Some people just make me want to commit murder

Alright, not actually commit murder per say, but physically harm to a serious extent? Yes. My biology teacher (head of my year also, looks after all the students in my year) is a lovely and caring person. She's had a rough few years, being that her husband died in Nigeria on a missionary trip and with it being Fathers Day recently, the past few days have also been hard for her. Plus, she's been trying to sell her house and it's been quite stressful on her so that doesn't help.
Since my class is rather small (about 15 people), she doesn't usually take a roll because it's easy to see who's here and who's not, but because of ~official school business~, she had to today. She beckoned us to quiet down, but this little prick told her to shut up and keep quiet because his conversation is more important than hers. Being a person who doesn't take **** from students like that, she gave him a detention. Because our class is quite close, she told us about five minutes earlier that she was leaving early today to take a flight to see the grave of her husband back in Nigeria. The little prick mentioned earlier, outraged at this detention, told her to "stay at school and do your goddamn job, your husband isn't important and going to Nigeria is only going to make your teaching worse."
She completely broke down and the rest of us were all shocked, my poor Bio teacher then told him "how disappointed I am in you", with nodded agreement from the rest present. He has since not been seen since he stormed out of class, playing the victim. The rest of us went and comforted her and sent her off her at the airport today.
I don't know what the point of this blog is, but I'm just really pissed off at that guy right now.

But he might not be a natural prick, right? Maybe it was the spur of the moment (because of the detention), but I guess what he did even before getting detention was uncalled for.Posted September 7th, 2011 at 11:32 PM by Truality

Oh well.
Either way, your teacher must be really good to handle this as 'how disappointed I am in you'.Posted September 7th, 2011 at 11:40 PM by Truality

Being a prick on spur of the moment is still being a prick. Someone who does something like that doesn't deserve a defense, honestly. :(Posted September 8th, 2011 at 1:06 AM by Vrai

If he realized his mistake and apologized, would that still make him a prick because he was a prick on spur of the moment?Posted September 8th, 2011 at 1:12 AM by Truality

Then he would've said sorry when the teacher said "how disappointed I am in you", right? I think he did not, so he's a natural prick that will either soon grow up as a criminal or a politician.Posted September 8th, 2011 at 3:35 AM by Zeffy
