Wahey, I have a blog now. And I guess the best way to start this is, well, to thank everyone that brought me all this way here, from poor random kid on the street all the way to ... whatever I am now. And here we go..

Oh one more thing. This is a really really really long post, so if you get bored easily I advise you to go away. D: In all seriousness, I mean every word on this page and if you don't want to read it, fine. I bolded all of the names of the people I recognized so if you want to scroll quick through here and read what I said about you, you can do that. :3

    --

This first person on my list is arguably the most important person I've met, and yet also the least important. Without him, I'd have probably never come across anyone else, and my career in hacking would have simply faded away, and I'd have never known all of you awesome people. He was my first hacking partner, and the first person I actually talked with online. In fact, I even owe my MSN to him, as my dad had blocked downloading stuff to the computer and he had been kind enough to send a copy to me. But, towards the end of our happy little hacking relationship here, we hit a bump, and everything went upside-down and underwater. He left PC with all five of his various accounts quite some time ago, so I doubt he'll ever get this, but thanks, Neo/Devon/Drevilg/Nikeiphoros/TeddiursaTM/whatever other accounts you had. It was a blast. :3

Let's see.. who did I meet next..? Ahh, yes. This person was another quick friend. What's sad is that I can't remember exactly how we met, but I do remember that you had some silly hack called Pokemon: School, or something like that, yeah? xD Devon and this person and me were all hacking noobs at about the same time, and after getting to know each other a little bit, we formed a team that we aptly named "GameGeek". It was only meant to be the three of us, but after Devon left, it kinda went poof. If I remember right, don't you still have the GameGeek MSN as your main MSN now? XD Anyways, thanks for all you've ever done for me, Surf.

Ooh, who was next.. oh, I remember. I don't have a whole lot of memories of this guy, but what I do I was pretty fond of. His dad basically took away PokeCommunity from him (GASP! :@), so I didn't hear from him in a long while, but..
Anyways, he had this huge, popular (or what we noobs back in the day thought was popular, ie 800 posts in the Scrapbox) hack, called Reign of Fire. But it never really had more than ideas; a couple of sprites here and there, a couple music remixes. Kinda reminds me of a certain hack that's popular nowadays but is slowly dying *coughcough Torzach coughcough*. But the guy was still lovable and Reign of Fire was a part of my time here, and so I devote my thanks to Druyii.

Next.. hehehe. What's sad is that I only met this guy (and, well, another guy too) because he used me to beta test the X version that he made of someone else's hack. But I guess battling the first gym leader with a level 27 Vaporeon working out the kinks in his X version was pretty good, because if I hadn't, I'd never had made a couple of really good friends. I think it was around New Year's Eve when I met this kid.. I can't believe it was only that long ago. He doesn't hack any more, but still comes around to check in on us every once in a while. Thanks for being awesome, Jake2. (Disturbed)

And along with Jake is that other guy that I mysteriously mentioned up there. He's got an avid love of DragonBall Z and the like ("It's over 9000!" is his catchphrase) and he's one of the coolest yet nerdiest people I know, and I have him to thank for being a friend. I mean, seriously, I couldn't live without those "sup." "nm, you?" "nm" conversations we have every day. Cheers to you, Adam. :3 (megiddo)

The next I met was... well, he was my ranting buddy way back when. What's strange is that we met over the most trivial of things; I had some weird pivot animation in my signature, and he started talking to me about it. Then we got on to rants against stupid noobs (at this point in the game, I was about past the noob stage and onto the "hey look I'm a semi-decent hacker" stage, so I went off on noobs and told them everything they did wrong just for fun). It was like instant chemistry. We're both huge grammar Nazis (seriously I'm sorry I keep mixing up "me either" and "me neither" D: ) and we have so much in common that it's not even funny. Now, I'd trust this guy for anything. For being one of the most amazing, trustworthy people I've ever known, thanks, colcolstyles.

After about here I started meeting all of these awesome people like crazy; so, in no particular order are the next couple guys.

Right, so I met this one kid a while back. He's one of the more-known members of the board (hey, having 31,000+ profile views isn't anything to shrug off), but I'm glad he took the time to speak to an innocent noob like myself way back when. To be honest, I can't remember exactly how we met, but.. oh well. He's a pretty fun guy to talk to every now and then, and I'm pretty happy to have him as a friend. Thanks, Mikeh. :3 (Wind~, although I happen to remember him by yaoi. ;D)

And for another person whose meeting I do not quite remember exactly.. this guy seems to have an aptitude for scripting, and is pretty dang good with CSS. I have to thank him for being just an awesome kid; thanks, Seth. (Raikou-san; too lazy to get his current name)

Next next next.. I actually met this guy way back in the beginning, but I don't think I had a good relationship with him until recently.. but at any rate, he's one of my favorite people to talk to, and I think he deserves some awesome for all of those Quagsire pictures he drew in our MSN conversations. Seriously, Max, you've got awesome skillz. Thanks. :D (Chibi Robo)

I think I'm actually beginning to run out of room here (maybe, maybe not) but I'll keep going for another paragraph. This kid is one of my most recent friends; there's a lot to be said about a guy like him. He's friendly, helpful, and positive. Always up for a good ol' chat. We have nearly the same ideas about everything; when I remember back to when we first really met (which was about May-ish), we both aspired to lead the RHN (ROM Hacking Newsletter, for those of you who don't know) and, almost kinda secretly, be moderators. And as surprising as it is, both came true. Thanks for being there for me, Harry. (Goodies/Alice.)

