OOC: From now on, I'm not Casey anymore in this. I'm Geoffrey.

Geoffrey felt alone and isolated and creeped out at the same time. He ran outside of the place screaming like a little girl. (adding boring humor) He was back at the lasers wondering how he'd get out of this one.

July 18th, 2005, 6:32 PM
"Help......me....I cant....control...it..." I rasped, I could barely talk........

July 18th, 2005, 7:48 PM
Geoffrey had no time for dance-to-avoid-da-laser games. Geoffrey turned into his Moltres form and floored the place with fire. The fire burnt out where the lasers were coming from and he ran out of the facility because he could hear someone was in danger. He was traveling faster than the legendary dogs could run and he was making a trail of smoke and fire as he flew. He could see Bob turn around with wide eyes, he'd never seen a pokemorph so wild and raged. A collar flew towards his direction but Geoffrey dodged it and was flying around to try to not be caught by it. This was going to be tricky.

Raising both arms to block the wind, Rine allowed himself to be slammed against the large rock, though he was able to retain a somewhat unsteady footing. Then, balancing himself as he stared upward, his eyes narrowed as he carefully watched his opponent--using his control of the current blizzard to dispel the interfering dust and debris.

As the Pidgeot morph came down with an attack, the surrounding blizzard vanished. Swiftly dodging to the side, Rine avoided the strike--leaving the armored morph between himself and the rock. Directing both hands toward his opponent he released an icy blast--one far smaller than his previous blizzards, but one that had the same power concentrated in a smaller area. The helmet . . . it does seem to be the source of Bob's control. But, I can't be sure whether the one who spoke to me was the morph himself or Bob controlling him. Either way, I can only afford to attack when my strike is sure.

When several electric attacks found themselves dangerously close to striking the Sneasel morph, several pillars of ice materialized--again acting as lightning rods to prevent the electricity from striking Rine. Then, as the attacks were directing elsewhere, the pillars vanished into the ground.

As the miniature blizzard struck his helmet Berne felt the strange haze that had been clouding his mind lift slightly, the pain that had consumed him toning down to a controlable level and, most crucially, Bob's persistent commands ceasing to echo within his skull. To Berne's dismay the helmet was still in one piece, but it now had a significantly brittler quality to it, the drastic temperature change having left several deep cracks in it. A strong enough blow would probably shatter the darn thing Berne thought Perhaps something like... a faint trace of a smile crossed his face as he noticed that the Sneasel morph had taken up a position behind the rock. He might even be able to make it look like an accident. Pretending that he was still under Bob's control Berne charged forward in a headbutt although aiming for the rock rather than his opponent.

With an appropriately loud *crash* sound the helmet on Berne's head shattered as it came into contact with the rock. Ignoring the dull ache that was beginning to spread from his forehead the morph looked around the battlefield, in full conciousness for the first time. Surveying the grim expressions on the faces of the various morphs struggling around him, especially the one he had just been fighting, Berne realized that the fight was still far from over. He assumed a defensive stance, unsure whether his opponent would realize, or care, that Bob was no longer in control.

Bob, now painfuly aware that the situation was rapidly sliding out of his hands, began to feel increasingly vulnerable. A sentiment his employees seemed to share:
"Shall we issue a retreat, sir?" asked a nearby aide who was tending to the burn wounds Bob had recieved.
"No!" Bob snapped, smashing his uninjured fist on a small table with such vigour that all hechmen in sight cringed backwards "Not yet..." he took a deep breath and tried to calm down "Get me whoever designed that armor, there must be some kind of failsafe!"
"Yes sir." another aide replied hastily, scrambling to get to a nearby phone as fast as possible.

OOC: For good? :(

Geoffrey finally made the collar bind onto something else after a lot of flying and he sure was exhausted. He was flying in the air but out of energy, he plumeted to the ground making a small crater.

OOC: Bye then, good luck!

"Get back!!" Jolta called to me, "Stay with Blaze, he'll protect you!!!" She looked ready for battle, and I reluctantly agreed to stay back with the little pokemon.

"Okay... I will, wobba," I said, going quickly over to the Growlithe, and giving the pokemon a nod hello as I stood by it. I wished that could actually be of some use to them, but my powers were nowhere near as awesome as theirs. I felt a bit quilty though, seeing the two pokemoprhs before me risk their lives to help us all survive.

And part of me was also a bit confused as to why Jolta was being so, well, human. I had always thought of her as a heartless killer; and now I felt as if my preconception was something that I should be ashamed of.

'I'll make it up to her,' I found myself thinking, 'I'll do something to show that I'm not afraid to be her friend.'

As soon as I thought this, I noticed the helmet on the Pidgeot morph shatter as he collided with a rock. I jumped a bit, pieces flying everywhere, but then smiled a bit.

"He's free wobba!" I cheered, assuming the intrument of Bob's control had been the helmet.

[OOC: I see . . . then farewell, and stay safe.]

Seeing the helmet shatter, Rine ceased his blizzard. However, he was unwilling to trust easily. Lowering himself into a defensive stance, the Sneasel morph stared intently at the Pidgeot morph before him--his blood crimson eyes studying the armored enemy. His voice low, Rine hissed, "Don't move." Suddenly, he flicked his hand forward--directing a number of icicles toward his opponent. However, each ice weapon was carefully aimed toward an area of armor that would not allow damage to the flesh if it was pierced.

Baring his fangs in a silent snarl, Rine sprang back and away from the Pidgeot morph, prepared to continue combat if necessary.

OOC: Always sad to see another member quit. :( Well, good luck with whatever you'll be up to then.

"Don't move."

Berne couldn't help uttering a silent snarl. Obeying a stranger's command wasn't excactly the top priority for his newfound freedom, but he didn't want to waste his energy in an unnecessary battle so he obeyed, allowing the swarm of icicles to puncture various parts of his armor, Just as well he thought as the pieces of metal began to loosen It's probably rigged beyond redemption.

As the last one of the icicles had finished its job, Berne adressed his recent opponet, once again crouched in defence, expecting him to lash out at any moment "It's not my intention to pick a fight with you" Berne stated, looking the Sneasel morph straight in the eye and keeping his expression carefully blank, even as another burst of electricity rushed past him, nearly burning his mane which had been released from the confines of the helmet "But make no mistake, I will defend myself if need be." Carefully, and still watching the person opposite of him with care, he began to remove some of the loser pieces of his heavy attire, revealing the surprisingly plain, and rather worn, clothing beneath it. Berne listened to the dull clunks of the various metal pieces falling to the ground, kicking them in various directions with a measure of satisfication. He had no wish to retain a memento of his servitude, no matter how useful it could be.

Once again yuki found herself looking at the oh so familiar, grey wall of the punishment roomm, then she heard a squeeking noice it was the cell door open a young tan man with black hair and a whip stepped in. Yuki knew very well why the man was here
''Well well well it seems someone broke the rules again well it's time for your punishment'' suddenly yuki realized it was now or never, she jumped up hit the man with her tail, ran out and slammed door behind her, ''Okay.... what am I supposed to do now?'' she said for herself, she didn't have much time to think before she heard footsteps someone was coming her way, quickly she hid behind some food supplies, right after that a man around the age of 30 with black hair came around the corner, the man yuki had locked up began to shout
''Hello? let me out, is anybody there?'' the older man ran to open the door

''Where is she?'' said the man who had just been locked up

''Where is who?''

''That pesky pokemorph I was suppose to punish her but she hit me and locked me up''

''Haven't seen her''

''If I ever get my hands on that girl she'll regret that she was never born''

''Now we'll have to find the girl''

Rine straightened slightly and viewed the Pidgeot morph in silence. After a long moment, the male allowed thin smirk to play across his features. "And I had been planning to throw you into that Raichu morph's next Thunderbolt. So much for that idea." The smirk abruptly vanished, leaving Rine's expression cold and serious. "If you can give me proof you've been freed from Bob's control, I have no reason to attack you. Can you prove it?"

Berne retained his silence for a while, formulating an answer for the question posed to him "Well..." he finally said "If I *was*under Bob's control would I be discarding valuable equipement?" he gestured towards the various pieces of armor strewn all around him "Or even be talking to you for that matter? Bob isn't really a man of peace and diplomacy, as I'm sure you have discovered yourself." he took a brief pause to see the other's reaction, observing the remnants of an electric burn on his arm without bothering to pretend otherwise. In fact, his stare seemed almost purposefully obvious. "However" he continued "If your trust can be gained through mere words then you are obviously not half as intelligent as I have thought."

