The Elemental Stones V2.0

Okay, well, this is my first RP, i hope you all enjoy it, I kind of daydreamed during class and this idea popped in my head, it took a couple of days to put together, so I hope ya'll like it!

Ever since the beginning of time, 17 distinct villages were thriving off one another. If you had used a pencil on a map to connect the villages, you would notice they make almost a perfect circle, and in the center, there was a huge mountain, with a large moat around it. Now, over 15 million years later, all 17 villages are scattered along the edge of the world, slowly drifting farther and farther apart. Now, these villages are VERY close to the edges of the world and on these edges are waterfalls, non-stop all the way around the world. No one was quite sure what might happen when the world would fall into the dark abyss. One result that was most likely to occur in everyone's minds was; everyone and thing would perish. The little moat that had existed between the center Mountain and the villages had grown into a huge ocean.

Of course, with deadly rumours spreading, people of certain villages felt that someone needed to be blamed, and so they would blame the other villages. This caused many wars, and some of these villages were almost wiped out. One of the first villages almost completely destroyed was Tori Village. Some of these villages did make truces with other villages, but this often caused something that most of us are familiar with: World Wars. This was the first one to occur in history in this world. The one village that mainly seemed to be untouched was the Izou Village. The war was in the middle of this war when something very shocking happened: everyone had received a telepathic message, it read something like this:

This world will perish in 15 more years. Yes, the land may be on the edge already, but we are using all our powers to prevent this from happening, unfortunately, we are not strong enough. The only way to stop this crisis is if the 17 elemental stones are retrieved and are placed here, on Gloria Mountain. Each of these stones can be found in your villages, secretly put away so only the CHOSEN ONES can access them. We have now picked these 17 children as it is now their destiny to find these stones, and bring them here.

Suddenly, 17 women went into labour, and died, but their babies survived, each one with a peculiar marking on them. These 17 babies were the chose ones, destined to train and collect these majestic stones. These villages however, have very recently decided to make a cease-fire to help save the world. Most of the villages however, wanted to attack their enemies as soon as the world was saved.

Now, it is 14 years later that these kids have been told of their history. They have been told that they have been embedded with special pokemon spirits, which of course, correspond with their village's type. This pokemon spirit embedded usually shapes the hosts' personality. Knowing what they must do, everyone of them heads off to meet at Seiteki Village. Here is a list of the 17 villages, along with their element.

Steel:Can turn rock into metals, and can morph those metals into any shape
Dark:Can "Fade" causing special damage to be reduced
Fighting:Increase physical damage
Psyhic:Can teleport short distances
Lightning:Extra fast
Poison:Intoxicate enemies by touching them, also can create antidotes
Dragon:Highly Intelligent, extremely good planner
Flying:Can fly for short durations of time
Normal:Can copy another's ability for a short time, requires lots of energy
Ghost:Can turn invisible for a short amount of time

Appearance: Cain has dark black hair that is so long he has to keep it in a braid. His eye color is blueish green. Cain is slim at 130 pounds and is somewhat tall at 5"4.

Cain wears a black leather jacket. The inside of it he has inside pockets which he keeps items in. He wears a shirt on the inside which is black and has a Psy symbol. Cain's pants are dark jeans with a brown belt and a silvery buckle. His shoes are white sneakers with black laces

Personality: Cain is usualy shown with jelousy. He is very smart, he studies very frequently and is always trying to learn new things. However this gave him a bad reputation since he also did not have as much compassion as many others do. Cain is very uncompassionite and doesnt have many feelings. However Cain does read alot and uses many different reasons to use logic and reason. Cain is found many times trying to make more friends then he needs. His favorite foods are usualy things with some sort of spice in them.

