I had one of those days...

Where I wanted to rot in a cave.
I have this major presentation in early December. Beforehand, I am supposed to discuss with my teacher a rough outline of what I am doing. She was not very clear on what my conference day with her would be, other than a Thursday at 8:00 AM. I assumed that it was today. So yes, I stayed up all night typing a 2 month assignment in 1 day. Standing outside her office this morning, I waited until my teacher was done conferencing with other students. Then, the school bell rang at 8:20, so I told my teacher that she skipped my appointment for today. She sincerely apologized and tried to reschedule it, but we realized that my conference was actually scheduled for a Thursday in November.
November.
Where I wanted staple my palm to my face.
My History homework assignment was “Read 1” in a new book. I interpreted it as reading page 1, as previously, everything was marked as pages 990-1014 or whatever. I did not realize that it meant read Chapter 1 (about 17 pages) until 3 minutes before the quiz. I failed.
Failed.
Where I wanted to laugh coke out of my nose.
My friend and I were in the library when I borrowed her cell phone to text my older brother. I texted, “Are you available Friday night or Saturday morning?” Wait, I forgot something. “Next Friday/Saturday.” Waiting for his text reply, I sat around like a tard when suddenly, her ring tone goes off. She quickly picks it up to cancel the sound and answers it. He says, “Hello? Who are you?” She says, “Who are you?” He proceeds to cuss and reasons that she called him first so she needs to answer. She mumbles something saying I texted him, so she passes her phone to me. I talked to my brother a bit and he was fine with me visiting but he was a jerk. Plus, us girls could have gotten in trouble, as cell phones are prohibited. He thought the cell belonged to a hot babe asking him out on Friday (how predictable, haha). Regardless of his eagerness for some action, he is a lover/father, so he got upset over the random call. He told me next time to give my name when I texted him from an unknown phone. Ultimately, he embarrassed me so miserably.
Miserably.
Just wait till May, the month of exams!