Electricity poped in the air as the two Morphs fought. Niether would give an inch. Jolta usually depended on speed and strong attacks, but Ria had good defense, as well as speed. The Jolteon Morph growled in annoyance, as she and Ria came to a stop. They were both panting heavily, ready to drop.

"That's IT!!" Jolta yelled, then charged at the Riachu Morph. Her sword crackled with lightning. She swiped at Ria's neck, breaking the collar. Not a scratch was left on her skin. Jolta was tired now. She skidded to a stop, painfully ramming into a tree. Ria fell too, exausted.

"Jolta!!" Blaze called, racing toward her. She nor Ria was moving....

July 20th, 2005, 2:35 PM
OOC: Bye Geoff...!

I was at a loss for knowing who to watch; Ria and Jolta, or the now free Pidgeot morph and the Sneasel one. I noticed that the Pidgeot morph was trying to prove his freedom from Bob's control.

I decided to take my chances and ran up to the Sneasel morph.

"I believe him! I-I can tell he's free! I can sense his spirit within him wobba," I paused for a moment, "I know that sounds weird, but I am psychic in some ways, and I could feel a difference between when Jolta was being controlled, and when she was freed." I looked over to the Pidgeot morph, and then up to the Sneasel morph's eyes.

"It's okay if you don't believe me; I'm not even sure I would believe me," I said, managing a crinkly smile.

That's when I heard Jolta's final blow with her awesome sword. I turned around in time to see the two of them fall to the ground.

"Ria!" I yelled, leaving the two morphs to decide on their own, and coming up to Ria's side. Blaze seemed to be caring for Jolta, so I wasn't worried about her right then.

"Ria! Ria!!" I said, shaking her to try and wake her up.

"Bob may not be a 'man of peace and diplomacy', but he's smart enough to know a few tricks." Rine's eyes studied Berne for a long moment before narrowing slightly. Then, at Anna's approach, he turned slightly, still retaining an awareness as to the Pidgeot morph's movements. Rine remained silent as the Wobbuffet morph departed to attempt to revive Ria. Then, turning toward Berne, he spoke in a quiet, level tone. "For the moment--and for convenience's sake--I'll refrain from attacking you." He extended his claws. "But, know that if you attack me, I'll have no reason to show mercy." The Sneasel morph withdrew his claws as he made his way toward the fallen electric morphs--moving at an angle to retain Berne's presence in his area of vision.

Berne merely nodded, lingering behind as the others went to check on the collapsed morphs. He found himself a bit confused. Not by the Sneasel morph's actions, Berne had been expecting something along those lines as that would be precisely what he would have done in a similar situation. Said morph was stilling eyeing Berne suspiciously, but the Pidgeot morph decided to ignore it for the time being. What really perplexed him was the intervention of the Wobbuffet morph. Why would she stick up for someone whom she didn't know at all? Just because Berne wasn't under the control of an evil and sadistic bastard anymore, if she really had sensed it, which Berne doubted, it was no guarantee that he himself wasn't one. Finally, Berne approached the two fallen morphs, none of them held any love for Bob, that much was obvious. There was always strength in numbers and Berne was going to need help to take down team Cipher, even if he didn't like to admit it...

July 21st, 2005, 10:03 AM
Raising a hand slightly, Rine lowered the temperature of the air about the two electric morphs. After a time, a mist could be seen rising from their mouths, indicating they were still breathing. Seeming satisfied, the Sneasel morph turned toward Anna. "They're alive and should recover with some rest." A flurry of snow materialized about Rine as he added, "I have business to take care of. Shout if you need me." The snow suddenly increased, surrounding the male in a thick, impenetrable white. Then, as the ice faded and tumbled to the ground, the morph had vanished.

"I will wobba!" I said cheerfully, giving a small wave good-bye. I had a big smile on as I looked down at Ria and Jolta. Blaze still looked a bit concerned even with the reassurance of the Sneasel morph.

"Oh wait--! Oh... wobba...," I said urgently, but then realized the morph had already vanished, "I didn't even know his name. Hm... I shall refer to him as Sneeze then." I giggled a bit. I couldn't wait for Ria to wake up. Things were looking so much better now.

That's when I turned to the Pidgeot morph, "Ah! I forgot you were there wobba! What is your name then, considering we are friends now!" I extended my hand for him to shake. I might as well make another new friend as I waited for my first one to wake up.

He may have looked a little scary, but that wouldn't deter me. I continued to smile with my crinkly mouth.

"Friend?" Berne instinctively took a small step back, the last person to call him 'friend' was Bob, just before he knocked Berne out and made him his glorified guinea pig. Berne studied the Wobbuffet morph's face very carefully, looking for even the slightest hint of pretence. But to his bewilderment he didn't find anything, by Berne's tell, and he had gained a good amount of experience in this field at the camp, it was a completely genuine, well-meaning smile. This person is either extremely trusting or extremely cunning he thought for himself and I think her performrance during the battle rules out the latter. After a few moments of awkward silence a small, almost undiscernable, smile spread across Berne's face as he shook the Wobbuffet morph's hand "Well then...friend. I am, as I believe Bob already introduced me, Berne, and you are?"

July 31st, 2005, 8:13 AM
"Jolta!! Jolta, get up!!" Blaze said, tapping his long-time pal with his paw. Jolta moaned and rolled over. "JOLTA!!"

"What?!" She was on her feet now and alert. "Is Bob attacking?! What's going on?!" Her sword lay on the ground beside her and she hastily picked it up and sheathed it, putting it on her back. Everything seemed quiet...

"No, there's no attack... Idiot..... I just didn't want you to be left out here. Besides, if we don't get goin' there probably will be an attack." He said, flicking his tail back and forth. The sun had fully risen. They stood out from the rest of the world, and it was only a matter of time before some stranger would decide to take a walk in the woods and notice all the damage.

"Fine." Jolta strode away from the rest of the group, Blaze talking non-stop beside her. It was the others choice if they wanted to follow. She didn't care. She didn't know where she was going, though. Jolta just wanted to get as far away from that camp as possible.

Why did I help them...? The question hit her suddenly. Why did she help them? What was that? I'm... I can't trust anyone, not even Blaze completely. Trusting people means you're going to be hurt. Painful memories flashed through her mind, and Jolta began running.

"Jolta!! Where are you going?!" Blazes question was lost in the wind as Jolta disappeared into the darkness of the forest.

Hi, Drunken/gonexforever here, i'm just posting to say that i'm still here. I don't have time to make a good post right now, and i can tell i'm really far behind. Feel free to incorporate my character into your story, as long as it doesn't conflict with anything i write. (Ex. someone that's in this rp can be the girl i mentioned in my first, that would make an interesting plot twist, as well as unlocking some secret part of your character's past, as in how she came to find out about reversing Pokemorphs.) I'm not asking you to write my story for me, but merely reminding you that i'm still in, and that you may use my character, unless his part in your story isn't very... good. But i have confidence in you all, and prolly no one will use him, as i've barely revealed anything about him yet. I'm not really supposed to be on the computer right now, i'm still a minor and therefore have to abide my parent's rules. I'll post ASAP.

:D have a nice day.
And sry for the delay, i still don't know who Bob is. :D

All right! Finally when I come here PC's actually working! *GASP*

"I'm Anna. And this is my friend Ria, though she is a bit too indisposed to answer back, wobba...," I said, looking down at her again.

Jolta had woken up finally, and she looked a bit freaked out. I blinked.

"Are you--?" I began, but she suddenly took off, and seemed a bit upset.

I wondered what in the world could have freaked her out so much when nothing was obviously going on at the moment.

Blaze the Growlithe was right though... we had to get moving unless we wanted Bob to attack again, and we had to do it quick.

"Maybe we should--!" but I paused in frozen indecision.

What about Ria?! I couldn't just leave her; yet we had to leave now.

"Oh... wobba... how am I going to carry Ria with me? I'm not that strong...," I said hopelessly, pacing around for a minute. I couldn't rely on any of my psychic powers either, because who knew how long they'd last? One minute she could be floating peacefully in the air, and the next falling headfirst to the ground!

This was not going to work. I had no choice but to stay and wait for her to wake up.

