Just me fooling around with some CSS.

Look up in the top-right corner of the page. I whipped that up because I was bored. If I could, I'd implement that into a style, of course, with it having your username and profile image and whatnot.

Also just made up the numbers in there. I always keep my notifications clean.

This idea, though, was based loosely off of a really neat, canned aspect from New Directions while it was still in beta. I really miss this part of it, as it was really useful and was always there. Too bad Nick didn't keep it :c

Although if I could improve it any more, I'd make it so that the background color is the same color you choose for a style accent in the User CP. It'd be a lot nicer.

    IT LOOKS DUMB

Just kidding! The only thing I have a problem with is that the bg for it is REALLY hard to read the text.

Yeah. I could probably modify the alpha value and make it a little less see-through-y.

Edit: Set it to 0.85, looks a lot better now.

If you send me the CSS, and the preferred style you would like to see it on, I might be kind enough to enable such a feature for you, but only you would see it of course :P

That would definitely look cool in fixed-width styles!

However, I think it'd perhaps look cool if you had a certain class go along with it, like either tcat or thead so that it changed with styles.

I'd probably have to find the proper variables and phrases and whatnot so that it will adjust accordingly, but I'll see if I can get it working on another site as a testing thingy, then I'll get back to you :D

Actually, if you know what variables to replace and whatnot so that links and images and whatnot update as they're supposed to, I wouldn't mind having it enabled. I'm on Chromatic 2.0.

If I get it working as a plugin, though, I'll let you know.

Exactly what I had in mind, tbh! I could probably play with it a tad and get that effect. I wonder if I could turn this into a complete vBulletin plugin...