    --

There's so many more people that I should thank but I don't think I have the room (or the time; this took a long time to type, and it's only for a couple guys!) to write everything that happened between all of my friends. Therefore, I'm gonna have to cut it down to a line or two from here on out. Sorry if I offend anyone by doing that. D:

Teh Panda: Well, now you've kinda left us in the dust, but I know you've got a full life ahead of you, so live that to your best, and I'll hang on to the memories. You did everything, man; had a couple hacks, ran the RHN for two issues, even made some awesome sprites and tiles. Thanks, Panda.

Behbod/Likewise: Dude you have one of the most awesome names ever. I mean seriously, you can't get more awe-inspiring than that. Names aside, though, you're a beastly friend and a great guy to talk to. Thanks. :3

MegaMaccer: Like Reign of Fire and Druyii, Torzach held a little part of my life for a little while too. I was mapper (but I only made one map D:) and somehow I'd ended up as the leader of the project for two days. It was pretty fun while it lasted, though, so thank you for that.

Banjora Marxvile: I remember back in the noob days when I met you. Turtwigtoon, wasn't it? You and your awesomeness made me a better person.. I think. XD Thanks, though, Marx.

The Tony: What is it with you and your perv jokes D:
Anyways you're an awesome guy and always seem to make my day when you're online (but you aren't much any more.. :0). Thank you for that.

TB Pro: I remember the good ol' days when me and you and Jake and Adam would spend a whole day talking about who would eat each other's babies. Yup, those were some of my favorite times of my actual life (I dunno if that just shows how crappy my life is XD). Thanks. :3

Thrace: I probably should be saying something about how you were honestly my favorite mod and everything you say is so obviously right and some other inspirational garbage, but what I really want to say is that you have the coolest name ever. Seriously. ^^ Oh, and thanks.

Sandro: I have to say, Sandro, you're pretty awesome. Running all of the.. stuff you do (like hosting Jake's forums :3) just put you towards the bottom of my hit list. :D
..oh wait you guys aren't supposed to know about that. But thanks for being here and there and everywhere, Sandro. :3

thethethethe: You probably have absolutely no idea who I am (unless you've been stalking me :o) but I actually owe you almost everything of what I've done here. You see [tl;dr alert] I actually joined in June. I came here to hack, and all that, but, being the silly person I am, I got bored. Pretty dang fast. I left PokeCommunity, never spoke of it again, dropped the dream. Left all of my hacking stuff behind. But then, several months later, I was cleaning my room and found an interesting piece of paper on my floor. Turns out that it was part of your original PokeScript scripting tutorial; I followed the link on the page and returned to PC.. for good. And for that, I have you to thank.

    --

You know, as I close this up, I get the feeling that I forgot to put in mentions for so many people. But that's the way of life, I guess, and things sometimes mess up (it happens around me quite a bit). If you think that you deserve a mention on here, go ahead and give me a shout. If you really belong here, I won't think twice about writing something fantastic that you probably don't want the world to know about you. :3

Anyway, as a cover-all here, I'd like to thank anyone and everyone that I've ever talked to. All of you helped to shape me the way I am now, and so you all deserve it. Honestly, thank you.

My time is up; you do whatever you want now. And, to be redundant..

    ..thanks for reading this.

Is it just me or do you not remember how you met anybody? xD It seems like you said that for pretty much every single person.
But seriously, that was really sweet, especially that last bit about how thethethethe actually got you back into hacking. Funny how that small little event probably changed your life (and mine as well ;) ) forever.

I guess this post wouldn't be complete without a Grammar Nazi moment. Let's see... oh! You said "There's so many more people". Glad we got that out of the way :D

Anyways, I really enjoyed reading this. I found myself nodding along as you so accurately described some of those members that I used to know before they left PC/fell out of contact. In fact...this is making me a little sad :'(

Really though, this was nice. I'm glad you finally managed to pull it off, after hearing about how hard a time you were having while writing it. I'm looking forward to reading more entries. Better get cracking on that next one! This one's gonna be hard to beat!

Wow, this is pretty much the coolest blog post I've ever read.

It kind of felt like a "leaving PC forever" post. XD
Hopefully we won't see that post for a long long time.

Those MSN conversations were definitely some of my favorite times online these past couple of years. We need to have more 10-20 people conversations like we did in those days.

You'll be a far better moderator than I was. From what I've read it seems like you've got a real love for the community still. Something I was starting to lose when I was modded.

Oh and that thing about always sounding right. Its just the way I write, it gives the illusion of being correct. XD

    I can make that happen...

I feel like I should say something really meaningful right now, but I've never been one for meaningful, heartfelt things.
But, this is the exact thing that I needed.
    A great sprit uplift.
Only five minutes ago I was planning to leave PC, quit hacking and sink into some minority that is the people who have no life happening.
Thank you, Jake, for inspiring me, yet again.
And, I met you through the Gamegeek idea, through MSN.

Umm.. apparently not. It's been so long ago since I actually met a lot of these people that I really can't remember how I met most of them. Is that a bad thing..? XD

"There's so many more people"? How's that grammatically incorrect? D:

Thank you, though. I appreciate it. :3

I don't think we'll be seeing that "leaving PC forever" post for a while. At least, not unless I get run over by a car or something.
For most of the community, anyways. :3
You should teach me how to write like you do then. D:
    Thanks. ^^