History: After Cain's mother died the father was never found. He was immediatly taken care of by a local orphanage in the town. He was well known by many of his other orphans. After 10 years he was one of the most popular people in the orphanage since he did not hesitate before asked anything. But of course his resounding popularity between his students and teachers he was recommended for adoption by a pokemon trainer. This trainer was of course retired and gave him a starter pokemon which was an Abra which was the last pokemon the trainer caught

After four short years Cain was immediatly known of his pokemon spirit. A wandering psychic came through the town and saw Cain. This Psychic who was trained in seeing a pokemon spirit saw it inside Cain. He was then told of his history and his future. So he ran away from home to see the others at Seiteki village. Shortly after late at night Cain was eating berries and a Drowsee became drawn this. This Drowsee was weak and not very powerfull so he caught it with ease.

Appearance: AJ is a medium sized Hispanic teen, He's about Five Foot three/four and weighs around 120 something pounds. His eye's are a Cloudy blue and his teeth are nice and pearly, He is wearing an earing in his left ear and has a tattoo of the cross on his forehead. He wears Black leather pants and a black shirt with a white cross and the words 'Judgment Day' he wears black boots with iron soles. He wears a white trench coat with another cross on it, this times black. His hair is grayish white and styled in a ponytail. He always wears his engagment ring.

Personality: AJ has a fixed personality, he is serious and strict in battle but will also have a sense of humor to lighten up all the tense moments. Averagely he is a layed back calm kinda of guy, real outgoing. Even if you get on his nerves he will be willing to help you but if you really Piss him off your going to regret it, big time. So overall he's a layed back humorous yet strict and serious kind of guy.

History: Being married at such a young age to end a feud with Kazan Village was oblivious to AJ, he just thought he had a new freind. When he became four he began Violen lessons with Misty, as he got older he loved Misty more and more. He was devistated when she had to go train in her village, to help them both they exchanged their engagment rings to each other.

Age: 14 (seems kinda pointless to have it, eh?)

Appearance: Marasu stands upwards of six feet; quite tall for his age. He is quite built. He is very tanned from being outside so much. His hair is died a dark green color, and is quite long. His eyes are a very vibrant green. He normally wears baggy green pants and a dark green hoodie with a entricate symbol on the front, and always wears the hood up. He keeps his hands in his sweater's pocket, gripping his pokeballs. He has a large scar running across his right right eye, causing him to be unable to see out of it.

Personality: Marasu is a very shy and is sort of a loner. He has very few friends, and is a difficult person to gain the trust of. However, once someone gains his trust, he is very devoted and loyal to those people. Since he was alone for a majority of his life, he believes he can do anything himself, and is often cocky and arrogant. Despite that, underneath is rough exterior, he is a very generous and kind-hearted person, with a deep respect for all pokemon and most people.

History: Marasu has led a difficult life. After his mother died, his dad had a total emotional break-down, causing often to get drunk, sleep with many women, and beat Marasu. Marasu ran away as soon as he could, at the age of 10, abandoning all his friends and family. He hid in the forest, befriending many of the pokemon there, especially the bug types. One day, he was attacked by a Beedrill, but luckily one of the pokemon he had befriended, a Heracross, protected him. That Heracross became his first pokemon. In the next four years, he befriended many more pokemon, and capturing a Yanma he defended from a Zigzagoon. He also learned how to speak to pokemon, and became a loner of sorts, believing he can do everything himself, or with his pokemon. Now, the village elder found him in the forest, and told him the story about the world coming to an end, the chosden ones, and that Marasu himself was a chosen one. The village elder told him he would have to go to Seiteki Village, to meet the other chosen ones and start the mission to save the world. Marasu eagerly to Seiteki Village, exicted that he could finally do something to help others.

Other: Marasu is capable of speaking to certain pokemon, mainly bug-types.

