Epic ending goes softly

This might be slightly spoiler-ish. Just a fair warning at that.

So, I came across Giratina. The Torn World had all this epic buildup to it. So, I saw it, and had a Poké Ball throwing war at it, to which it kept popping out. More than once did the Poké Ball rock three times. Either it ran out of PP for all of its moves hence Struggled and died, my Pokémon would be all defeated, or I'd be out of balls, and I'd constantly soft-reset as a result. Eventually though, I sucked my pride in to catch it in a Master Ball. So annoying. Cue severe spoiler…

And then, Torn World story is over. Shirona/Cynthia, who accompanied you in the Torn World, congratulates you, Akagi/Cyrus disappears, and the Torn World quest we've been hyped up about finishes like that.

Whoop-de-doo, I saved the freaking Pokémon world. Now what? I battle in the 8th gym. Seems a little plain. Music isn't epic anymore, either.

Although it's not a severe hit, since it didn't end just like nothing like in Diamond and Pearl. And the storyline is actually quite nice and the way the Torn World was built up, and the cutscenes that accompanied it, are also nice.

3D Yuxie, Emritt and Agnome in a sprite cutscene is awesome too.

Except, there's nothing you really do in the Torn World except battle Giratina. No wild Pokémon, no items… nothing.

edit: As it turns out, since I was getting pummeled in a battle, I soft-reset… and ended back at the Torn World. Looks like I'm going to give Giratina another catching shot! (Thank goodness. It doesn't feel good having caught it in a Master Ball anyway.)