OOC: I know what you mean. I was honestly ready to chew someone out for it when I got that "come back in an hour" message for the fifth time. >_<. Boy was I relieved when I finally got back in.

Berne shrugged as he watched the Jolteon morph dissapear into the forest "Just let her go, Anna. She needs to figure things out for herself."

Berne felt a strong urge to follow Jolta's example; just get as far away from everyone else as possible, but that would mean leaving Anna alone with the unconscious Ria, and he couldn't do that. Trust or no, he owed the wobbufet morph that much. The beast inside Berne gave an indignant snarl, Fool! Are you falling for that again? She will betray you just as Bob did. Berne turned around a few times, startled by the voice in his head, but without anything following it he gave an indiferrent shrug and dropped the matter. Must be an after-effect of the helmet. he thought for himself.

August 3rd, 2005, 4:01 PM
"**** it!!!" She couldn't leave them behind, but she couldn't afford getting close to them. Trust led to betrayal. Jolta had learned that the hardest way possible. The memory of him was still fresh in her mind. She could never forget him, never forgive him...

"Uh, what's going on?" Asked a voice from behind everyone. Blaze whipped around. There stood another Morph, one who must have escaped from the camps when Bob left.

((Ooc: Ze other Morph, Koji: http://www.pokemorph.com/gallery/koji/rpkoji.jpg))

"Hm?" Anna said tilting her head to one side, "No, I don't think you understand the meaning of friendship, wobba. Friends are not supposed to leave each other, no matter what happens. Otherwise, what's the point?"

I stared up at him for a moment, and then I looked back down at Ria. I guess I just had to try and bring her along. I would have to trust in my own abilities to help my friend if no one else would help me.

"Okay Ria, here goes nothing!" I said, my eyes beginning to glow a soft purple color. I knew it would cost me too much to try and float her along with me, considering I would need to consume a whole lot of power to try and do that for a long period of time. So I settled for the next best thing....

A blob of light purple light materialized next to them. It soon took the shape of what appeared to be a large armchair.

I was too intent upon making whatever it was materialize fully to notice what it even was. Soon enough though, I was done and had been successful! I had managed to transport a rolling armchair from the camp!

"I did it! Now I can put Ria in it and roll her along wobba!" I said happily, jumping a bit. Luckily, I was always best at teleporting things.

Even if we were in the forest with the floor not being very smooth and flat, I could at least force it along slowly. I pulled up Ria's body into the chair, and hoped she didn't want to fall off.

That's when I noticed another morph standing over by where Jolta had run off to.

"What's going on?" he asked Jolta. Or at least that's whom he seemed most interested in.

"We're escaping, wobba!" I said as I pushed the chair softly over towards them. I looked back at Berne.

"Come on, wobba!" I said to him, gesturing him to come over.

August 4th, 2005, 7:22 AM
Berne was quick to reply to Anna's little lecture, "Well, if friends don't leave each other, no matter what then Jolta didn't consider you much of a friend, did she?" he asked coldly.
But the Wobbuffet morph seemed to have too many other things on her mind to reply. She was standing there, eyes glowing and in deep concentration, soon causing a large armchair to materialize, apparently teleported from somewhere else.

"I did it! Now I can put Ria in it and roll her along wobba!" she said happily, jumping a bit before she lifted Ria's unconscious body onto the chair. Even though it had wheels for transportation, pushing the chair along the uneven forest floor would undoubtedly be a tedious process at best. But Anna seemed determined to go along with it nonetheless, and why? For someone whom she probably hadn't known for much longer than a day. Someone who could still be under Bob's influence. Berne watched the procedure in silence, pondering Anna's words; Don't understand the meaning of friendship? he thought, feeling a slight sting of wounded pride. He understood friendship more than well, he understood that it was something rare and precious to be earned, not given away to everyone you crossed paths with. Or so he had thought...Friends are not supposed to leave each other, no matter what. Otherwise, what's the point? Was that why he hadn't already gone his own way? Was that the way he felt about Anna? But they'd only just met, no-one could be befriended that quick. Or-? Berne's musings were suddenly interrupted, however;

"What's going on?" came an unfamiliar male voice a bit further away. Berne cursed his carelessness as he turned towards the direction of the voice. It could be a trap, and Anna was walking right into it.

"We're escaping, wobba!" Anna called enthusiastically, obviously not feeling the same kind of suspicions as Berne did.

"Come on, Wobba!" she called, gesturing for Berne to come over.

"Oh, alright." Berne grumbled, arriving at the scene in a quick swoop. Jolta was there as well, maybe he could catch a glimpse of the so-called 'right' way of friendship while he was at it.

Rine's claws pressed deeply against a Cipher agent's throat, thin lines of crimson dripping from the impressions on the agent's neck. Beside the agent lay a shattered collar--one he had failed to place on Rine.

"Give it up," the Sneasel morph snarled. "Even if I were as slow as a Slakoth, you couldn't put a collar on me because of the one I already have." He slammed the Cipher against the facility's wall. "Now talk!" Rine raised his free hand, extending his claws and allowing them to glint dangerously. "Or you won't live to see the sunset."

The agent coughed hoarsely, blood spurting from his throat. Then, smirking, he spoke. "Nothing you can do to me would be worse than what Bob would do if I talked." The Cipher laughed. "But, I think Bob'd be proud of you if he saw you now. You've turned out just like the morph he'd want you to be."

Rine's eyes widened with shock before narrowing angrily. Without a word, he tightened his grip on the Cipher agent's throat, he claws easily severing the jugular vein. Then, casting the agent to the ground, he turned and started away. But, after a pause, he turned back, his fury still unsatiated. Eyes and gems glowing with a white light, the Sneasel morph released a furious blizzard onto the facility--one with the strength to shatter roofs and tear walls. If I'm what Bob wanted me to be, then he asked for his own nightmare.

"Anna?" Ria asked confuzed. She was being pulling in an arm chair, and had seemed to appear asleep. "Where are we? Did you win? Sorry I was not help."

She hung her head low. I wish that awful man would just leave us. We are what we are. But why make us.. Ria gulped, her mind swallowed in thoughts, your slaves? We can't do anything more! Ria hopped off the chair.

"Hiya Anna!" She called, finally noticing her friend.

August 5th, 2005, 6:40 AM

Whether or not Berne realized it, I did hear what he had said to me, and I knew that he was right. Jolta was no good friend of mine. She still scared me a bit, even when she was clearly on our side. She was angry, unpredictable, and very dangerous. But people only feel that way after being very lonely and hurt for a very long time; and Jolta was probably no exception.

That's when Ria began to stir again.

"Hey! You're awake, wobba!" I said happily, glad she was awake and glad I didn't have to push her along anymore because, well, I didn't know how long that would have lasted.

"This is Berne, and Jolta's over there with a boy who has just appeared, and Blaze is there too, wobba," I said to her, motioning to each of them in turn.

After Ria had gotten out of the chair, I decided we no longer needed it, and so I returned it to wherever it had come from with a flash of purple light and a popping noise.

Berne nodded slightly in acknowledgement "Welcome to the waking world, Ria." he said in an uncharacteristically friendly manner, his expression softening slightly, he knew what it felt like to be possessed so he actually felt a hint of compassion for the morph, "I hope you're feeling up for a walk."

"Now as for you." His expression returned to normal as he turned and eyed the newcomer morph critically, eyes narrowing. "Who are you, and why should we trust anything you have to say?"

"You're welcome Ria." Berne replied to the Raichu morph without taking his eyes of the newcomer who had yet to respond to his question. Why was the boy dawdling with his response? Berne's inner self gave a snarl, if that boy was presuming to fool him then he'd meet a quick and painful end, both his sides agreed on this full-heartedly.

Koji watched Jolta intensely. He knew exactly who she was, though she did not recognize him. "What?" She snapped, glaring at him. With one more dangerous look, she walked away from him, tripping over Blaze who had just scrambled out from the underbrush. "BLAZE!!" She roared, jumping to her feet. The Sandslash Morph was still watching her with the huanted look on his face.

"Sorry, Jolta!!!" Blaze said, then looked at thhe new Morph. "Who're you?"

"Huh?" Was his responce. "Oh, um, I'm Koji, the escaped Morph. I mean no harm, only to come with you. I'm not exactly from these areas, so I have no idea where to go... Nice armchair ya got there...!" He mused, clearly impressed by Anna's creation. Jolta glanced at it with a look of indeference.

