How much of an emphasis do you put on contacts only?

It's a question that has been bumping around in my head lately, and I'm curious as to everyone's way of dealing with what is accessible to the public, and what is for friends, etc.
Do you make everything friend's only? Or do you leave some things open to the public? Heck, do you make everything accessible? How do you go about it, and what's your opinion of contacts only, overall. What's your line in the sand, in other words.
Just curious.
edit: Hey cool, the 100th blog post made. :O

I'm pretty sure everything in my profile, etc is accesible to everyone. I think the contacts only option is, for lack of a better term, retarded. I mean, it's just like saying, "No, you can't see my profile 'cause you're not my friend." >:D
... wait a minute. That sounds awesome. :O *goes to make everything friends only... just not really*Posted August 30th, 2008 at 6:22 PM by Motsuko Live

Almost everything I do is public. My LJ is public, all my galleries (on PC, LJ, Photobucket, etc.) are public, and... yeah. :x I'm really open online, but I don't think I'm stupid about giving things out either. If I need to give out my phone number, address, etc. I'll lock it, or make sure to only give it out to trusted people on MSN, etc.Posted August 31st, 2008 at 9:55 AM by Cherrim
