2012 brings new things to discover as well as uncertainty about the future. It also brings more of that 2012 doomsday BS that has been running rampant the past few years, despite common sense and scientists actually proving that the predicted Mayan doomsday will not happen! But that still doesn't stop idiots like Discovery Channel, History Channel, Patrick Geryl and other morons from continuing to shove their doomsday shows and books down our throats!
Since the world will end in 356 days from now (we are in a leap year, so we have the 29th of February), I've decided to have my own fun with this "phenomenon". Don't worry, I'm not going to talk about how the earth will suddenly reverse its magnetic fields or anything like that. I lack the intelligence to make sense of that stuff.
The reason for this title if I'm not going to talk about 2012? A certain 80's song that critics think is probably the worst song in history.

REALLY considering getting a Wii

This has popped into my mind recently. I really give credit to Nintendo for going all out and making the Wii. With you actually making the moves instead of using your thumbs on a joystick, it gave you a new play to play games. And add the fact that the Virtual Console can let you download classic Nintendo games and some you've never played before, it's a major winner.
While the system does have crappy games, there are a bunch of them that I really want to play. Mostly Mario Kart Wii, SSBB and a few others. I could go get a Wii right now if I wanted to, but there's this little thing called ConnectiCon coming up at the end of the month.
I can't believe that there are no pre-owned Wiis at any Gamestops I've been to. Guess nobody wants to get rid of theirs. Looks like I'll have to go brand new. So, probably by the end of the month or early August, I will own a Wii.

It make sense that there are not any pre-owned ones I think, seeing as for months and months it was almost impossible to get one when it first came out.
The Wii really doesn't have a large collection of really good games, but usually the ones that are good you can play over and over again. I don't know, I just know even when I haven't played it in a while it never crossed my mind, "maybe we should sell it back".Posted July 11th, 2009 at 2:56 PM by Nina

Geez, I remember when the Wii was selling out all over the place when it was first around. Now you can find one anywhere. Guess I waited for a good time to get one.Quote:It make sense that there are not any pre-owned ones I think, seeing as for months and months it was almost impossible to get one when it first came out.

I am getting a Wii just because I want to get a Wii Fit. My parents have a Wii just because of that. XD And I would love to play old games from the Virtual Console. I went to Best Buy on Sunday, and there were a lot of Wiis. But I have a feeling during Christmas they might be gone again. So I better buy one. Same goes the Wii Fit. Those are pretty popular. So don't be suprised that it will start selling again around the holidays.Posted July 28th, 2009 at 11:53 AM by Lucy Lu
