Beat FFCC:EoT! Thoughts
Haha, I guess I would have beaten Ring of Fates this quickly with my sister if the multiplayer was connected to the story. In this one it's nice that we got to progress the story while playing together, but poor Saoli was left out. 'Specially the people in the village didn't really talk to her very much as she was just a visitor and I lived there. Anything that wasn't in a scene wasn't shown to her, so if we were to do WiFi story no one would have a clue where to go besides the leader.
I guess it had to be done because this story isn't "The hero/heroine helps people." it's about you. ;_; Sherlotta!
She luffs me. .-. The ending was...not bad and I'm not sure what I wanted, but I wanted more.
I'm happy that they keep going with the Crystal Chronicles series, but I'm still yearning for something closer to the first game. Mechanic-wise they've done great! I know they respond to things seeing as from Ring of Fates to Echo's of Time they fixed the abuse of magicite to skip obstacles.
(Something me and my Selkie sister abused greatly.)
In the first game story wise, it was about the collective group. There was a story, but it had a freer atmosphere, it felt like you owned this world. The customized character traveled friends that WERE included in the story and felt more like a party than anything and the random occurrences were really cute and refreshing. I guess I liked the traveling for a common task, not save the world until late. I mean, YEARS passed by before the plot thickens. It makes much more sense than some new caravan travelers ultimately saving the world in a straight forward quest, but putting pieces together as they grow more experienced.
I think I'm going to go find a spot around here where I can make a poll. I want to know how often alot of people play with friends/siblings. Me and me sister play all the time. so I wonder if the developers would think of more online play or wireless.
OH OH OH! ^_^ I absolutely loved sending letters back home!
