My feet hurt

And why? Because I entered a Pokemon tournament today, which caused me to stand around for about 6 hours straight. :(

It went like this. I caught a train into the city, where this event was happening, and I got lost on the way there. I ended up going to the food court before getting to EB Games where the event was held. I thought, hey, I should look for a big crowd in Rundle Mall, so the first one I found was in fact, an espresso bar. -_- I later found the place. :)

So after all that, we signed up and stuff, and I found one of my old school friends there, which was surprising. :) Anyway, the tournament was in brackets of elimination. You win, you go forward into the next battle, and so on. There was a big screen as well, which was kinda cool. :D

So yeah, my battle was the second one there, and I lost pretty badly. I had used a Throh, Volcarona, Zoroark and Galvantula, while my opponent had Mienshao, Haxorus and Galvantula revealed to me. You could say I lost because of hax, or being unlucky. My battle was something like me flinching three times in a row, which was really, really annoying, thanks to Fake Out and Acrobatics. :(

I then found Shin Tokyo, which is a place right next to EB Games, which I had heard a lot about. It is pretty much an Anime, Manga and Video Game store. :) It was so awesome, and I spent like, 20 minutes in there, just looking at everything. There were Pokemon plushies such as the standard ones, Scraggy, Sandile, and some other cool ones. There were some games which I found, including A Boy and His Blob, 9 Doors, 9 People, 9 Hours or something, and some other ones. What really excited me is that there were special Wall Scrolls, and I really wanted one of Luffy's Jolly Roger, and they didn't have that in the clearance sale section. :(

So yeah, I'll tell you about my friend. I always thought he lacked in the Pokemon Battling department, but that just shows how bad a judge of character I am for people. He ended up coming third out of the entire competition, which I was actually amazed. He had used a Rain Dance strategy of Seismitoad, Musharna, Ferrothorn and Hydreigon, which did really well if you ask me. :)

So the day ended, and I wondered about employment for Nintendo. I was just told that if you want employment there, just go for a certain section in the company, instead of the company itself, since there are more than just a few jobs there. :D

So yeah, I came home, ate Subway which I ordered earlier (Pizza Sub + Cucumber/Onion) and watched Biggest Loser/Masterchef. It was an amazing day, apart from me losing. :}

If that wasn't good enough, I found out that Mum secretly bought me Conker's Bad Fur Day on the N64 for me, which is amazing. <3 The best part is that it only costs $25, instead of the eBay price of $80.

Moral of the day: Inner Focus > Guts on Throh. :)

    It seems you had a good day. I didn't do much myself, and if I were to enter a Pokemon Competition, I'd loose badly. Knowing me. But, Conker's Bad Fur Day looks like a fun game and I want it so badly. Lucky you. xD
