Seeing I made a point to mention that I'll probably feature older songs a fair bit in the previous entry, I'll use this show to show that game music will also feature! But this tune is obscure... so I'm interested to hear if a) you know of the game at all, and b) if you heard of the song if so. Why b)? Because this song was unused in the game bar for sound test options! Which is strange because imo it's the best song from the game!
The game is Gimmick! for the NES, which has you playing as a green blob thing throwing stars both to damage enemies and travel around the stage. Old game that is actually really darn fun. And well made. And hard to beat fully.
The song is titled 'Strange Memories of Death'. Cheerful!
Frankly it's amazing what some people did with 8-bit games in regards to music. Imagine how this would sound, say, if it was fully orchestrated!
I'll also suggest if you're curious checking out Boss Theme 1 and Boss Theme 2. Check out some gameplay too if you have time to kill!
tl;dr - hey look old obscure game with good unused song, how about that.

Not bad. In exchange, I'll show you one of my favourite "old video game" music pieces. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w--V2GpypCA&feature=related
