Youtubers And Their Impact On Their Audiences (John Legend, FoxTrot, Pac-Man) [Daily Bloggity Entry #3]

Youtube, in my opinion, will always hold a special place in my heart. Not exactly the 9-year old site itself, but more directed toward it's Youtubers and the content that they dish out each day. The great thing about the site is that it's purpose isn't directed toward one specific audience: whether you are a lover of comedy, animation, science, sports, art, and so on, you will more likely than not find what you are looking for. For me personally, I view Youtube as a place to destress and momentarily forget all of my inhibitions and just enjoy myself. After a long day of classes or a (grudgingly) long day at my job, I like to turn to Youtube to unwind and watch some of my favorite Youtubers and the content they produce. Here, I'm just going to highlight some of my favorite Youtubers and their impact on me.

Daily Video - "Stereo" by John Legend
Spoiler:

Some of my favorite Youtubers by far are the Game Grumps. Hosted by Arin "Egoraptor" Hanson and Danny "Sexbang" Avidan, their channel is dedicated to video games where they talk over gameplay with witty banter. The thing I like most about the show is that it is so informal, really barely talking about the gameplay itself which is perfect. Sure, it might mean they get lost from time to time, but their improv makes up for it by making each day a new adventure where I have no idea where it may turn, in turn also opening me up to so much more knowledge and content that I ever could imagine. Furthermore, I'm not alone when I say they make a profound impact on their "lovelies," a name they affectionately have give to their members. On their subreddit and highlighted in some of their videos, people have admitted to the Grumps that they suffer from chronic depression and that their days are a lot better knowing that their will be new videos from them every day. That alone shows how a single video or channel can make a difference. Indeed, on days where I am gloomy I also turn to comedic channels like Game Grumps to cheer me up. The easy access to this makes a great remedy for a bad day, and if you don't already have an equivalent to this I highly recommend you check them out.

Daily Comic - "Minecraft" by Bill Amend of FoxTrot
Spoiler:

Another channel I love is ERB, or more known as the "Epic Rap Battles of History." Made by Nicepeter and EpicLloyd, they combat two members of history - real or mythical - into an insane lyrical war incorporating a barrage of words. Some highlights of them include "Albert Einstein vs Stephen Hawking,"Chuck Norris vs Abraham Lincoln,""Steve Jobs vs Bill Gates," and "Mozart vs Skrillex." While it does take awhile for them to release videos, eveytime they release a video it's a treat and a delight. Both of them did small town improv before making their smash hit of ERB, and sometimes comedy is not very viewed as a definitive or solid career. However, this proves that when push comes to shove and you dedicate yourself to something that you love, you never know what the results may end up as. I myself am currently searching for what I want to do as a career after changing my course of being a Registered Nurse, so people like Epic Lloyd and Nicepeter inspire me to follow my dreams and not waste my life into doing something that I will hate.

Daily Video - "Don't Touch Pac-Man" by animator Ricepirate
Spoiler:

And those are only two of the Youtubers I love: Rooster Teeth, Rhett & Link, CaptainSparklez, Watsky, Ninja Sex Party, and SeaNanners are only some of the other channels I love watching. How about y'all? Why do you use Youtube? Who are your favorite Youtubers? Do you think they help shape who you are at all? Would you ever consider making a channel? Comment below with some of your answer and discuss!

‡ As always, the "Daily Bloggity" is self written by myself and includes just some of my opinions on different mediums. If you have a subject that you might want me to touch on, feel free to PM me or comment below! I would love to hear some of your ideas! Tune in tomorrow at 5PM Eastern Time for the next edition of the "Daily Bloggity!" Cheers! ‡

You should check out GassyMexican's and Captain Sparklez channels as well! They upload 10 minute episodes of their Prop Hunt/Hide & Seek with SeaNanners, it's funny seeing what else goes on in their fun besides the highlights!
