Moonlight Silver episode 70--The Afterpost

This week's episode serves as foreshadowing to an important Pokemon for Brock--Tarina, the brave Pichu who goes with him in Houen (replacing Bonsly), Shinou (replacing Happini), Unova, and Alola. Even though she is not mentioned by name, we do see some of her character traits--she is brave, cares for her friends, and knows how to lead.
Initially, I created Tarina for an OC contest, and even though she did not win, she was just too much of a good character not to use again, appearing in her own series of "written comics", and as a companion for Brock and the others.
In her contest backstory, I explained that Brock found her in an alleyway somewhere in Pewter City, and took her in, believing her to be a stray. When no one came forward to claim her, Brock had the option of adopting her, and he and Tarina have been together ever since.
Putting her in here before that fateful meeting added a little more to her backstory--she lived with her Pikachu parents in the wilds of Johto for a while, then moved to a forest not far from Pewter City, allowing her to meet Brock again. This way, Brock could still have a young Pokemon, but one that could actually contribute to the team instead of wandering off and causing trouble. (but that's not to say she won't get into trouble--a Pichu in my imagined Pokeworld has the intelligence level of a preschool or kindergarten aged human child)
She is a special character to me, and I look forward to writing out her adventures across four regions.
