BLOGGING: A warning

Okay, just a heads up that the staff have been noticing an excessive amount of swearing (censored or no) and posting of inappropriate content that would not be considered appropriate on the actual forum. You guys should know better, and from this point on whenever such content is found you will be warned / infracted for it. Blogging is a part of PC, so PC's rules still apply. Please keep this in mind, though it should have been obvious from the start.

Why did you post something that should be in announcements in blogs.

There's huge possibility this was directed at a current blog I made (considering the timing), so sorry. . Though, no censor has been by-passed that I saw.

Shinjis, this is directed at several incidents over time, not just recently. We're just trying to reinstall the logic that "blogs =/= do whatever the hell you want".

I think a few of mine might have inappropriate content from MSN convos. I'll look them over.

It's fine here. Only a small fraction of PC actually has blogs, and it's on the main blog page until further notice.

I think this is in the right place. It only affects bloggers and only bloggers will really read this.

But yeah, not that I think I'm guilty of it, but I did notice quite a jump in how "extreme" language was in blogs versus forums.

Is there a list of unacceptable words anywhere? I used a word that's not really a swear word in England but I don't know about other places.

Heh. I tend to keep a clean mouth in my blog, but if any of my previous entries happens to have something it shouldn't let me know and I'll fix it.