OOC: Woah... almost forgot about this! Anyway, posting time!!

"Oh! Then you are a friend and not an enemy, wobba? Well then, hi there! My name's Anna," I said, extending my hand in a friendly handshake. Whether or not the Sandslash morph liked it, I had strode over, grabbed onto him, and shook my hand lightly.

I shot a nervous glance at Jolta, then turned to Berne and Ria, "We should probably get away from here, wobba; I mean, who's to say that Bob won't come back to get us again?"

I didn't realize it at the time, but that could have been the dumbest move I had made. Trusting people so easily was sometimes a good thing, but could also be an extremely dangerous thing. How was I to know that Koji and Berne and Jolta and the Sneasel morph I had met earlier were even trustworthy? I trusted the good in people, trusted the fact that all of us were in the same place; we were persecuted morphs with no one to turn to but each other.

Hopefully, I would be right, and we would all remember that in the coming days.

The Pidgeot morph wasn't quite convinced by Koji's explanation, but realized that he wasn't really in a position to fling accusations. "I am Berne." he said in introduction, giving the Sandslash morph a brief nod, but not offering a hand "And Anna has a point, we should really get moving."

He peered around at his surroundings, night had already begun to fall "We should find ourselves some shelter in our vicinity. Straggling around in the darkness will do us no good."

As the Pidgeot morph moved past Koji he briefly locked eyes with him "I don't trust you..." he whispered, his voice too low for the others to hear "I will tolerate your presence, but if you dare to betray this group you will suffer the consequneces."

Berne walked a bit further away, not bothering to wait for the other's response.

A faint breeze drifted past Rine, gently rippling the surface of the lake the Sneasel morph stood beside. Allowing the wind to caress his face and wounds, the male brushed a few strands of hair away from his face. Though his visible scarlet eye still burned with a cold fire, Rine's expression seemed peaceful and calm.

Kneeling to stare at the lake's mirror-like surface, the Pokemorph silently raised his forefinger to trace a deep gash that ran across his cheek. As another air current disrupted the lake's surface, Rine extended a claw and lightly tapped the water--freezing a portion of it into a mirror of ice. Seeing a number of bloodstains on the bandages bound about his face, the Sneasel morph slowly placed a hand over the covered area of his features. As he began to remove the bandage, he paused. Tightening the bandages, Rine straightened and stood, raising a clawed hand and causing the ice to shatter. Then, withdrawing his claws, the dark morph vanished.

"Eh?" Koji had no intentions of betraying them. Jolta, however... She was unpredictable. Just as she was three years ago, before... He sighed. No point in digging up the past. Jolta would most-likely kill him if she found out who he was.

"So, uhm, where she we go?" Inquired Blaze. He knew hardly anything of the forest. Jolta sat cross-lessged on a rock, facing away from them.

OOC: *eerie music plays* It's ALIIIVEE!!! *shrug* Couldn't help myself. ^^ Where's pokegirl anyway? After all, this is her RP.

I looked around. Everyone was so tense. If only they could get along better... oh well, it would take time, and I wasn't about to push them further.

"Hey I know!" I said happily, clapping my hands together, "There's supposed to be a big city to the east of here, maybe we could go there, wobba!"

Then a strange thought occurred to me. "Oh... no wobba, the other people will probably notice our differences and tell Bob," I said in defeat.

For a moment, it seemed like a good idea, though someday I'd like to live among regular people, but right now that didn't seem like a very big possibility. There must be some human beings out there that wouldn't hate us, that would want to protect us.

September 1st, 2005, 9:03 AM
Berne nodded, "We're too conspicious to blend in with the normal folk, and Bob will undoubtedly have spread lies about us among the local populace, hoping that a frightened mob will do his work for him." a look of disdain entered his eyes although his expression remained emotionless "The problem is that he is right. People are cowards, they will fear us simply for what we are, judge us based on what we can do rather than our real actions."

The Pidgeot morph allowed his speech to fade, bitter thoughts entering his mind. This world never wanted me before he thought for himself and it certainly won't want me now. What am I even doing here? I should be at Cipher grounds, with my hands on Bob's dirty throat. But for what? Taking away my humanity? What has that ever brought me but pain and misery? IF anything he helped me. But he did it for his own gain. his darker side snarled at the human's arrogance He will pay. I'm a strong now, I am free ...free and independent. I am-

Berne stopped that line of thought before he had even begun it. Free? Had he been truly free he would have left on his own way already. He was still snared, by what? A misguided sense of loyalty to a stranger who intervened on his behalf without any grasp of the situation...

Had he remember how to do so, the Pidgeot morph would probably had sighed in exasperation. He would probably stick with whatever Anna decided, simply because he felt he owed her...

September 1st, 2005, 3:20 PM

"Oh...," I said, sighing, "Why must people be so mean all the time... wobba... we're no different than anyone else."

I pointed to the north. "We should go north then I think. I mean, there's a river up that way, and it's really mountainous so we'd be hard to follow. Last time I tried to escape I was planning to go up that way, wobba," I said, smiling. Ah, that had been a good plan, but it had been poorly executed, and luck had not been with me that day.

Something occurred to me, "Oh! And just so you know, I do know that that way is north because Wobbuffet instinctively know what way is north!"

I paused for a moment. Then suddenly I realized that I had said quite a few things and only said 'wobba' twice in them all put together. Very strange.

"It's the way the world works, I'm afraid." Berne replied to Anna's sigh, still applying the usual emotionless voice. The Pidgeot morph arched an eyebrow inquisitively as the Wobbuffet morph told him that she had actually almost managed to escape. Perhaps... Berne thought for himself Perhaps I have underestimated her capabilities. Escaping one of the camps unaided was no small accomplishment.

"Sounds like you have a plan." Berne stated at the end of Anna's sentence, a hint of approval audible in his voice despite his efforts to coneal it. "Which is more than can be said for the rest of our merry little family apparently." the Pidgeot morph added, his eyes travelling among the members of what could quite generously be called a rag-tag band. "I for one am in support of this course of action."

September 2nd, 2005, 2:55 PM
"As am I," Ria said quietly. She had stood aside, watching all the pokemorphs and their reactions to freedom. "We must get out of here, or attack. With Bob's new weapon to control us, we could be gone forever. Peace shall never be known to us. Anna, if you don't have a plan, we ought to travel to my old home and see if there was a cure. I hope there is, if not... then we shall become worthless. Ria."

"I vote north," Jolta said simply. Displaying no anger for the first time since she had met the others. Her temper had cooled down a bit, so she decided to at least not growl at them. Blaze seemed to relax, seeing his partner wasn't about to blow everyone up anymore.

"We're used to living outdoors. After all, since Jolta's guardians were killed, we-" Jolta calmly flicked a ball of electricity at the Growlithe, cutting him off. She didn't want them to know about her past. Blaze was more trusting of people than Jolta was.

I don't see why she can't trust them... If she tells them about her past, maybe they'll befriend her, or at least except her... He hated seeing Jolta always so tense, ready to attack anything that moved. Jolta jumped off her rock and walked the direcion Anna pointed to.

"She wasn't always like this..." Blaze muttered loud enough for everyone but the Jolteon Morph to hear.

Alter Ego
September 5th, 2005, 5:31 AM
Guardians killed? Berne pondered this new information even though he didn't give any outward indication of it A pity...I would have loved to see my guardians killed. he surpressed this thought.

"Neither was I..." Berne replied quietly so that it would take a very good sense hearing, like that of a Growlithe, to hear him, before raising his voice to a normal level. "It is unanimous then." the Pidgeot morph stated to the group "Let's be off."

With that, he set of to the north under the guidance of his avian sense of direction, leaving the fire pokmon to ponder the meaning of his words at its leisure.

September 6th, 2005, 8:01 AM

"Oh good, I am getting thristy myself," I replied, thinking of the cool water that going to the river would mean. However, I did hear Blaze's comment, and I did feel sorry for Jolta. I had always felt sorry for someone so obviously lonely and closed to the outside. Many people in the camp that we had just escaped from had been the same way.

I noticed Ria had been shot down about her idea of going to her home. I gave her a smile, "Don't worry Ria, I'm sure we'll be able to go to your home sometime in the near future. I think perhaps it would be best if we got to know each other more and waited for the immediate searching of the area from Bob to stop, wobba."

