Well, for two stories, anyway. :p Everyone can go thank ShinjisLover for this.

I warn in advance that I honestly think I suck at summaries. ._. Then again, these were kind of just written up really quick.

And yes. Lame names are lame.

If you're curious about anything or if something isn't clear, just ask. ^^;

[CH] + [SA] SUMMARIES

BACKGROUND INFO
In an alternate universe, there's an extra country: the island nation of Breidaves. This country is unique, for it's the home of psychics.

Around 1995, a man named William took the Celedon families, and starts his attempt to take over the country. Ever since then, it's become more dangerous, and more people die each year. However, Breidaves still runs... somehow.

Both stories take place in 2023.

[CH]
Ten years ago, Natalie's parents die, both within a month of each other; after two terrible years at the orphanage, Ashton Katgane adopts her. He's one of the richest men in the country. Yet, he's not exactly... loving. Not only that, but he loathes psychic fighting, which Natalie loves.

On Natalie's 19th birthday, she confronts Ashton. During her first semester at university, she's run out of money. Ashton refuses to give her any more (despite his wealth) and tells her to get a job. She vows to find an entry-level fighting job, which Ashton insists doesn't exist. Natalie soon finds what she's looking for by sheer luck: Celedon Control. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, they run missions to stop Celedon activity. She brings this application to Ashton, who forbids her from joining. Natalie, never liking her father, joins anyway, for she feels she can use the practice.

However, once the job actually starts, she starts to worry that, for once in his life, Ashton's right. The job's a lot more dangerous -- and deadlier -- than she first anticipated. It doesn't help that her two teammates, Lance and Arielle, have past connections to Celedon activities. But, it's soon obvious that she's signed on for the entire year, no matter what happens...

[SA]
Nadine's past is even more complicated than Natalie's, if at all possible. Her mother, Annette, ran away from her hometown, and, at sixteen years old, has Nadine. Within two months, she's sent Nadine to her old home, for her grandmother to raise. Nadine's instantly an outsider, for this town prides itself for having only pure psychics, and no one knows who Nadine's father is. At sixteen, when Nadine's grandmother dies, Nadine's aunt sends Nadine away to the Kelsan household, a family of foreign psychics. This brings up an interesting opportunity she wouldn't have had if she'd stayed home: she can now learn the secret psychic arts. In exchange, she must work in the Secret Arts department for a year. Their main mission? Time travel to prevent other people from learning and using time travel without authorization. At nineteen, she's called to service, along with the oldest Kelsan daughter Alexis and Diane, their partner during training.

The first few months fly by, but Nadine soon hits a snag: for the first time in nineteen years, Annette has returned to Nadine's life. She works with a mysterious group called GA. Their mission is simple: stop William the Second from taking over the country in five years and starting a reign of terror. Their group is illegal, though, because they do not have authorization to learn or use time travel. As much as Nadine wants to stay within the law, she cannot let William the Second win. So, she joins GA, and promptly gets caught. This leads to her leaving Secret Arts, and getting kicked out of the Kelsan household. She has little choice to move in with her father, who also has just met Nadine after nineteen years of separation.

Nadine keeps feeling that GA ruins her life, but at the same time, she can't deny that being with GA has changed her. If this is for better or worse, she will have to discover for herself over the year.

I remember you said that both stories tie into each other after these stories are done, So does the GA group have any relevance to the Celedons? (ei: are they against each other, allies, or not even related at all?)

In theory, they're against each other, but in practice, what Natalie and Celedon Control fights isn't what GA deals with.

William the Second and his government starts off as an off-shoot of the Celedon families, which doesn't even properly form until October of 2023. For a lot of the story, GA's facing the future of this group: the government, which consists of non-Celedons. GA does eventually investigate Celedons, but this is on an individual level; they're trying to find William the Second before he can take over. Since GA just targets certain individuals and doesn't even pick fights as long as they get answers, the Celedons don't bother with them. GA's too small and not causing any real threat.

This took too long to reply to. Keep going onto random tangents that don't even answer the question...
