Like many, I've generally good experience with Redbox. What's there to complain about? Redboxes are very easily accessible for the most part, allowing many to rent or buy DVDs and video games for a moderately cheap rate. Plus, customers of Redbox have the freedom and ability to return their movies or games to any location of their choosing, giving users of the movie service flexibility in terms of the when and where for the return. Great service, am I right or am I right?

In early September, roughly around the time of Labor Day, Redbox had a big sale on it's video game stock (I want to say that it was applicable to all video games but I had focused primarily on the Xbox One stock. At that time, and still now I suppose to an extent, I had been very invested in selling a bunch of belonging through eBay - I've currently made a profit of $1,100+ on my video game stuff. As a result, I took advantage of the sale and ended up buying a good deal of games on sale to turn them into a profit later on. It was, to my belief, a great plan to say the least.

Well, turns out it really wasn't. Over this past weekend, I was skimming through my bills and noticed a $83 charge for Redbox on my credit card. Now for many Redbox users, it is known that you generally only pay $1.99 per night for DVDs and $3.99 per night for video games, so the $83 charge came as a big surprise to me when I came across it. So, as any rational person might do, I called up customer service to figure out why I was charged such an unusual amount. Turns out when I had made my purchase of a bulk of games, there was one singular item that had been selected as "rent" instead of "buy." Inevitably, I fought them tooth and nail with them on the matter, giving examples o how I've never had a late purchase in my life, how you can clearly see that all of the items in the purchase were meant to be bought, as well as talking to a supervisor as the argument festered, but to no avail was the charge reversed in the end.

I know that ultimately I am rattataing and the customer service representatives are just following protocol and policies, but I've had similar situations with different companies in which I've been able to reverse the charge quite easily. Anyways, I'm not exactly 100% pleased with Redbox at the moment and my business with them will be postponed for awhile. What about you guys? What do you think of this situation? Have you ever had to argue with a company to get an order charge reversed? How did that go? Comment below as I'd love to hear and discuss with you what you have to say about this topic!