I paused, and shuddered thinking of how Bob was probably trying to think of horrible things to do to us. He was not the kind of person to kill you quickly....

"Oh... I hope the others are okay...," I said aloud, thinking of the Sneasel morph and others. Even though I didn't know them, I still cared about them. This seemed to be something that few morphs were capable of; Jolta and Berne were a bit like that.

Since no one seemed to talking much, aside from me, I decided to adress them one at a time, after all, it was exciting to have so many new friends!

"So Berne, wobba, what do you want to do? I mean, what will your plans be when we're away from Bob; which is assuming we do get away from Bob, but I like to think positive!" I asked the Pidgeot morph, smiling.

Alter Ego
September 7th, 2005, 5:29 AM
"Plans?" Berne echoed, watching the Wobbuffet morph in surprise.

"What 'after' is there for me?" he asked, his expression temporarily shifting into one of bitterness before he got it back under control, "I've never had anything to begin with. I'm not even sure if I want to change back. For all my life, people have treated me like dirt, even when I was still a small child, my foster parents would pick on me and beat me for the slightest of misbehaviours, sometimes even without cause. But now..." the yellow part of his eyes glowed dangerously "Now I have the power to pay back in kind, only to find that I don't particularly care about them anymore. My only desire is to see Bob and his henchmen rid from the face of this earth in as painful a way as possible. After that..." the Pidgeot morph shrugged "I couldn't care less. I can never lead a normal life now, that much I have realized. There is too much blood on my hands..." his voice faded and he turned his gaze elsewhere, not wanting to look Anna in the eyes anymore as she would surely spot the tears that were building up in his eyes. Why do I feel this way? he thought for himself, furiously forcing the droplets away Why should I feel any shame over what I have done? It's always been me against the world and until now the world has had the upper-hand! And why am I even telling Anna any of this? I know nothing about her and she will surely judge me like everyone else.

September 7th, 2005, 9:30 AM

I blinked. 'Perhaps next time I should be more sensitive to the questions I ask people,' I thought to myself. I had no idea that someone's life could be filled with such sadness. Was that how all of them were? Jolta and her parents, Ria and hers... I suddenly found myself thinking of my past... which was something I could barely remember....

"That's sad," I said to Berne, "I feel sorry for you. To have such an awful life... no wonder you don't know what you're going to do; there is nothing you've ever valued in life beyond seeking vengance for those that hurt you." For once I was actually thinking about what I was saying, trying to be as serious as possible, because anything less would have been rude.

I paused, "I wish I could say I know how you feel, wobba, but I have never felt like that. I don't know why, perhaps I'm just naive and over-optimistic. I don't remember much about before I was taken in by Bob. I do remember though that my parents were nice people, and that they loved me very much." I smiled again, "When Bob is done with and we are really free, I think I should like to live in a quiet place with people I care about and do nothing but lay around and relax and have fun doing things that I never was allowed to do in the camp."

I looked sadly at Berne, for I really did feel sorry for him. 'I hope that someday you find something to live for and someone that loves you; that cares more about you than themselves,' I thought silently; I knew better than to say it aloud, that would have been a bit embarrassing and might have gone too far. But I sincerely wished that what I said would come true, because after all, he was my friend.

"Hey! Look at that tree up ahead! Isn't it beautiful?!" I said, racing forward a bit. I liked looking at trees, they were so pretty and something I didn't get to see very much when I was with Bob and company. It was a Cottonwood tree, and it had been shedding its great, cotton-ball like seeds. Unfortunately for me, I didn't see the shadowed figure sitting in the tree above where I was now standing.

I touched a cotton piece that was floating down toward me and felt it. "Oooh, it's so soft, wobba!" I said, and then I heard a thud.

Something had jumped down from somewhere above me and had landed about two feet in front of me. I blinked. It was a boy about my age, he was a morph like us; and by the looks of his pale green skin and yellow anntennas, a strong Meganium morph. But something was wrong, something wasn't right... he was wearing a collar, a collar like Ria and Jolta had worn....

I gasped. I didn't think this boy was going to be very friendly.

OOC: Oooh...! Some action! I just made up some random morph, you guys can control him if you wanna and you could even kill him if you like. :dead: Think of him as a disposable henchman.

Berne listened to the Wobbuffet morph in surprised but grateful silence. He wasn't quite sure what he had expected from her; terror surely, maybe a bit of revulsion, but compassion? He could tell that Anna was obviously trying her best not to offend him. There's another first I guess... the Pidgeot morph thought for himself, his resolve strengthening further. Anna would definitely be under his protection. He would sooner die than let the kind morph come to harm. Not a particularly meaningful goal perhaps, but a goal all the same. Maybe I can be of some use... Berne mused for himself, an almost indiscernable smile creeping across his face as he listened to the Wobbuffet morph's explanation of her own dreams and consequent trip towards a nearby tree.

Berne stiffened in alarm as he noticed the Meganium morph approach, his eyes narrowing at the sight of the collar around his neck.

"Anna!" the Pidgeot morph called, spreading his wings and promptly ignoring the protest of his wound "Get back!"

Berne lifted up into the air, quickly diving between the two morphs and assuming a defensive stance. I have the advantage... he told himself as he eyed the grass pokmon morph appraisingly I could take him down if I wanted to... as he began to size up his opponent's weak spots, a slightly less usual thought seeped into Berne's head But maybe... he thought for himself Maybe I should attempt to free him from captivity instead.

September 7th, 2005, 4:30 PM
A bolt of lightning shot from nowhere, nearly hit everyone. "Alright!! Some action!!" Jolta yelled, anger and excitement alight in her eyes. She skidded to a stop beside Berne, kicking charred dust into the air.

The Meganium Morph smiled pleasantly, then said calmly, "You are fugitives, wanted by Bob. Now, come on, we don't have all day."

Suddenly, his charming disposition disappeared, as he reached foward, grabbed Jolta by the neck and lifted her in the air. She simply laughed, a creepy, oh-god-she's-lost-it-now laugh, almost in tears. Her tail twitched uncontrollably. Suddenly, Jolta stopped, and glared at the Morph with all the hate she could impress upon him.

She kicked him, and dropped to the ground. Extending one leg, she swung it around and knocked the Controlled Morph to the ground. The fight escalated from there. The Meganium stood up, nearly being crushed by an electric attack by Jolta. She was faster than him, but he was stronger.

September 7th, 2005, 5:53 PM
Suddenly, a dark form flashed through the area, lifting Anna and depositing her a safe distance away from the battle. Glancing back toward the others, Rine spoke quietly. "I came back to play, but it looks like your friends are taking all the fun away. I'll leave this game to them." Without another word, the Sneasel morph vanished.

Reappearing on a tree limb, Rine silently viewed the morphs below. If nothing else, this should be interesting . . .

Alter Ego
September 8th, 2005, 5:18 AM
Berne shook his head, watching Jolta's eagerness to fight with a small hint of contempt in his expression "Feeling a little bloodthirsty, aren't we?" he asked in an emotionless tone. Killing, in his opinion, should be a necessity, not a source of enjoyment. "Do try to get that collar of, will you?" he asked, taking his distance.

Not feeling any particular inclination to join in the battle, the Pidgeot morph took a bit of distance from the two, noticing that Anna had done so as well. Teleportation perhaps? But no...somehow Berne had the feeling that a certain morph from before had had a hand in it, and sure enough...a bit of spying revealed Rine perched on a tree limb above.

So, he wants to see us fight, does he? Berne thought with a measure of amusement Well, he'll just have to find his entertainment elsewhere...

The Pidgeot morph turned his attention back to the battle between Jolta and the Meganium morph, ready to interwene if necessary.

September 8th, 2005, 11:19 AM

"WAH!" I screamed, unsure of where to run off from the path of the boy that stood before me. I was not about to let Berne's warning go unheeded, but I couldn't move without getting into a fight; as if I could fight... I was pretty useless to the group right now.

Suddenly Berne was between me and the other morph, and before I knew it, I had been transported by someone to a safe distance. I blinked as I looked forward and saw the same Sneasel morph I had met before.

"Oh--!" I squeaked, but he seemed eager to watch and vanished again. I could sense him on a tree branch nearby. Oddly enough, I could not sense the morph in the trees before, but I could sense the sneasel morph now. It must've had something to do with concentration.

