Since we will officially reach the halfway point of the Johto remix with the rewritten "Hassle in the Castle" (which is episode 62 on my outline), let's compare our pace in the remix to the real show:
The real show has 156 episodes in the Johto arc, vs. the remix, which is on track to have 124 episodes--a difference of 32 episodes.
In addition, the real show took 78 episodes to reach halfway, while the remix has taken 62 episodes to get that far--a difference of 16 episodes
So I'd say we're doing very well with the goal of "speeding up" the remix.