Appearance: Juodas Siela is drenched in black. He wears a magicians robes, in pure black. His crow-black hair is always covered by a black magicians hat which tends to lead into most people believing he is a witch. The hat covers most of his face, stopping right above his eyes. His magicians robes open up at the neck and cover up to his nose. This leaves Juodas' eyes the only visible part of his face. His eyes however, are pitch-black, hollow, empty. Anyone who has seen his eyes are left in a depressed mood, often like his own. On his back he has an elongated and twisted staff which opens up like a hand at the top which holds a black orb. The sleeves of his robe reach to about his elbows but from there on his arms are completely wrapped in bandages. He wears running shoes that appear to be worn out, but are still comfy. His hands, in which only the wrists and fingertips are shown appear to be pale coloured skin, same as the thin strip of flesh showing on his face. He wears standard ninja gloves on his hands, which is why only his wrists and fingertips are shown. Around his eyes appear to be blackness all around his eyes, from a lack of sleep. Juodas stands at 5'10", tall for his age. Juodas is quite thin and physically weak.

Personality: Juodas is alone. He has never cared about friends, except for pokemon. He didn't like other peoples' wits. He always thought of others as a nuisance and complain to often or get too cocky or argue when they're wrong. Juodas has always been depressed and never shows emotions, that is, if he even has any. Of course, with an attitude like this, Juodas is very quiet and hardly talks, unless needed. Juodas can also be unpredictable, as he rarely ever sleeps and can be seen as "unstable" and randomly shows an extremely high amount of emotion. Along with the lack of sleep, Juodas can always be seen yawning. Despite his attitude, he is quite intelligent and is well-known about biology and nature, due to his extensive time there. Juodas also appears to be constantly lost in thought, as he didn't mind thinking.

History: Due to his mothers death, and believing he was cursed for being a chosen one, he left his home the instant he could walk. He seeked refuge in a nearby forest. The forest had forged his attitude, it was gloomy, dark and the trees appeared to be dead. Every night one could hear howls and would shiver at the sound. Being cursed with having Darkrai appear in every dream, Juodas hardly ever gets sleep. By the time he was in that forest for half a month, he gave up trying to sleep. Every time he was dreaming, Darkrai would appear and everything else would become black, and he had gotten scared, or had felt threatened. However, Darkrai was only trying to communicate with Juodas. Juodas had stayed in this forest, realizing that a lot of bad things in there were just hallucinations, from his insomnia. Juodas has never seen other humans since he had left Yumo City. Whenever Juodas felt he needed to get supplies he would sneak into town, unseen by the others, he had stolen goods. One night in the forest he had heard a howl, but it was different this time. The howl was closer than usual, of different pitch, and sounded if the wolf or whatever it was had been in pain. Immediately, Juodas had gone to check out what it was, and saw a young Houndour with a cut leg. Luckily, Juodas had gotten a cut earlier that night, and had ransacked a convenience store in Yumo City for bandages, and he had plenty left, and helped out the young Houndour. The Houndour had decided to stay with Juodas, noticing the loneliness inside of him. A few years later, when Juodas was only 9 years old he had come across and eevee, perfectly healthy, except it was being pestered by a half dozen Murkrow. He had grabbed the eevee and ran away with it, hiding it in a bush nearby where he "slept". In the morning, the eevee had appeared to Be curled up on Juodas' lap. He hadn't even realized that the Eevee had gotten there, and so he figured it liked him, and that he had drifted off in his thoughts, which he often did, and that was ebcause that was a close to sleep as he could get.

Ability: Can "Fade" causing special damage to be reduced. Juodas has not mastered or even used this technique before, as he has never contacted Darkrai, resulting in the inability of this... ability.

Personality:Andrew is very outgoing and makes millions of friends. He has friends of all ages. He is a very competitive trainer and will never give up. He runs triathalons and is good at swimming, cross-country running, and cross-country biking. His favorite of the three, of course is swimming. He has always wanted to help out the Pokemon community. He loves it when he gets a new Pokemon. His Pokemon are more than just parters to battle with, they are is friends. He isn't a sore loser or sore winner.