I watched the battle but not with the same excited anticipation that the sneasel morph or Jolta had; I was scared that one of them would get seriously hurt. If only there were something I could do to help them... but Bob and his henchmen had always reminded me of what a failure I was in the area of psychic power.

"Be careful, wobba," I said softly, wishing my wish were more than just that.

Alter Ego
September 8th, 2005, 11:29 AM
Berne watched with mounting displeasure as the battle dragged on. Despite their tussle neither one of the morphs seemed to be showing signs of fatigue. Should I interwene? he mused for himself, No doubt Jolta would be peeved if I deprived her of her fun. he watched as the Jolteon morph landed a particularly nasty hit on her opponent But... he conceded, surprising himself with his own thoughts once more I can't stand watching this.

The Pidgeot morph leapt backwards, using a flexible little tree behind himself as a springboard as he leapt forward at blinding speed, catching the Meganium morph from the middle of the tussle and slamming him forward into a conveniently placed rock.

Berne hesitated for a moment as he noticed the severe bruising that his attack had caused, only to find that vines had suddenly sprung forth from the meganium morph's neck and wrapped themselves tightly around his wrists, the morph's mouth grinning manically as he healed himself through some unknown means before dealing out a headbutt onto the Pidgeot morph, smacking him back a bit.

"This ends now." Berne snarled, struggling against the pain as he rose as high with his wings as the vines would let him and leapt over his opponent in a graceful ark, digging his taloned feet deep into his opponent's back, switching the places of his hands so that the vines went across the Meganium morph's collared throat and then dragging the wrists towards each other, the vines tightening around his opponent's neck like a garrotte (OOC: Hope I spelled that one right).

The Meganium morph struggled but couldn't shake his opponent from his back, strength slowly draining from his greenish body.

"If we want him alive." Berne called out to the others adjusting his grip so that the collared throat was held bare to the others "Now is the time to act!"

September 8th, 2005, 3:11 PM
OOC: Rai has died. Or you guys can control her. I'm barely visiting the site nowadays, due mainly to school. Sorry about that, but I can't contain it all. :(

September 8th, 2005, 5:10 PM
((Ooc)) Well, I'm sorry you won't be able to keep up, PokeGirl. I'm sure we could take turns controlling Ria.

Jolta stood panting, rooted to the spot as she watched the Meganium Morph struggle for a single breath. With that collar on, he was never going to give up. She smiled, amused by his fierce determination, and finally moved, walking towards him.

"Heh. Let's let the guy live. He put up a good fight," She said, drawing closer. Jumping, she landed on a tree branch near Berne and his captive. With a flick of electricity, the collar fell off, landing on the ground in shattered peices. The Meganium Morph coughed, and fell to the ground holding his throat.

"What... what happened?" He asked in a confused, but still kind voice. He looked around with wide brown eyes, until his gaze locked with Jolta's. "Was it you?"

She arched an eyebrow. "Was it what?"

"The one who freed me?"

"Yeah, what of it?"

"Thank you."

Jolta was stunned. No one had ever thanked her for something. Her green eyes softened for a moment, and layers of emotional shields melted away. She didn't know how to react to something like this, this....kindness... It was like trying to speak in a foreign lanuage. Instead of answering him, she turned away, heading towards the north. The shields were back.

Blaze whispered to the recently freed Morph, "She thanks you," then trotted after her, talking about the battle nonstop.

September 8th, 2005, 7:57 PM
That seemed sufficiently short. Rine leaned casually against the tree, balancing skillfully on the limb as he observed the others. Casting his scarlet gaze briefly toward Jolta, the Sneasel morph's eyes narrowed. And, apparently she is not quite as hardened as she would have us believe. Interesting. An odd smile--almost a smirk, flitted across Rine's features before his eyes returned to the others.

Having battled Berne, he decided that the Pidgeot morph was skilled enough to have noticed his presence. Thus, Rine gave a casual, vaguely taunting salute to Berne before vanishing.

"As you wish." Berne replied to Jolta's decision, relaxing his stranglehold as soon as the Meganium morph was free from his collar and approached Jolta with almost pitiful gratitude over his freedom. What was surprising to the Pidgeot morph was the Jolteon morph's reaction to this, although she said nothing it was obvious to Berne that those simple words of gratitude held incredible meaning for her, much like Anna's reply had held to him. Perhaps... Berne thought for himself, watching the one who had come of as little more than a vicious killer with newfound curiosity Perhaps we are not so different after all Jolta...

"Did I say something wrong?" the Meganium morph inquired, turning to Berne and snapping him back to the present, apparently confounded by the lack of a reply.

"To the contrary I believe." the Pidgeot morph replied quietly "She was merely surprised by your words, but I would be much obliged if you let go of my wrists now."

"Oh, sorry." the Meganium morph replied, withdrawing his vines with a sheepish expression "And I'm sorry that I hurt you." he added hastily as he noticed that he had struck a good blow into the Pidgeot morph's forehead "I didn't mean to, honest. It was the collar that-"

"I know, I know." Berne replied, waving a hand dissmissively to indicate that the conversation was over. He cast a quick glance towards the spot where he had seen Sneasel morph, just in time to see him leave with a casual mock-salute, apparently aimed at Berne, before dissapearing from view.

The Pidgeot morph's eyes narrowed in suspicion. What was he playing at? He shook his head, turning his gaze elsewhere to avoid awkward questions. Berne flew over to Anna, who had been lying low for the duration of the battle.

"Are you alright?" the Pidgeot morph asked, keeping his expression and voice carefully neutral and attempting to sound bussiness like so as not to seem sentimental.

OOC: Okay then bye Pokegirl! I'll make sure to include Ria. ^__^ Good luck with school, it can be so stessful!

Strange that Jolta should be so surprised that the morph was grateful; after all, she did save him from Bob. It was something I could barely understand, being so open about feelings and gratitude. Berne had flown over to me and asked if I was okay.

"Oh, I'm alright," I said, nodding at the same time. I looked around for the sneasel morph but noticed he was gone. Then I looked at Berne again.

"Thank you for jumping in front of me Berne!" I said with a smile, "I don't think I would have been able to do much to protect myself right then, wobba, I was too surprised."

I noticed that Ria still looked quite shocked about what had gone on. She seemed a bit quiet and in a world of her own. 'I should try to cheer her up once we get going again,' I thought to myself.

I turned back to Berne again, "Really, I will try to make it up to you somehow. I don't know how exactly, but I will think of something."

OOC: Meh, short post, I've gotta finish English homework... -_- I hate English....

OOC: I know what you mean. Although I just hate homework...-_-

Berne smiled slightly at Anna's statement. Make it up to me? he thought for himself, Doesn't she realize how much she has already done? I might have prevented a bad accident but it's still meager compensation.

"There is no need to speak of repayment." the Pidgeot morph replied after a pause, deciding to bring forth some of his thoughts on the matter "You've already done more for me than anyone else ever has. Besides, friends carry no debts..." there was a new, warmer tone to the word 'friend' which hadn't been present when Berne had used it earlier, one that suggested that he really meant what he was saying. "At least that's the phrase as I have heard it." the Pidgeot morph concluded, suddenly feeling a sharp throbbing in his forehead and instinctively covering it with his right hand. "Excuse me..." he said "I think I need to go find someting to chill my forehead, I'll be back in a moment."

The Pidgeot morph took flight, heading in the direction of a small lake he had spotted earlier and crouching down beside it. What's happening to me? he wondered for himself as the pain seemed to move from his forehead to the bone between his eyes.

Berne reached into the pond, shut his eys and splashed several handfulls of the cold liquid within on the spot where it hurt, the pain subsiding fairly quickly. As his eyelids opened once more, the Pidgeot morph came face-to-face with his reflection and made a disturbing discovery; the faint rings of light blue around the edges of his eyes seemed to have expanded, now covering about one third of the complete area of the eyes, making them look even stranger than before.

Berne staggered backwards, This... he told himself This is just an illusion, my mind playing tricks on me...or is it? he took a second look into the pond, only to find the same pair of eyes stubbornly looking back at him. I...guess I'll just have to get used to this then. Berne concluded, resuming a proper standing position, concerns over this new development still occupying his mind as he rose back into the air and returned to the others.

