About Me
OBJECTION! (Beachy's gonna be a defense attorney)

My Law Studies class is having mock trials that will involve actual referrals and disciplinary action cases from the school. In other words, a kid breaks a rule, he might go to trial in our class, our hand of jurors select the punishment, etc.
First case of the year, I'm the defense attorney with two others.
My client attempted to drive off school at lunch with an underclassmen (Junior, to be exact) to grab a bite to eat.
School policy states this isn't allowed. (only seniors can and I would bet the prosecutions main point would be to drill in "why couldn't you go get the food and comeback to get it to her")
I actually think, judging on how my 'more case information research' goes tomorrow, that we can get him off free with a warning. I want to ask the dean how many times he gave warnings to first offenders in similar cases, etc. Bunch of other stuff.
I'll update you all later when I have the time, but I thought it'd be cool to share.

That sounds really cool, though I'm not doing legal studies.
It's really good that your school has tied-in actual events with Legal Studies, it bring up passion and emotion, predecessors to determination. In this case, determination to win your case. Sound cool compared to my Engineering Studies "True length".Posted March 7th, 2009 at 3:57 AM by evilishan