History: Andrew was born with an odd birth mark. He didn't really care about it, though. One day, when he was a 4-year-old, he ran from his house and jumped in the water. His dad ran after him and finnaly caught up. He couldn't see him. He jumped in after is son, and searched for him for a couple of minuets. He found him at the floor of the ocean, perfectly fine. His dad started running out of breath and swam as hard as he could to the surface. He didn't make it. Andrew grew up without any parents because his mom died when he was born, and he couldn't stay our of the water. When he was 14 he was told he had special powers. He loved the water, and figured it had something to do with his powers.
Ability: Can breathe underwater.

Appearance: Stands five feet and five inches. Gifted with dense muscles he has a very athletic look to him. Grey eyes with black hair reflect well with his olive colored skin. His attire is comprised of rough black pants and a loose fitting greyish white sleeveless shirt.

Personality: John keeps to himself, and is not entirely too ready to trust other people. However those who he does allow to get close, he will make sure come to no harm. As a typical adolesant John is uneasy around those of the opposite sex, though is very polite if he has to hold his ground confronting one. These are all results of his secluded upbringing.

History: Raised by his father in the times after that great war, he grew to rebuild and do what needed to be done. Time, patience and a hardened resolve that things could get better. Other people tried to help, but his father refused and as such John grew isolated and reclusive. This got him use to observing from a distance before making any harsh decisions. His father was a blacksmith and as John grew older he helped his dad out more around the forge. As a birthday gift for his tenth year of age his father gave him a Skarmory. A year and a month later John caught his own Aron that had been snacking on their metal supply. The years had passed quietly for him until the purpose of his fate he was told ...and it still doesnt make much sense.

Also wears biking gloves.One part of is bangs covers his right eye and his hair is semi-spiked. He has an athletic body and his forehead protector has a dragon on it.

Personality:Like his ability states , he is highly intelligent and a good planner. He has a very wild side to him though. He is hyper when he doesn't take his meds and is a kleptomaniac. He loves jumping from roof to roof and wishes he could fly (like a bagon). But he's not very clumsy and cares for his friends and his Gaburaisu and Dragonite. He utterly hates wasabi too , not that anyone likes it.

History:He has lived alone since he was three. His parents were killed by an unknown person. He doesn't trust anyone but his 10 sisters and 15 brothers (excluding elemental chosens).He was great at any sports when he was 5 and had an IQ of 500 when he was 7. He had a habit of stealing though. His closest friend , Viona , stopped his habit because of fear that he might get into trouble if caught. He has had an apparent crush on her and protects her no matter what , even if it costs him his life...

Ability: Highly Intelligent, extremely good planner

Appearance: Kensune Is very abnormally sized, standing at 6'4 and weighing at 242 lbs. Kensune has short, jet black hair which he covers with a black bandana, a gold hoop earring in his left ear, and black bike gloves. normal attire includes a black biker jacket with a white t-shirt underneath, blue jeans that are torn slightly, and black shoes that are pretty worn out. he keeps his wallet on a chain that leads from a belt buckle to his pocket, has molotto skin, and always carries his guitar with him, which is blue, silver, and black.
Personality: Now, those who first take a glance at Kensune auomatically classify him a a jerk. but on the contrary, he's one of the nicest people you would ever meet. hetreats both people and pokemon with respect, and is even training to be a pokemon doctor. although I wouldn't cross him, because even though he's nice, he still puts his foot down when needed. he's also a pasivist. (although he still can fight)
History: Kensune was born and raised in Dokueki village. He was always facinated by the poison type. on his seventh birthday, his father gave him a Bellsprout, with which he caught several other pokemon, but perhaps his favorite among them (besides Bellsprout) was Tentacool. He primarily raised those two, and ultimately, Bellsprout and Tentacool became the only two pokemon he ever needed.
Ability: Can poison/create antidotes merely by touch.
Other: Kensune is studying to be a pokemon doctor, and although he has the simple things down, like basic diets and effectve antidotes down he still has A LONG way to go. and also, Both of his pokemon are very tough, but Bellsprout is significantly stronger. did I mention he's an expert at the guitar?