"So, um, where are all of you guys going?" The Meganium Morph inquired, turning his sienna gaze toward Anna, "I heard that Jolteon girl mention something about the north, so would you mind if I come too? And, by the by, I'm Ianto, at your service."

Blaze bounded up to him, already attached to this newcomer. "I'm Blaze!! And the moody, vicious, psychopath killer chick over there is Jolta!! Anna, ze Wobbafett Morph is the one your speaking to, and the dude who just flew off is Berne!!" He exclaimed, hopping around Ianto. "And, the quiet person over there is Koji, but he doesn't talk much."

Koji stood in the shade of a a tree, glaring at Ianto. His claws twitched as though he was ready to scratch something.

"Oh.... kay..." Ianto muttered, noticing the Sandshash Morph's anger. No one else seemed to.

"Are we gonna go yet?" Came Jolta's mocking and yet melodious voice. She was sitting in a tree high above the other Pokemorph's, listening to their conversation. "Berne will find us, but theres no doubt Bob has men headin' this way as we speak." Her black tail waved around lazily.

"I'm right here actually..." Berne said at Jolta's last remark, stepping into view from within the canopy and purposefully avoiding eye-contact with the other morphs so as to avoid questions about the change in his eyes. He knew that it was probably wasted effort, but still...

"So, are we moving out then?" he asked, addressing the entire group. "I for one would like to reach more easily defended ground before we have to stop and rest."

He cast an interrogative glance at the group, noting specifically that there seemed to be tension between the Sandslash morph and the newcomer, whom Berne surmised to be another recruit for their cause. The Pidgeot morph didn't bother analysing or highlighting the fact however as his mind was still too preoccupied with his own change.

September 12th, 2005, 11:09 AM
"Right-o, let's go!!" Yelled Blaze enthusiastically. He twirled on three paws, somehow managed to trip on his tail, and flipped, knocking Ianto down, who tried to grab a branch that slipped out of his hand. The branch made the tree shake, and Jolta, who wasn't balenced all that well, fell and landed on Koji, who tumbled into the tangled Ianto and Blaze.

"BLAZE, YOU FREAKIN' IDIOT!!" She roared, "CAN'T YOU EVEN WALK ON YOUR OWN FOUR FEET?!?" She sat up at the same time as Ianto, coming too close for her to feel comftorable.

Koji sat a little ways off, leering at them.

"What?" Asked Jolta angerly. She scotted away from him, standing, and walking away. Ianto picked up Blaze, muttering something inaudiable. Blaze (once he could stand on his own), jumped around the group, barking and obviously having fun causing chaos for everyone else.

He decided to stick around Berne for awhile. "Hey ho, to the North we go!!!" He sung, clumsily dashing to and fro.

My, my... Berne thought for himself, a slight smirk forming on his face as he followed the exchange between the three other morphs Is Koji getting a bit jealous by any chance?

On a normal day, the Pidgeot morph would have been concerned over the treath to group stability that this turn of events could pose, but right now he was, possibly for the first time in his life, actually feeling mischievous and saw no reason to try to quel whatever was going on.

As Blaze entered his vicinity and struck up what could possibly be referred to as a song, Berne gave the Growlithe a tired look. "Blaze, you really are insufferable, you know that?" he asked, although he couldn't quite seem to make his voice sound as critical as he would have intended and it ended up sounding almost like a compliment. The Pidgeot morph shrugged, What's happening to me? he thought for himself, now even more disturbed by his own feelings What the heck is happening to me?

September 12th, 2005, 12:43 PM
OOC: Wow, my made-up Meganium guy actually has a purpose now... XD Well, it's better than him just dying off. ^^

I trotted along the side of the group, asking Ria questions about the plants around them and finding that Ria knew quite a bit when it came to the surrounding area.

"Hm... I don't know that one Anna," Ria said, smiling a bit, "Maybe someone else does, ria."

I blinked, "That's okay, you know more than I do."

Jolta, Ianto, and Blaze had all taken a tumble. I laughed at them a little, they looked quite silly in contrast to the scary way they had looked a little while ago.

Ria then looked at me seriously, "Hey Anna... can I ask you something?"

I nodded politely, "Sure Ria, I've asked you plenty."

Ria took in a deep breath, and looked as if she didn't want to bring this up buit couldn't help it. "Anna, I was just wondering what Bob made you do? I've always been a bit curious about what he does with psychic morphs. We haven't run into a psychic morph yet, but if we do, it would be nice to know what we'll be up against."

Thinking for a moment to myself, I nodded, "Okay, wobba... but some of it's kinda serious and sad AND scary." I paused.

"I never have gotten to do much of the high level stuff, but I saw what happened to some of the... the others. One, who used to almost be a friend of mine, sometimes we would say a few things to each other, and he even let me share a bit of his lunch one time; even though it was against the rules." I smiled a bit to myself.

"He was a Kadabra morph, and one that was really good too. He could lift things like big boulders and throw them at people. He was so good, that Bob tranferred him to the next level. Then he started doing other things... things like to other morphs...," I shuddered, remembering the screaming coming from the lesson room next to mine.

"He was made to hurt people... with his mind. Bob gave him other morphs, ones he didn't need or want anymore, and told him to do things to them. They wouldn't even have time to fight back, they would just get hurt and slowly die. After a while of him being in that level, the Kadabra morph never talked to me, he would glare at me and look very angry all the time. I- I wasn't very good, so I didn't advance past where I was then. I think Bob... Bob was about to get rid of me too... and that's why the Kadabra guy kept glaring at me and wouldn't talk to me anymore."

As I said those words, it was the first time it really sank in... my almost friend Kadabra morph-- going to torture me? And I had left out something very crucial to which I did not want to tell anyone else.

I was good at what I did. I was good at using psychic powers; but I chose not to learn anything, because if I did, I knew I would have to do what the others had to do. I would have let Bob kill me before I would have been made to do that. This was a secret I kept to myself at all times. Even though I was out of Bob's control for now, I still had the learned stigma of fear and worry over what Bob might find out. I wondered what had become of my old peer, Kadabra morph, but I couldn't think of him long without beginning to feel afraid.

"Oh, that's about it," I concluded, trying to act my cheerful self again, "It's a lot of sad stuff, but now that we're away from Bob, all that will be different, right?"

Ria nodded. She hoped that's the way it would be.

I looked over at Berne. Something seemed a bit different about him; though at the moment I couldn't pinpoint it, and so I shrugged it off.

September 12th, 2005, 6:25 PM
Jolta's ears twitched as she listened to Anna's description about her life as a Moprh. It was obvious she was scared of herself. She was scared of becoming too powerful, too dangerous. Jolta knew exactly what she was talking about, but, she had crossed the line. The Jolteon Morph hated herself and everything she had become.

But then... There was Anna, who always had a smile, and Berne, who kept her from getting too out of hand. Clumsy Blaze, who made her laugh inside. Then there was Koji, who she always felt calm around, and Ianto, who made her feel.... happy. For the first time since Katsuo betray her, Jolta was happy.

Anna and Ria's voices snapped her out of her thoughts. She turned around, facing the Wobbafett Morph. "I really am sorry...." Jolta expressed, "And I've met your friend before. We worked on the same level, level 9. I almost killed him..."

Level 9. just three levels away from 12, the highest point one could reach. It made Jolta sudder to think of what would have happened if she had made it up there.

"I was used for assassinations and charging up the entire camp when electricity was down. I also had weapons and gadets tested on me. It wasn't exactly the most fun thing to do." She said no more of what had happened. Why am I telling them this? Jolta wondered, confused. She turned away from all of them, letting her words sink in.

Berne turned away from his own concerns to listen to Anna's story, paying closer heed to the Wobbuffet morph's expressions than her words. He had a definite feeling that there was something that his friend wasn't telling, but he didn't wish to pry, knowing full well that there were some things better left unexplained. He couldn't, however, avoid noticing that Anna spoke of her own progress with fear in her voice. The Pidgeot morph's attention was soon shifted elsewhere however, as the normally reclusive Jolta confided a part of her own activities in the camp to the group.