Name: Xhelphia(Xhel) Ikikara
Age:14
Village/Element: Kazan Village
Embedded Spirit: Entei
Pkmn using: Flareon and Arcanine(that's right, goin old school =P )
Appearance:Xhel, as she has been nicknamed is not what one would expect as the carrier of Entei's spirit. She is small, standing a mere 5'1" tall and weighing only 97 lbs. Her skin is darkly tanned, contrasting vividly to her wvay white mane of hair. The girl's hair is odd in that it seems to have a mind of it's own and getting in her way is it's favorite past time. It hangs nearly to her knees with jaw length bangs that fall over the right side of her face. Her eyes are a viberant crimson shade that dim and brighten depending on her mood. Xhel is fairly petite in build and her clothing, though large and bulky, only makes this fact more apparent. Typically, her attire consists of a form fitting white under shirt that cuts off a little bit after her shoulders and a pair of bulky black pants made of a heavy cloth material. Her pants are fastened tightly about her waist by a thick white belt and because they are several sized too large, they have been rolled up so that they don't trip her up. Her feet are covered by a pair of simple sandals that strap about her ankles. Over her white shirt is a red hooded jacket of sorts, also without sleeves. It cuts off just below her rib cage and in the back it appears to have been laced together, a black ribbon trailing down a few inches from the bottom. Across the back of this jacket is a pair of jagged white wings that represent Entei's. Meanwhile on the front left side is the kanji for fire also in white. Starting at her forearms are a pair of arm guards, black and lined in white that stop about her wrists.

Personality: Surprisingly, despite her generally innocent and timid looking appearance, Xhel is by far one of the rudest, foul mouthed, bad tempered little things on earth. She is very blunt and because of this, she often hurts others unknowningly. Xhel is a very proud and honorable person, but because of her inner spirit, she sometimes has problems with her temper and it causes her to act violently. But, she is not always such and normally is fairly cheerful and affectionate. Xhel also finds it a bit hard to actually allow herself to care for others, but when she finds someone that she likes, she becomes protective and possessive. She tends to shy away from those that intimadate her unless she is enraged. If that is the case, she typically challenges said person verbally or physically. On top of her firey temper and prideful nature is her stubbornness which can also be another of her flaws.

History: Xhelphina was born to a young couple in the village of Kazan and despite the death of his wife, her father, Warren, devoted himself entirely to his new daughter. At first, he had been worried about his white haired child for she did not speak nor really respond to anything. She was very weak and had to be constantly watched because of her frailness. However, shortly after her fifth birthday a fire ignighted in their simple home while the child was still inside. Her father tried to rescue the girl but the other villagers had stopped him from entering. The flames were far too hot. But, much to the awe of the village and the relief of her father, Xhel skipped out of the flames giggling and smiling. Apparently, the heat had rejuvenated her weakened body. Since that incident, Xhel became a talkitive, wild, and generally happy go lucky child. She was generally liked in the village, despite her violent nature and blunt speech. She lived a fairly typical life, made a few friends, several enemies and rivals, and despite her growing doubts about herself, was generally happy. However, she was notorious for getting into fights, despite her small size, and after almost hospitalizing one boy, she was avoided by other children and many adults. She was just too wild to deal with. Her father was the only one able to cease the girl's anger and calm her down and he was also the only one that she truely respected. However, one evening, a group of kids were tormenting her about her strange resistance to fire and during a dare of sorts, her house was once again burnt to the ground, taking with it, her father's life. Since that day, she had mellowed out a bit, and now she holds a strong grudge against bullies and fire itself. She fears that the flames will take away everything that she cares about and leave her completely alone in the world.

However, she then found a small Growlithe that had been attracted by the blaze and it remained at her side ever since. Around her thirteenth birthday she was given a young eevee to raise by a local breeder and fell in love with the eon. Now she lives on the outskirts of the village with her two pokemon.
Ability: She has the ability to withstand high temperatures and has unknowingly used this ability on multiple occassions.

Name: Elias "Hayner" Wayne

Age: 14

Description: Hayner is pretty tall for his age, and towers over some of the other chosen ones. His hair is short and a reddish blond color, and his eyes are dark brown. He wears a green shirt with a symbol on it resembling the one on his necklace, a pair of black track pants with a red stripe on the sides, and a pair of hiking boots. His most prized possesion in terms of clothing is his pendant, which consists to be four tiny spikes pointing toward the four intermediate directions of the compass (northeast, northwest, etc.) attached to a thin silver chain.

Personality: You don't like Elias? Good, he thinks you're an idiot so it doesn't really matter. Elias has his own way of looking at the world. If you can beat him at anything, you are worthy of his friendship. If you can't, you're beneath his notice and therefore he pays you no attention. Obviously, he's fiercely competitive, and has an annoying habit of settling any dispute with a challenge, however ridiculous. Most of the challenges he makes are a little off-the-wall, which does say something about his sense of humor, but when the challenges are serious or if he's in danger, Elias goes all-out and pulls out all the stops to win at any cost. In mano-a-mano fights or Pokemon battles, he's usually fair-minded, but if he's put in a situation where playing nice and following all the rules won't help him win, he isn't above playing dirty. Elias has a low opinion of anyone who curses or plays violence/gore video games, and claims that such things only lower someone's character.

History: "Hayner" to his friends, Elias was born in Heigen Village to an esteemed citizen: The Village Leader himself. Since the day of his birth, he was groomed for greatness, since one day he would become the leader. During this time, Elias studied many things, including the martial arts, Pokemon battling, and how to use his embedded abilities to his advantage. It was also during this time that he acquired his love of competition, since his father constantly reinforced the fact that he was to be stronger then all challengers, or his position would fall into jeopardy. As Heigen was the final town to agree to send their chosen one, Elias didn't exactly want to go. However, when his embedded spirit exited from hibernation and proceeded to thrash Elias at a game of chess, the child of the forest agreed to help the others.

Abilities: In the rain, Elias can heal himself. In addition, in areas with bright sunlight, he can increase his speed slightly. (Yeah, the last one was added, but thinking about it, on its own rain-healing is really kind of a lame power. 0_o)

Pokemon:

Treecko (Roxas): Roxas is Elias' first Pokemon, and as such is devoted to him. The two are inseparable, and make quite a formidable duo in battle. Roxas shares Elias's love of competition, and some of the contests he suggests are quite silly. He's an excellent cook, and really likes making a show out of it. Roxas's signature move in battle is the use of two sharpened sticks that he uses as swords to wipe out enemy defenses.

Chikorita (Audrey): The evil Chikorita who haunts the village of Heigen, Audrey was chosen to accompany Roxas and Elias on this adventure because of her unique abilities. She is completely unable to use any attack other then vine whip, but she has discovered how to use her vines in a variety of different ways, leading to the creation of multiple variations on the vine whip attack that she alone can perform. Her idol is the famous singing plant from "Little Shop of Horrors", and many of her attacks, as well as her personality, are modeled from his. She's the ultimate bad girl, and isn't above beating people over the head to get her way.

Other: Elias and Roxas's favorite dessert is sea-salt ice cream.

OOC: Wow, I just managed to translate three-fourths of the gang from Twilight Town into roleplay characters without duplicating their appearance or personalities. Yay? 0_o

@Cosmiclefairy: Accepted, but Genger is primariyl ghost type =/ I would prefer you use a primarily poison (Or pure poison) type over than Gengar. Also, your pokemon are still basic form and lower levels (see rules), but it was easier to ahve final forms stated, because of the different eveelutions etc.