"Assassinations?" Berne echoed "I am sorry. They rarely put me to those even though I was a level 11." he shrugged, giving an expression that bore a certain amount of self-hatred as he elaborated "I was too volatile you see...I barely had a speck of humanity in me at the time and was truly more like a savage animal." he sighed "Suffice to say that they didn't consider it appropriate for an assassin to kill his targets quite as...explicitly as I did." a disgusted look entered his eyes at the memory of some of his victims. "At any rate." the Pidgeot morph continued "I was transferred to the biological weapons department, mind-control division. My job was mostly to act as a guinea pig for their mind-control devices, although sometimes they'd have me hunt runaways. Or torture people for information..." Berne suddenly shut himself up, realizing just how much he had told. Why did I tell them any of this? he thought for himself, looking nervously at his companions They will surely abandon me and how could I blame them? Who would trust a murderer...a torturer?

September 13th, 2005, 6:46 PM

Claws extended from one hand, Rine repeatedly sliced the air--blocking attacks cast by an Alakazam morph. Refusing to step back, the Sneasel morph's eyes narrowed as he focused on the collar about his opponent's neck.

"I know you're watching, Bob," Rine stated flatly. "You should know better than to send a psychic type to beat a dark type." The fighter began to prepare an icy orb of energy in his lowered hand. "So, maybe you have some trick up your sleeve . . . "

Rine suddenly crouched, allowing a blast of psy energy to strike his shoulder. Seemingly unaffected, he struck the ground, raising a cloud of dust to veil him. The Alakazam morph leaned forward slightly, glowing with energy as he studied the cloud. Suddenly, the Sneasel morph materialized behind the psychic morph, releasing his wintery blast. The Alakazam morph was instantly encased in ice.

A cold light shimmered in Rine's crimson eyes as he shoved his claws through the ice into the Alakazam morph's collar. As a spark of energy was released from the collar, the Sneasel morph stepped back and snapped his fingers. The ice surrounding the psychic morph shattered. However, the Sneasel morph did not withdraw his claws. Rather, he studied his opponent in silence.

Slowly regaining movement after being freed from the ice, the Alakazam morph grasped his broken collar and tore it from his neck. Casting the object to the ground, the Pokemorph turned to Rine. "You were the one that saved me . . . thank you," he said quietly, extending his hand as though in gratitude. However, within an instant the hand's palm had turned toward Rine and released an energy blast.

Reacting with more reflex than thought, the Sneasel morph's clawed hand slashed through the air, creating a mirror-like shield of ice. Reflecting against the barrier, the attack returned to the Alakazam morph--striking him in his chest. Undeterred, the Alakazam morph's eyes narrowed as he prepared another attack.

"So, that's how it is," Rine said quietly, studying his opponent's eyes. "If this is what you want . . . " Driving his claws into the ground, a pale light surrounded the dark morph as a pillar of ice raised itself from the ground and encased the Alakazam morph.

That won't hold for long. I'll need to get my information and get out. Casting a wary glance back at his former opponent, Rine turned toward his goal--one of Team Cipher's record offices.

"I hate mind control devices..." Jolta mummbled, glaring at the ground. One would have thought a hole might have appeared. Koji moved closer to her, but suddenly backed away as Ianto got the first.

"I really don't know what they put you through, but whatever it was, I'm sorry..." He said sincerly, causing Jolta to blush. He didn't seem to notice. "Anyways," the Meganium Morph continued, "I was a level 8 and mostly used as a Capturer. I had to sneak into peoples homes, kidnap children, steal Pokemon.... It was horrible."

"They were always trying to sell me," Blaze said. "I was an experiment. They were trying to make me evolve faster and be stronger or something, but then I could talk. Bob realised he could make a fortune off of me, so they put me up for sale. Strangely, though, nobody ever bought me."

"Jee, Blaze, I wonder why," Jolta commented sarcastically. "So, Koji, what'd you do?"

"I....I worked in the mines," Koji said, staring at the ground, "We were forced to dig up rare stones and other objects." He became silent once more. Jolta shrugged.

"Seems as though we all have our own tale to tell..." She said.

September 17th, 2005, 2:56 PM
Rine's eyes narrowed. It's not here. All my sources indicated it would be, but . . . The Sneasel morph glanced behind him toward the office's window at the frozen morph outside. That's why the Alakazam morph was here. He probably teleported the files away. Tightening his grip on the file folder in his hand, Rine's fangs glinted in the dim light as he growled, "You can't hide that information from me forever, Bob." Replacing the folder in an open drawer, Rine slid the steel containment unit until it had closed.

Then, suppressing his anger, the Sneasel morph slid open the office's window and vanished.

OOC: Whoa! I almost forgot about this RP! >_< Been too busy with life and the Adoption thread...!

I watched Berne as he talked about his job. Something popped up in my head, a memory of Bob warning me that if I tried to escape and succeeded, then he would have to send his 'flying messenger' to deal with me. I nodded with realization, he must've been talking about Berne. Luckily, I had never met Berne back then; I might not have been so comfortable around him then.

Jolta and Ianto and then Koji each took their turns in telling their own stories. I nodded to them too. And I felt a bit better, like each of us was breaking the tension in the group by expressing our own feelings that had hardly, if ever, been shared before.

I nudged Ria, "What about you Ria?"

"Me?" Ria said, looking around, "Well, I don't know... I was always doing Bob's dirty work. I don't remember much of it though, because anything classified was erased from my memory. I hate him the most for what he did to my parents though. I- I don't really want to talk about the rest."

"That's okay," I said to her, knowing that it would be mean to push it anymore.

Suddenly, I felt this weird tingling in my body. I straightened up and my eyes actually opened a bit.

"Ah!" I said, feeling a bit embarrassed, "Sorry, I don't know what that was.... I just felt kinda funny; like I could sense something happening to the Alakazam morph I talked about earlier. He's very angry, and when psychic morphs are experiencing a lot of emotions, other psychic morphs can feel it."

I shook my head. Hopefully he wasn't hurting anyone too badly. He loved his job, and he did it quite well.

The sound of rushing water reached my ears. We had reached the river I had spoken of. After this calming sight though, the terrain would get much rougher....

((Ooc)) .....Zombie RP returns..... So, whadoyou guys say? Hello? Light? Kogenta? Alter Ego?

Alter Ego
September 25th, 2005, 12:04 AM
OOC: Raoul, you've copied that personality from Jolta. <_< *Points at dark_espeon's sign-up sheet* I'll be buggered before I let a plagiarizer into the RP.

Exhibit A (From Dark espeon's sign-up sheet):

Personality: Jolta is a cold-hearted person who cares for none other than herself. She was betrayed by one she loved, and has formed a barrier around herself. No one has been able to make friends with Jolta. She won't let them. Jolta will not hesitate to kill. Many of the other morphs are afraid of her rough, violent nature. They won't come near her. Of course, if one did befriend her, they might find she is just a person who is mad at the world, betrayed by all.

Exhibit B (From Shadow wolf's sign-up sheet):

Personality: Raoul is a cold person who cares for none other than herself. he was beaten by his parents and has formed a barrier around himself. No one has been able to make friends with Raoul. He won't let them. Raoul wont hesitate to kill. Many of the other morphs are afraid of his cold nature. They won't come near him. Of course, if one did befriend him, they might find he is just a person who is angry at the world, scared of everyone.

They're nearly equal! Heck, you even left a 'herself' in there for cryin' out loud! That's got to be the worst plagiarization I've ever seen. Do you honestly think that I'm so stupid or ignorant that I wouldn't notice? <_< I have a good mind to report you for this Shadow_wolf. To put it bluntly, if he's in I'm out. End of discussion.

Oh, and I'll add an IC soon. I'm just too riled up at the moment.

"It looks like you're still alive."

Rine perched casually in a tree that stood across the river from the others. Though his demeanor seemed calm, an odd expression was in his scarlet, cat-like eye. Forming a shard of ice in one hand, Rine allowed the crimson light of his visible eye to reflect in the prism's many-faceted surface before turning toward the other morphs.

Lightly tossing and catching the shard, Rine continued in a direct, unapologetic tone, "I'm sure all of you have done your fair share of dirty work for Bob--who hasn't? Those of you who were on the assassination squads . . . I have a question for you." His voice noncholant and detached, the Sneasel morph explained, "Some time ago--about four years, I believe--a family in an eastern town known as Kayu was exterminated. Would any of you have any information regarding that incident?"

During this time, Rine's expression reveal no emotion aside from apathy. And, his interest regarding the incident he spoke of seemed minimal. However, a cold fire burned in his eye as he stared toward those standing on the bank opposite him.
